First time here. Our server was Hailey. Outstanding. She made great suggestions, her timing was perfect. Friendly, and knowledgeable. Was here to celebrate some Anniversary's. The food was amazing Give this place a try if you visit The Cape. We sat outdoors with great views. They had live music.

From parking to dining everything was excellent. Hostess greeted us upon arrival; she was kind & courteous. We asked for a water view with partial shade & she seated us at a table that exceeded our expectations. We loved our view of the canal with passing boats and dolphins swimming nearby. Our server, Vicky was gracious, attentive and provided excellent service. Everyone's food was delicious; we had no complaints. I loved the sushi; flavorful & nice portion.

Understaffed at best. Negligent at worst. We were told this was a great place to go so we made a dinner reservation for our group. Fridays are busy in the winter. I completely get that. It took us 10 minutes to be greeted and another 10 for us to get drinks. Dinner took another 45. Unfortunately, most of it was overcooked or underwhelming. The tuna poke bowl was a delicious exception. You could tell staff were trying their best but were stressed and stretched way too thin. That creeped into the service and demeanor. The real kicker was when the toddler was served a vodka water. Yep, you read that right. Instead of a water, the toddler got one with a shot of vodka. We quickly figured it out and told the server but it seemed to be more of an inconvenience than anything. This place has so much potential but I don't see us coming back again.

Stopped for late lunch yesterday and really enjoyed it. Grouper sandwich and cocktail was delicious. Doesn't disappoint!

    Rumrunner with a floater

The drinks are great, as expected. I got a rumrunner with a floater. Another friend got the "Miami Vice," super yummy. The menu was great. Big variety of food to please everyone. Everyone liked what they got. Our server was a young girl, and I am sad I can't remember her name, because she was amazing. The ambiance on the water was lovely.

This was my first time at Rumrunners for dinner and it was delicious! We got one pound of cold peel and eat shrimp. They were definitely the best peel and eat shrimp I've ever had!! They were very large shrimp, served on ice, and tasted so fresh! We will definitely be getting these again. We sat outside and it was very nice. After sunset, it got very buggy and our waitress accommodated us and moved us inside. The service was excellent! For my entree, I got the seafood mac and cheese, which was full of shrimp and scallops. I would definitely get this again. It was very tasty. The sauce isn't a typical cheesy Mac and cheese sauce, and it compliments the seafood very well. Someone I was with got the salmon. It came with rice, beans, and plantains. They also raved about their meal. Excellent food, service, and beautiful place. We will be back!

Jamie was great. She made lunch fun! She's very entertaining and enthusiastic! We almost forgot that we were there to eat!! (App won't let me select service and ambiance)

Nice "boathouse" vibe, on the river. Very nice views. Family friendly restaurant, and even has a big sandbox outside. There were 4 of us dining, and all ordered different things. Wife ordered seafood pot pie. She said it was amazing. I ordered the French onion soup, and slow cooked beef short ribs. They were both done to perfrction, and full of flavor. Cousins ordered airline chicken, and Moho salmon. Again, both raved about the meal. We truly enjoyed the meal. Our server was Haley. She is very friendly and professional. She explained everything we asked with great detail. We would definitely return, and we'd even ask to be seated where she was. I highly recommend this one.

Came in for 1 quick drink at 4:30 and wanted to sit outside. There were at least 20 empty tables, but we were forced to sit inside sandwiched between two tables because the ones outside "all have reservations and they might come an hour early." Obviously by the time we had our 1 drink and left at 5, the vast majority, if not more, outside tables were open. Horrible customer service and lack of foresight on their part.

    Very refreshing & yummy Rumrunner

Definitely not bad, but the broth was lacking a little in flavor, so I probably wouldn't order it again. For the table, we got the shrimp tacos, Gouda Mac, and Poultrygeist. The shrimp tacos and Gouda Mac were definitely the standouts--both were great! The Poultrygeist was good overall and had great flavor, but the chicken itself was a little underwhelming. The aioli, though, was absolutely yummy! I'd highly recommend asking for extra on the side because it really made the dish. The portions were a good size, too. We all ended up having leftovers, which is always a plus! Service was great throughout the meal. Our drinks were constantly being refilled, and the staff was attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere had a fun sports bar vibe, but it was still relaxed enough that we could easily talk and catch up. Overall, a solid spot for a casual dinner with friends!

Mission accomplished. Lighthouse Waterfront is huge with a big dining rm on one side and another section closer to the left overlooking the outdoor deck sitting right on the water. If you're chasing sunset vibes, this deck is where it's at. We started with a dozen meaty oysters and a hot crab dip with crispy wontons to dip. For our main plates, hubs ordered the thick-cut bone-in pork chop and loved it while I went with the seasoned grilled swordfish. I had the Dubai Chocolate cocktail and I'll give them props for that pistachio rim and the dark chocolate drizzle.....that Hershey's syrup crap. The only downside was it could've packed a punch. But then again- between my recent trip to Miami/Ft Lauderdale and now Sanibel...I haven't had a drink that would know the shit out me here. No offense. Anyhow, to wrap things up, we shared a slice of key lime pie. That's basically mandatory when you're down here. It was good, but honestly, the real treat was watching that Sanibel sunset. Service was ok- I just wished our young server was more present. On the plus side, when he'd showed up, he made sure to help at any given moment. We finished dinner, headed out to the deck and soaked in every second of the sunset before making our way to catch the fireworks elsewhere.

