The nachos here are usually delicious but this last time they were loaded with so much salt they were barely edible. we let our server know and she pretty much said thanks for the feedback. we were not offered to be credited or get a new one despite the visible salt on half of our nachos. our burger had so much oil that it had all of us going to the bathroom with diarrhea within the hour. they made a family of four literally sick to our stomachs. read more

Excellent service and food! The outdoor seating is comfortable and dog friendly. The prices are a little on the higher end, especially for the drinks. The nachos were outstanding! Thin chips, tons of flavorful cheese, and all the nacho fixings. We split the Juicy Lucy. The beef was indeed juicy, simply flavored, and perfectly cooked. We also tried the wild mushroom pizza. I recently came to dinner here with four other adults and an infant. The space is nice, kind of dark, and cozy. Gives British tavern vibes! The service was fantastic. I ordered the house margarita and it was delicious. They seem to have daily specials, a staple cocktail menu, and plenty of draft beers. The menu had PLENTY of options. I ended up choosing the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken was double fried, and while I did not think of it much at the time, it really didn't settle well after a while because I'm not used to eating that heavy of fried foods. Traveling for a wedding we came here for lunch after our flight in on a Friday afternoon. It's conveniently located within walking distance to the hotel (the front desk concierge girl recommended this place without hesitation). It's a typical American chain restaurant vibe inside. Tvs speckled throughout the area though we were seated by the front door even though it was a chilly day. The food came out quickly as it wasn't very busy inside. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was perfectly crispy and huge! It's pounced thin but you can see the size comparison to the bun. I shamefully ate the entire thing. We sure do like the Bucket for lunch. Quiet location, great menu, super service and good food. Do like you you can arrange by item, like soup, salad, sandwich in various ways. Love their onion soup, that they make the right way by simmering down the onions until they are mush, them putting them into a nice broth and lots of melted cheese. Did talk with the chef and that is how I know this. Taste will prove it. Specials are available. There is outside, covered, seating that is great in mild weather. This place was awesome. Great service, fast, friendly and super clean. I came during peak lunch hours since it is right across the street from my job. Even though they are short staffed, I was immediately seated at the bar by choice. the staff worked as a team and my drink and food order were taken in a timely manner. I never felt I was waiting around for long. I ended up doing a simple salad and soup duo. The salad was super fresh and made to order. The French onion soup was hot and fresh. Went on a Friday and they have half priced appetizers! We got a whole array of food. Queso dip, nachos, Brussels sprouts, chicken tenders, fried pickles, fries and pizzas. It was all soooo good. There were 14 of us so we just spread it all out and it was plenty of food. We sat outside. We had an umbrella above our table and it was perfect, no issues with bugs! Our waiters were attentive and checked on us periodically. There isn't parking outside the reataraunt but there are a couple parking decks in the complex with plenty of parking to choose from. read more

I've never given this low of a review, but I wasn't impressed at all and didn't even eat a thing. I went here with a couple of friends (party of three) and overheard the hostess telling someone on the phone that a reservation wasn't needed, and the restaurant was quite empty (Wednesday night). We were seated, and waited for around 15 minutes and nobody came to take our drink orders within that time. As we went to get up and leave, the hostess saw us and didn't say a word. Maybe they were busier than they appeared, but I was at least expecting to get some water by that point. Edit: after reading other reviews, this looks like a common experience at this restaurant. Be aware if you're planning to dine here that the wait staff aren't very attentive, even if they're walking all around you. read more

I enjoyed my latest visit to the Rusty Bucket. We sat on the patio - a lovely day. Dog friends were in attendance. Our server was very pleasant. My friend had the Ruben which she gave high marks to. I usually order the cheeseburger and did again this time. But I don't feel it was quite as good as in the past. The hamburger itself seemed to be overly processed and therefore somewhat dry and a bit tough. It also was not very well seasoned. So four stars for the visit but by itself I'd say three stars for the food. read more

Love Rusty Bucket! Parking can be kind of a pain but once you figure that out you will be happy once you get inside. They have an outdoor patio, lots of indoor space, bar seating, and even a private room for groups. The service here is fantastic, Mark and Chris are amazing and know what they are doing with this place! Drinks are great and all of the food I have tried has been good. My favorite is the nachos. The amount of cheese they put on them is ridiculous and I am here for it! Great overall spot for food and drinks. read more

