This place is super cute, I love how the inside is decorated. The Aloha bowl was good, it was enough to feed two people. It was not as messy as I thought it was going to be. The fruit was fresh and everything tasted good. Sadly they were out of honey, but I substituted for agave. The açaí bowls do seem smaller than other açaí bowls from other places. I got the small Bob Marley which is the basic acai bowls with strawberries, bananas, blueberries, granola, and honey but this one also comes with pitaya which is the best of both worlds for people who can't decide on which one to get. The amount of fruits and granola was perfect. It complemented the acai well. They have my favorite kind of acai which is the sorbet. It tastes like an acai ice cream. I rather have this over the frozen blended kind because these don't melt as fast. Rum Jungle offers a lot of options of not just acai, but healthy food, smoothies, etc. It's a perfect to go to before going to the beach which I see a lot of people doing. They also have their famous Aloha bowl which is served in a pineapple! It looks super appetizing and yummy. I think you have to pay for parking because there's a meter that costs $3 per hour. Also ordered an Amazon Acai bowl and a smoothie. The sandwiches are pretty big, with generous servings of deli meat and veggies. Ingredients tasted cool and fresh. Perfect with a bag of chips, these sandwiches are satisfying. The Amazon Acai bowl includes frozen yogurt. The fruits were fresh, the bowl was sweet but not overpowering. They have a variety of acai bowls to choose from. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to taste the smoothie, but the hubby liked it. The employee wasn't wearing her mask until we got up to the counter. We ordered our bowls and a second employee came out maskless as well. He put it on BRIEFLY when he saw us, removed it again, then put it on again with his nose sticking out when we got a bit closer. The employee making our bowls had removed her mask again and was not wearing gloves - not at all what I want with covid happening!! Absolutely love this place and have been coming in for my fave acai bowl and power wrap for many years while in SD! The recent remodel looks fantastic but the food is the same deliciousness and really makes me happy while in town. Always greeted with friendly service that takes the time to make great good quickly .
