In my most recent visit I experienced the worst service I have ever had in Rumi's Kitchen. First, the dish I wanted was sold out and it was only 8pm. Then I ordered albaloo polo, à la carte koobideh kabob and Mast Khiyar. But my server forgot to place the order of the last dish. And it took over 40 minutes' wait to get my food. Worse, there was no diced cucumbers in the yogurt. Probably they mistook my order for Mast Musir which is yogurt with shallots. Worst of all, even if the restaurant says it accepts OpenTable dining credits, the dining credits actually could not be used in the restaurant! Or at least, the staff did not know how to use it. No apologies, no remedies. I was disappointed. For a reference, I dine in at Rumi's Kitchen (Colony Sq/Sandy Spring branch) at least twice a month.

Im a big fan of Persian food & so is my mom, it was a no brainer that we had to check out this place. Let's just say that Rumi's Kitchen exceded our expectations! Let's start of with how beautifully embellished the restaurant is. It's a refined fusion of modern elegance & old-world Persian heritage, that celebrates Persian hospitality & culture. You're greeted by the hostess that radiates warmth and geniality. Once seated you're gifted a complimentary starter Sabzi Plate that includes fresh herbs, feta cheese, walnuts, Castelvetrano olives, crunchy radish, and premium walnuts. It also comes with side of freshly baked Persian flatbread. We ordered a plethora of dishes. Our favorite plates were the hummus [we paired with the mushroom add on], lamb chops, and the Adas Polo rice. Trust me get the Adas Polo rice, it absolutely mouthwatering. As for beverages there is a variety of curated cocktails that we tasted but my top pick had to be the Tehran Mule! As for desserts our favorite was the Persian ice cream sandwich, it has unique flavors with rose being one of them. So good! For parking they offer a combination of valet services and validated garage parking depending on which location you go. The dress code is business casual. It's a perfect place for any accession, I definitely am planning on coming back to try more dishes. Take my word and come check it out! Your taste buds will thank you!

A Spectacular Dining Experience! The atmosphere, the service, and the food were all truly spectacular. Every part of the evening exceeded our expectations. The Chilean sea bass was cooked to absolute perfection--tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The grilled shrimp paired with the coconut rice was another standout, rich and satisfying without being heavy. From start to finish, it was an excellent dining experience. If you're anywhere in the Atlanta Metro area, I highly recommend making this a stop on your list. It's well worth.

Rumi's lives up to the hype! I've been to the Avalon location location, which is delicious but somehow the location in Sandy Springs is just better. We made reservations and were seating quickly on a Saturday. 10/10 hostesses and waitresses. The newly renovated interior looks outstanding. We were lucky enough to sit in the outer dining area (not actually outside) on a beautiful night. The sun setting a dimly lit table were very nice. If there is one thing I recommend it's the hummus with the mushrooms. It was DEVINE. I was actually shocked how something so simple could be so delicious. My friend got the salmon dish which was delicious. Much better salmon than you would receive anywhere else. I was in the mood for a stew so I got the duck fesenjoon. It was one of the greatest dishes I've tasted all year. It was the perfect balance of savory, sweet and sour with fall off the bone tender duck. Paired with the potato tahdig, I couldn't put my fork down. We left stuffed with left overs. I will definitely be back to get the hummus and explore other items on the menu! It's almost they can't do any dish wrong here.

Went here for the first time on Valentine's Day this year and had a really great experience. We had a 5 PM reservation and although there was a short wait, it was completely understandable since they were very busy that evening. We were seated on the patio, which was packed but still had a warm and pleasant atmosphere. Our server Jam provided outstanding service from start to finish. He was attentive, mindful of my dietary restrictions, and always made sure we had everything we needed, whether it was water refills or placing another order. He checked in on us several times without being overwhelming and truly made our special occasion feel even more special. The food was delicious. We ordered the mushroom hummus, yogurt duo, and the vegetable kebab, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The yogurt duo was my favorite. It was so good that we ended up ordering a second portion. The vegetable kebabs were not your typical boring vegetables. The grilled pineapple was such a pleasant surprise and added a really nice flavor that paired perfectly with the vegetables, rice, yogurt, and the sabzi they bring out at the beginning. The feta cheese tasted very fresh and light. We also got the flourless chocolate cake to go and were really impressed with how rich and flavorful it was, especially for a gluten free dessert. This is a great place for a date night, special occasion, or honestly anytime you want really good food. We will definitely be back.