Where to start. 1)Our servers were amazing. 2) Drinks - pathetic. $16.00 for a lime martini that tasted like a melted popsicle and was a total of 6 oz. Tasted no alcohol. 3) crab dip a 3 inch skillet of carb dip with 10 small pita chips. No taste at all and $19.00. 4) shrimp with garlic and butter over linguini - it was basically pho soup. $28.00. 5) and the best of all. Lobster Mac n cheese. It was macaroni with (I kid you not) seafood bisque over top and a small ramekin of Parmesan cheese $50.00. The man playing music (nice island vibe) in the corner was so loud I could not hear my husband across the table. In fact most asked to move to the other side but it was closed off or outside because it was so loud. Did I mention it was 95 degrees. 5 or so parties were seated after us, and while we were not at all in a hurry, every one of them received their meals prior to us and left before we received our food. Our server felt bad so she offered us some bread for the extra wait. (Shouldn't that be standard). We didn't complain and paid the over $150.00 bill plus a nice tip and the 3% charge for using a card. No manager came to ask how the meal was and at this point we were over it. Asked for a take home box and left. I can also tell you the menu was extremely limited. No crab dishes, no scallop dishes? A seafood restaurant not anymore? What happened? New management, owners? And yes we've been there since IAN so can't blame the hurricane. We will only visit Lobster Lady from now on. I sound like I just want to complain but I don't. I know it's off season and don't ever expect perfection. This was worse than horrible. Beware. It's not what it once was. Sadly! Sorry no pictures mostly out of shock but the water feature that used to be so picturesque outside was green algae.

Dressed as a mini version of a Bahama Breeze restaurant, 57 hits on all cylinders. From scrumptious food, tasty drinks to staff that actually provides service that's "just right." Observant, friendly, fun, welcoming and attentive. My wife and I had the $20 Cape Royal Burger. A delicious 1/2 lb. Black Angus beef, with American cheese, lettuce, pickles, and an included order of P57 fries which are fantastic! One of our friends enjoyed the $20 Grilled Shrimp Tacos which included 3 tortillas, with all the fixings and an order of the P57 fries. She liked it. Her husband started with an order of $22 Maryland Crab Cakes..FULL of crab! He loved them and followed with Shrimp and Pasta ($Unknown), ate it all, said it was great and was impressed with the bread. "It looked hard, but was nice and soft." Authors note: This was our first visit to Point 57, we had glanced at the lunch menu on-line. Both our friends and ourselves had a bit of sticker shock when we sat down and saw the menu Dinner prices. That is NOT a negative, it's a notification. The one big "REALLY!?" for me was the $27 "Starter" Lobster Mac and Cheese. It's a dish I've enjoyed at many great restaurants and had to pass because of the price. With that said, the food quality and service MATCH the price. And I highly recommend Point 57.

Turns out they have an incredible happy hour, but we were truly interested in dinner... So we asked for a table. The interior at Stone Throw is beautiful, well decorated, and in a great location on Cape Coral Parkway with ample parking. Our waiter, Shawn, was quick to greet us and offer drinks. Husband had some beer questions, and Shawn was ready with answers/suggestions. Being a red wine girl, I happily ordered a bottle from their ample list. We started with an appetizer of brussels sprouts. They were absolutely amazing with pecans... Not something we have had before. Highly recommend. I opted for their prime fillet, Husband had steak Diane. I cannot say enough good about these steaks. We've been to some of the best stake establishments from Naples to Punta Gorda, this ranks right up there! I did get the lobster tail add on, it was the most flavorful lobster tail I ever had in southwest Florida. Overall, one of the better meals we have had in our years of living in SWFL. Shawn kept our drinks (and waters) full, and was absolutely charming during our entire experience. He was always watching and nearby, but not obtrusive. He packed our leftovers for us, and then bagged the containers. Great touch, Shawn! Kudos to the manager who walks around to tables and asks about your meal, what brings you in, and if there's anything he can do to make your trip more enjoyable. Fabulous touch! The place was beautifully decorated, and there was live music, saxophone player which definitely added to the vibe. We were seated outside, likely due to how busy it was. There was also a large wedding party, maybe 15 people or more, taking up a section outside. Our server was managing both that party and our table, and while he was friendly and clearly doing his best, the service just didn't land. It took a while for things to get moving. He brought the menus, but it was a long time before he returned. Drinks took over 20 minutes to come out. Bread came after the drinks, but with no plates or silverware, so we had to eat it with our hands. Not ideal. That said, the espresso martini was excellent--no complaints there. When the food came out, the presentation was beautiful, and everything tasted fresh and well-executed. That part of the meal definitely hit the mark. But then it took just as long to get the check, and by that point, the waiting added up. One small but noticeable issue was the smell of the table and menus--it gave off that old rag scent, which pulled me out of the otherwise upscale experience. I think this place has a lot of potential. The atmosphere is great, the food is solid, and the concept is there. But based on this visit, I would like to see sharper execution on the service side before I'd give it a higher rating. I will return.