This is a casual Spot. It serves American food. They have parking lot in the shared deck. They offer indoor as well as outdoor seating. The staff were nice when I arrived it the server was okay. The decor is basic. The best thing is the location as it's a good location to grab a bite after shopping or getting your nails done, etc. the prices are average. The food came out quick. Hope they can be more than okay...it seems like regulars come here. I ate out door and there was no menu you have to use a scanning code to see the menu from your phone. Extremely clean, all staff was wearing masks properly. Condiments and kids drinks were served in single use containers. Now, onto the stuff y'all really want to know. The drink I had, the Blueberry Bella, was amazing. The scent and taste had me asking for another! Wings (I'm always disappointed these days but not this time) and fried pickles were excellent. My husband's only complaint was that there was so much meat on his Philly that he could barely eat it properly. We come here often and the service and food are always great. The one thing that just kills the experience is the warm draft beer. They also don't use cold glasses so the beer is noticeably warm. This has been happening for a few years now. We have asked a few times why it's warm and they seem like they know it's an issue but it never gets fixed. read more

For how many times I've been here it's really a shame that I haven't reviewed it yet. This has been a go-to for my girlfriend and I on those Friday evening end-of-a-rough-week outings. There's nothing particularly special about it really other than convenience, beer and a friendly, easygoing atmosphere. The menu is extensive with primarily bar food. Lots of sandwiches and burgers but a few entrees too. I have always loved the codwich. My girlfriend craves the pepperoni and banana pepper pizza. But make sure you specify that you want the banana pepper rings and not the Hungarian death peppers that could surprise you on this thing. The beer selection is great and plentiful with lots of truly local options (not just OMB). They even have a specific gluten-free menu if you ask for it - kinda unexpected honestly. And if you're looking for a gluten-sensitive beer you might check out the offerings from Wooden Robot. I hear most of their stuff is gluten sensitive. Prices really aren't bad here. Comparable to quality and service. Which, by the way, service has always been great. There's one guy who hasn't served us since our first visit but remembers our faces every time we come in. As usual, we will be back when stress gets the better of us. read more

I wasn't a fan of the items ordered. I tried the plant based burger, bread pudding, double stacked quesadillas, and fish n chips. My burger was over cooked - tasted a little burnt and smelled burnt, but not like a good smoky smell. The quesadillas also had a burnt taste, maybe the grill just needed to be cleaned. I don't know... The Sticky Bun Bread Pudding sounds amazing, but left me craving the bread pudding from Bricktops. The caramel candied pecan topping was good though. I think I wanted more cinnamon and sweetness overall. The chicken inside of the quesadillas was not seasoned well enough to be called blackened. All of the seasoning was sprinkled on top of the grilled quesadilla and tasted like Lawry's. Thumbs down! The fries were good and those had a nice flavor. The Fish n Chips consisted of 2 pieces of beer battered cod - way too oily, but it is battered. That wasn't too bad, just too oily. I don't think I'll be ordering any more food from this spot, although you may find something that suits your palate. read more

Rusty bucket is literally just OK. The food is nothing to write home about and that's not just because my parents live right around the corner. (that's right, I have lots of bad jokes.) I've been here a handful of time to watch football games with friends at the bar. During this particular visit I had the watery french onion soup and dry overcooked buffalo chicken sandwich. I was so disappointed. I LOVE french onion soup and love to order it when I'm out to save me the time of having to make it at home. This version of french onion soup was extremely watery and was missing the key ingredient of the french onion soup, THE ONIONS! The buffalo chicken sandwich was extremely dry and tasted like it had been double fried. Even adding ranch dressing didn't save this sandwich! I really enjoy the close proximity of Rusty Bucket to my house so I'll be back during football season to give them another whirl. They are always busy so maybe I just made bad choices when ordering. This place is solid. The staff is very nice, but they don't hover or overdo the check-ins which I and nearly everyone I know in my age range greatly appreciates. I dont wanna have to tell someone I'm okay every 4 minutes for my entire meal. But if you do, then you're gonna be disappointed. Is some of the food gonna be a little greasy? Maybe. but I mean... they serve bar food. half of it is deep fried so of course theres some oil on your plate folks. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that (like most bars and restaurants in this city) the beer list favors IPAs way too much. Not everyone likes IPAs, and some folks like me would rather skin myself alive than drink one. So maybe throw some nice sours or something on there every once in a while. read more

Been here a couple of times, most recently on Sunday early afternoon for brunch and a Panthers game. We sat at the bar and there was definitely a "usual crowd" with the staff and patrons knowing each other, which was nice. Brunch includes donut holes and those were on fluffy and warm and yummy. I had the breakfast burrito that came with potatoes and it was good and huge! My friend got the breakfast sandwich was good-- it looked real good!