This place is so good, excellent wine list !!! Update: they continue to delight all the senses with the food presentation and world class wine sections.

Amazing food and service ! The ambiance was incredible as well. I definitely recommend dining here. The beef kabobs were really flavorful and juicy! We got them cooked medium rare and we enjoyed it. The rice was pretty flavorful and we enjoyed the greens bean too. The eggplant dish was great! It paired very well with the bread. The service was incredible ! Our server was very attentive and came to refill our waters and change our plates. He even brought out a dessert as we were celebrating a birthday.

Awesome birthday celebration! We were a large party of almost 20. We were greeted upon arrival and then the manager came over to greet us and tell us a limitless about the dining experience we were about to have. We had a curated menu with several options for our 3 course meal -appetizers, entrees and desserts. Everything was delicious! Portions were generous and the experience was fantastic!

Taleah was our server. She's awesome. Great personality with excellent service . She explained everything and recommended a side which turned out delicious. The rice was heavenly. Atmosphere is very nice. Very romantic setting. There's valet too! I definitely recommend this restaurant at this location. I will definitely come back when i visit next in the spring/summer 2025.

Will they issue separate checks to a part of 3?

Best to let the server know ahead of time. I recall them splitting a check on a 3 person table (2 tabs).

    Do you need lunchtime reservations?

I highly recommended it, but I walked in before an early afternoon rush and grabbed a table outside. The two of us had a lovely late lunch/early dinner on a Saturday around 3ishpm

    Is the lunch menu discontinued?

There is no lunch specific menu.

Do they have any outdoor seating during Covid?

    Yes!

Are the kabobs and rice etc ordered to be shared? Meaning you order a variety and it can feed the table family style

Yes! There is a lot of food, but if you're really hungry you can probably eat it yourself and have leftovers!

We tried the La Piñata and the Smokey Old Fashioned, which arrived in a dramatic smoke dome--such a fun presentation. For our first bites, we ordered the Tostadas: handmade corn tostadas served with both red and green avocado sauces. They were fresh, vibrant, and a perfect start to the meal. Our main courses were equally impressive. The Short Rib with Mole Amarillo came with pickled habanero onions, rice, and plantains--rich, tender, and beautifully balanced. We also enjoyed the Arrachera, an outside skirt steak served with sautéed onions, chimichurri, rustic potatoes, and a bouquet salad. Every dish was plated beautifully and tasted exceptional. This is my second time here and both times have been so good. We came as a party of 3 and left so happy and full. I love Mexican food holy moly We got the queso and octopus shrimp ceviche as starters. The queso was 3 cheeses: American, cotija, and Oaxacan. They heated it up under a salamander so it was nice and crispy on top, while being gooey all throughout. Also came with a couple of nice salsas. The ceviche was not my favorite because I don't prefer raw(ish) octopus, but the squid ink sauce was very flavorful. For our mains the 3 of us shared the red snapper, tuetano with lamb, and the mixteco poblano pepper. Red snapper had a nice charred smoky flavor from being grilled. Was more meaty than flaky in texture. It was our second time getting the mixteco poblano pepper and it hits. Highly recommend eating with some of the salsa as well if you get queso. The duck carnitas in it wasn't particularly duck-y today, but still very good. Best dish is definitely the tuetano. The bone marrow is so incredibly flavorful with the blue corn tortillas. Add some of the pickled onions and it's hard to go wrong with that flavor combo of salt, fat, and acid. if you're going to order one thing, I'd order this and share with a friend and tbh it's enough to be filling. For dessert we got the volcan de chocolate (basically lava cake). The lava cake and coconut ice cream combo is fantastic. You get bits of coconut flakes as you eat! Fair warning it isn't the brownie texture you may be used to, it's a bit more cakey. Amazing service the whole night! Almost got our cars booted because we forgot to validate until 1.5 hours in but luckily we were fine. The staff let us know they have been booting cars though so be wary!

