We stopped here and picked up sandwiches to go. Employees were friendly , the sandwiches were prepared quickly. My husband's sandwich had all of 3 slices of roast beef on it. A $14-$15 sandwich. I ordered a veggie sandwich and it was billed as having Swiss cheese on it. There was none. Also, it was slathered in so much Dijon mustard, my eyes were watering. $30 worth of sandwiches, $5 worth of ingredients tops. Sorry Rudi's, very disappointing. read more

Stopped by to grab a quick meal for five of us on the road. So pleasantly surprised with all the gluten free choices! I tried the sandwich with bacon, banana peppers, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and mayo- a spin on the BLT - it was delicious! My husband raved about his roast beef panini. I realized that in all the many times I've visited Rudi's I've never reviewed them! If you are in Winter Park, CO and it's near the lunch hour, you have to come here! The sandwiches are great. Updated: Returned to Rudi's today after hearing they got the toaster fixed/replaced. Amazing what some toastage can do for a sando. Today the filling ratios were much more appropriate. Nice crispy bacon too. I'll be back! Probably taking a break from Rudi's for a while at least until they figure out the toaster situation. Generally in the past I've had pretty decent sandwiches here, but in the last couple months things have fallen off pretty hard. As I mentioned, there's no toaster, which means every sandwich is served cold. Not a huge deal I thought, until I realized that without being toasted up the bread is preeeeety dry and bland. My go to sandwich, the bacon girl (avocado blt) has been loaded with inedibly fatty bacon and it doesn't help that it's all super cold. A WHOLE lot of lettuce on there though. It's pretty disheartening, rudis used to be a good spot for a decent (though expensive!) sandwich. As far as "Best sandwiches in town" goes, those are at my house and they aren't $14 a pop. read more

Fantastic sandwich shop. Very fresh, lots of signature items and the ability to create your own. They also have salads and wraps which haven't tried yet. Rudy's seems to be having consistency issues getting food out the window. The last two time this summer we had to wait 30+ minutes for our sandwich order after placing it at the restaurant. I'm not sure why there are bad reviews on here and I'm glad I didn't let them sway me. I was worried since some of the reviews basically made it sound like they serve tasteless food. I did not find that to be the case. I ordered the Rudi's Chef salad with honey mustard and Dijon vinaigrette. My husband ordered the Reuben. We both also ordered the broccoli cheddar soup. The servings are huge. The soup came with a little loaf of bread (delicious) and some butter, but I dipped it in my soup and it was glorious. My husband said his Reuben was "phenomenal." My salad was really good and the honey mustard was to die for. Don't know if it's made from scratch, but I don't care. The atmosphere was nice, clean and relaxed. The girl who took our order was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. read more

A nice place to stop for a quick lunch on the way out of town. They have enough options for everyone to be happy! Parking is only out front, plenty of seating for small groups. Waited for 45 minutes for 3 sandwiches only because come to find out 15 minutes in of waiting someone put in a "big" order 1 minute before us. I asked if we could move in front of them in the sandwich line and they said no. Never gave us a time frame only offered a refund so we could leave. No customer service. When I asked how are we going to make this right after waiting for 45 minutes the lady just walked away from me. Sandwiches are always great. Customer service is not common sense for them. I have food allergies and intolerances and opted to not go the pizza route the rest of my family voted on. Rudi's was very accommodating. Good COVID-19 precautions; it was the right mix of following CO protocol without making it uncomfortable for guests. Staff were welcoming and very efficient. Serving sizes are generous. I had my 3 yr old son with me and was too distracted to thoroughly read the menu, so I ordered the first thing that sounded good. I totally should have ordered the half size sandwich! The turkey avocado melt lives up to its reputation as a customer favorite. I ordered it on gluten free bread (tasty and a great texture) and no cheese (dairy allergy.). Why, because I asked for lots of veggies and was charged for lettuce (which was not on sandwich) charged for onion, charged for jalapenos, and charged for pickles. Here's what we ordered: Timberline turkey panini - roasted turkey breast, red pepper aioli, marinated artichoke hearts, fresh mozzarella ($8.50) Big sandwich!!! At first I was a little worried about the artichoke hearts. Sometimes they're a little too salty or vinegary for a sandwich. But this one was chock full of yummy tender artichoke hearts marinated perfectly and had a light but flavorful taste. The turkey was good, lean, moist and just right. And the mozzarella - I wasn't expecting real thick slices of fresh mozzarella on my sandwich!!! It was perfect, not overdone, just right. Poachers pastrami panini - lean pastrami, banana peppers, Swiss cheese, Dijon vinaigrette coleslaw ($8.50) The bf devoured his sandwich in about five minutes. Nuff said. I didn't get to try a bite but according to him it was really good and he would definitely order it again. He also really liked the pasta salad. It was simple, a little cheese, light vinegarette, tomatoes and kalmata olives - not too salty and just the right compliment to the sandwich. Overall, this place is great!!!
