    Mango Sago
    Jason U.

Stopped by Rui Tea and decided to try their Mango Sago drink since it looked refreshing and was one of their popular options. Overall, it was just okay -- not bad, but not something I'd go out of my way for again. The mango flavor was there but felt a bit artificial and bland, and the sago pearls were slightly uneven in texture. The presentation was nice and the drink looked appealing, but the overall taste didn't quite hit the mark compared to other mango-based drinks I've had elsewhere. The shop itself was clean and bright, and service was friendly and quick, so no complaints there. If you're nearby and craving something fruity, it's worth trying once, but for the price and taste, there are probably better mango drinks around.

Overall: F // 1 star HeyTea, but worse, and available in Jersey City, was my old opinion. Their mango drinks just have a worse command in picking sourcing ripe and sweet mangoes of the right softness; there is more filling in their drink that makes it more like a meal and less like a drink; and the slush is noticeably more icy and unrefined. On top of this, I stopped going a few months ago because one of the staff members dropped a huge stack of cups onto the ground, and then proceeded to restack them as if these are perfectly clean to use for the next drink. Incoming health hazard, thank you. Food: -1 Presentation: E Price: E Atmosphere: E Service: -2 Menu: E Overall: 1 star Insta/Yelp/Beli/TikTok: @amei_eats

The fruit tea here are fantastic! REAL fruit not one of those low quality powder chemicals. If you are into quality fruit tea this is the place!

Very cute storefront! Love how Rui Tea uses fresh fruits and has many non dairy options. I ordered the Black Grape Cheese, and it was very delicious and light! The service was extremely quick as well. Will definitely come back to try their other flavors!

Got a peach drink here - it was okay. The customer service was bad. My friend was trying to ask questions about drink options and the man working behind the counter just dismissed her and told her to use the kiosk to order. My friend had already checked the kiosk but the option to order a specific drink was not available. She tried to get his attention again but but he ignored her. The other friend I was with was actually trying to order a drink they had on the physical menu but did not show in the kiosk but again, he was just told to use the kiosk and that everything is there in a dismissive tone. If i had not ordered a drink already I would have just left. It would be understandable if they were extremely busy but there were only 2 other customers in the store.

This sparkling orange espresso drink is unreal. Amazingly delicious, perfect for summer and the espresso tastes incredible with the orange juice and sparkling magic that they make it with. I'm addicted! The self ordering tablets made the experience really easy. Service took a couple minutes but it was worth it. Will be back for sure.

Super Fruit and Thai Iced Tea

Stumbled upon this place after exploring another part of downtown Jersey City. Very cutesy and set up as a grab and go storefront. We tried the Thai iced tea and super fruit tea which were both very refreshing and amazing. They do let you adjust the sugar levels (I wish more places allowed this). You order on the kiosks they have set up but the turnaround time was quick. Check it out!

    Mango Bobo

Came to this place based on the reviews and I liked it. The man behind the counter was helpful in explaining their menu of drinks. I went with the special mango bobo and was very happy with the fresh mango chunks and the boba. It was a light, refreshing drink on a hot summer evening, which was exactly what I was craving! I will be back for more.

I was less than impressed with the tea shop in downtown Jersey City. It is more of a grab-and-go storefront as it is very long and narrow. There are a few chairs in the far corner, but most of the shop is dominated by the counter. They have self-service kiosks and do allow you to customize the amount of ice in your drink, but not the amount of sugar level. The crystal boba was cut into small cubes rather than round so it was not as easy to drink through the straw. I did like how the lids were the re-sealable kind. I got the Thai iced tea ($6.25) and was surprised at how small the regular/medium size order was. It is much smaller than the sizes in other shops in the area. About 20 minutes later, some sort of thin oily layer had begun to separate on the top of the drink. I've never had this happen before with bubble tea so am not sure if it was a problem with an ingredient gone bad or the mixing process or what it was.

    Cheese foam Mango Sago
    Jenny H.

So after a wonderful dinner I was looking for something sweet but not heavy. I found this place and immediately love the menu. All drink ingredients are fresh fruit or housemade with little syrup or powder stuff. Fresh taro & purple yam mixture for milk tea?!? Come on!! Upon entry, I noted that the place was clean and bright. Little quaint, tucked away around the corner of Provost Street. Immediately I was undecided due to too many choices I love. We were greeted immediately by the cashier/barista. She was helpful to answer our questions since it was our first time there. Since my friend never had real taro or purple yam, the cashier were generous and gave her tasting of both ingredients. She preferred people yam... Taro all the way for me. Lol I end up ordering the cheese foam mango sago (tapioca, not boba) slush with 70% sugar. In the mood for fruity. So.... Perfect amount of sugar with the savory from the cheese foam. Nice sips with bits of mango, sago, with the lightly tang foam all swirl in my mouth. Highly recommended. The place is small but since it's Monday night we were able to sit at a little booth table & high chairs and hung for about an hour. It's a take out/to go place but they also have outdoor seating that would be great on a warm afternoon. When I'm in Jersey City again, I'll make sure to stop by this place again for quality Asian bubble drink. Definitely going to have the taro milk with Boba next time. In also asking the staff team to consider an alternative milk just for indiviually like me... Maybe almond or soy? Come support this small business. Love them!

The watermelon slush is so good! I watched them mash up the watermelon on the spot. It's just the right amount of sweetness. I added boba in it of course. I want to try all their other slushes now!

Facing the blank door, I don't know what to put on. My brand told me that I can't use the name "Jasmine Milk White" anymore. And I haven't had time to think of a new name for myself. So, I put a question mark on it. This question mark is not a trademark or a brand. It is my only true expression at the moment: I don't understand. Why did the brand suddenly ask me to reduce 80% of the equity to 30% and transfer all the lease, control rights and employee management rights to them after we invested all our savings, signed a personal guarantee lease, and opened the store to the ceiling of New York? I refused. Then they cut off my goods, closed my store, closed my social media, and removed my takeaway platform. I don't understand. Why did I get a TRO in the state court? The court ordered them not to cut off the supply and close the store, but they could still go to the federal court to get another TRO and order me to remove all trademarks from the shelves within 48 hours? Two courts, two orders, and I was caught in the middle. I'm angry. But I can't roar in court. I can only hang this question mark on the door so that all passers-by can see: This store is going through something. I'm confused. I don't know what my store should be called tomorrow. I don't know how long the lawsuit will last. I don't know how long I can protect the most important things in my life when I sign a lease with a personal guarantee, more than 100 employees I employ, and my wife who is about to give birth. But I know one thing: I must continue to do business. My more than 100 employees are not the numbers in the eyes of the "other party's lawyers". They are ordinary people waiting for their wages to support their families. I continue to do business for them. My wife, she is a co-defendant in this case, and she is about to give birth to our child. She is under too much pressure. I must hold on, which is the best protection I can give her. The personal guarantee lease I signed is not a piece of paper. This is all my family. I can't close the store, I can't stop. If it stops, there will be nothing left. Judge, I'm not here to challenge your authority. I respect the court's order. I have covered the door with a wooden board, and I am already cooperating. I just kindly ask you to understand my situation and give me some time. Give me 30 days. I promise to complete the brand switch. I promise to turn this question mark into a real name. I promise that I will continue to obey all the orders of the court."