The service was actually pretty good and was fast so I didn't wait a whole long time to get my food and everybody was really cool and friendly. Brussel sprouts - The brussel sprouts were okay. They came temporary style so they were fried and battered. I'm pretty sure those are ranch dressing that went along with them, or maybe the sauce for the fries was that and sauce, I'm not sure. But they were okay. But I wouldn't rush back to them necessarily. Crispy chicken - The crispy chicken was decent. It came in very large chunks of chicken, kind of like smaller chicken tenders. Nothing out of the box though. They were only so seasoned, nothing got to make your mouth explode LOL Beef chashu bowl - This bowl was good. Kind of reminds me of that. I'm getting your beef kind of flavor. It's basically a rice bowl if you traded the ramen and the broth for rice. And you have that beef and the egg and a couple of other accompaniments, but it's really good or very far too. I kind of a brown sugar teriyaki kind of blend and if you want to know the flavor profile. Spicy chicken ramen - was good. I got it spicy but it's another level above that. If you want more heat. It comes with two chicken in it, and plenty of very good news. The broth is super savory and it will make you tingle a little bit LOL. French fries - The fries are shoestring fries and they're okay. They tell me the sauce. I'm not sure what it is though. But they are decent, nothing pretty out of the box. Even though it's a chain, the ramen is totally worth it.

They told us that we would have to show up and just wait to be seated... fine. No big deal, again we are a large group coming in HOT on the weekend... I get it. We call ahead again, closer to the time we were planning to arrive to double check. THIS TIME they said they could reserve us a space and that it wouldn't be a problem. We get there and everything is seemingly fine. The vibes are good and the waiters are taking orders diligently. We understand that this is a huge group (16 of us) and that we would have to be patient with them as they are with us. So everyone puts in there orders. First wave comes out... I noticed that all the food is cold. Not ideal but the food was good so whatever. Second wave comes out, again the food is cold and peoples orders are missing. Fine. We are a big group, it happens. 3rd wave comes and they are seemingly trying to land the plane with us, finalizing anything that may have been missed while also getting refills. One of my friends that was a part of that first wave was still waiting his burger that he ordered (he had informed them twice at this point). 45 mins later the waiter checks on us again... My friend still doesn't have his burger. Cool AGAIN this is a big group... It happens. My side of the table who got all their food are ready to play some games now. We go to the front counter and there is seemingly a good cop/bad cop routine going on. One host says we can rent a station the other says we can't unless all 16 of go to that station. I told him not everyone wants to play games so what if we just cash out now then the 4 of us that do can just play/sit at the station. "YOU CAN'T DO THAT ITS AGAINST THE POLICIES" O....kay... whatever don't take my money, I then tell him I'd like to cash out anyway. "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" I can't pay you now? "THE TAB CAN ONLY BE SPLIT 5 WAYS" Huh? So not only was this not brought to our attention beforehand but you want to be a jerk about it? There reason was because some people run out on the bill and things get missed. Meanwhile the entire table is sitting here with their cards out ready to pay you? Not to mention if something is missed thats on YOU as you are the person entering the stuff into the system. Mind you we still have folks that were missing food or order was taken only for it to be sitting under a heat lamp. After some back and forth we paid (which they REFUSED to give us an itemized receipt) only for a smug waiter to come out with the missing deserts with creepy smile to literally say to us "I hope you enjoy it..." Nope. Not eating that. Matter fact we will never eat here again. This has been a yearly tradition for some Dreamhack attendees and I can wholeheartedly say that I'll NEVER step foot in here again more will anyone I associate with. If I could give it a 0 I would.

Brewery #437…read more Mutation Brewing was an unassuming brewery in a cinderblock building but with a great outdoor area. They didn't have flights or at least weren't serving them that night. So, I got 2 different beers, and both were really good. Galactic Fuzz 5 and Sharks w/ Lazer Beams Attached to their Heads (what a great name!) with both delicious IPA's. So why only 3 stars? Well i ended up here on EDM night and I am a 50-year-old. I tried to escape the "boom boom boom", except they had speakers outside too, so I went on the roof top area, and they were setting a DJ up there too. Not my vibe at all. The beer was great; the vibe was shit. I like my beer without glowsticks and epileptic seizures. So if the vibe is for you, go and if it's not check their calendar.

This is a pretty dope brewery setup. I only say this because of the way the layout and setup is…read more It's a really nice place. Right off Roswell Road, you'll be able to come into the parking lot, and it's free parking and it's their own parking lot. It has multiple levels, so there is plenty of space to do a lot of things or bring large groups to it as well. The bar itself is pretty large, and it actually goes and extends on multiple sides, so the bar is basically double. If you go up to the top, there is a bar there, but the last time I was there it wasn't active. Honestly, the last time I went, I went to get some hot chicken because they have a Nashville hot chicken spot in there. That was my primary reason, but it's still a really good place to go if you want a brew.
