Food: 5/5 Service: 3/5 Drinks: 4/5 I saw an ad for this seafood spot on Instagram and shared it with a friend, so we decided to check it out this weekend. My first impression was how beautiful the restaurant is; the ambiance is upscale, the aesthetics are really nice, and everything (including the bathrooms) was very clean. We ordered crab legs and shrimp and decided to mix all of the available seasonings with a medium spice level. Fair warning: medium was very spicy. If you're planning to combine all the seasonings, I'd recommend ordering mild instead. If you're especially sensitive to spice, you may even want to skip the lemon pepper. Unlike other places that offer preset combos,you build your own seafood boil by choosing your seafood individually and going from there. The seafood itself was excellent; incredibly well seasoned, and that's what really stood out to me. We also ordered the beignets for dessert, and they tasted very authentic. I would absolutely order them again. The drinks were also very well made, although I guess the ones I ordered were on the smaller side. The only downside was the service. We were there for almost two hours, largely because everything took a long time to get to our table. Our drinks were slow to arrive, and our server didn't check on us very often. After eating and then waiting for our server, we asked another server for a to-go box and the bill because we didn't want to have to continue waiting for service. I'm not sure if that was just our particular experience or if that's typical, but it's something to keep in mind if you're dining on a schedule. Overall, the quality of the food easily outweighed the slower service. I would definitely come back for the seafood, and next time I'll know to order the seasoning a little differently. read more

Never heard of this chain before. We tried them out in the days before the grand opening and just after they got their beverage license in place. My coworker and I ordered mixed platters. He went with the fried version. I had the fried rice, 4 piece tilapia and shrimp. Everything was really good and far too much food. My friend barely ate half his plate and an employee actually approached and asked if there was anything wrong. Nothing at all actually, except it was twice as much food as he needed that night. We went here for the first time to celebrate hubby's birthday and we weren't disappointed! Plenty of easy parking and fresh new interiors. Neon lights and wall art have a very Vegas feel. Our server Liss was very cheerful, friendly and attentive. Restaurant staff brought our a bday cake and sang birthday to make him special. We got their combo platter for $158.00 which had crabs. When we found out the king crab was $99 and decided to change our order, she rolled her eyes at us. Also, the pricing should really be listed clearly on the main menu instead of a separate one. First of all, the service was absolutely fine. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and ready to serve. We ordered the mozzarella sticks (I know, don't come at me - we realize we were at a seafood restaurant). However, they were probably the cheapest you could get from restaurant supply. Even the ones at Costco are better than these. We also got the catfish platter. It was honestly the most underwhelming catfish I've ever had. There was absolutely no flavor in the batter. The store bought batter has more flavor than they did. The second worst part of the platter were the hush puppies. Also exceptionally unflavored, and it looks like they used a teaspoon size cookie scoop for the size of them. They were very small. The French fries were the most redeeming part but they still needed salt, which was not available on the table. We will likely not be back. You only get one chance at a first impression. As a brand new place, we appreciate working out kinks, but that's usually with service not flavor. read more

My husband got the seafood boil with 1lb of snow crab (they threw in a free 1/2lb of shrimp since they are still new) and I got the fried catfish basket. Both entrees were really good and tasted like it was actually cooked in house and not just bought pre-fried/boiled. We got the Calamari as an appetizer and it was probably the best I've ever had, the pieces were big and juicy. It was surprisingly affordable, our total was around $80. The inside looked modern with lots of fun signs on the walls and it looked very clean. The staff was very nice as well, our server, Abby was great!
