Needless to say there are plenty of places to buy an Rv. We have been RV owners for 35 years and have had many over the years. When we decided to buy a new trailer in September 2016, my husband felt strongly about keeping the business local so we agreed on a 2017 rig at RVs4Less. NEVER, EVER have we received such awful customer service from day one. There were red flags from the beginning as we look back. Things that never felt right. We should have walked but we didn't. We figured that since we purchased a brand new rig we wouldn't need or have worries with warrenties. The first time we used our awning after owning the trailer for only 2 months we noticed 3 small holes in the fabric. Large enough to be an issue. This began our first service issue. It took us 6 months of fighting for what we were owed to finally get the awning replaced. We were ignored, disrespected and lied to time and time again. The owner wouldn't even talk to us even though we saw him on site. When it was finally agreed that it needed to be replaced the manager (owners daughter) said "If we take care of this for you, we need you to give us a positive review on the yelp." Um no! When we picked up the trailer and took it camping we realized that someone on the lot had used the toilet. It was full of _ _ _ _ and clogged. We called immediately and were told "oh we ask our employees not to do that" What????? Fast forward 2 years. We called for yet another appointment for more warrenty issues. We were hopeful that since it was under new management things would be better. We had an appointment and my husband told the service manager it was all warrenty work. They set a date for us to bring it in. Two days later we get a call telling us "oh we stopped selling that brand a year or two ago so we don't do warrenty work on them. You need to come and get it." What the hell??? You sold us a brand new rig.and bragged about your service. You told us very very clearly that we could bring any warrenty or extended warrenty work to you whenever we needed! Now, it's no longer convenient for you?? You never even notified us of this change in warrenty policies. We had a list of 6 things that needed attention but rvs 4less wanted to tow it to Fresno to have the work done. We bought local and expect local service. Good customer service would have said, "Let's take care of these small things for you this time since you purchased from us and you were never notified, but next time you'll know to go to Fresno." My husband has asked for two days to speak with the owner. No call yet. He went in person to talk to the service manager and got the same story. The service manager moved our trailer out to the shoulder of Hwy41 for my husband to hook up (rather than allowing him to hook up in the lot) and this put him in a dangerous situation. The trailer was so close to the highway that he had to pull onto the hwy to back up. Just another example in our eyes of the lack of respect for their customers. We STRONGLY Suggest that you drive the extra miles to save yourself the same aggravation. read more

Once you're sold, they are different. No warranty issues were ever addressed. We have a 5th wheel with a shattered cap from them wrecking it - which was not disclosed before we signed the papers and was hidden under stickers - a microwave that was never fixed and a dented fridge they promised to fix. We bought here because they promised to make it right. Trust me when I say the minute you leave their lot, they're done with you. So much for gaining repeat customers. Stay away from this place if you want a nice vacation We planned our trip 4 months in advance so things would go smoothly...this did not happen since they sold the RV we planned on renting a week before 4th of July we called with a question and this is how we found out-they did not even have the decency.to call and tell us. The only vehicle they could rent us slept one not 6 ..we had no choice since anywhere in the area to 200 miles had nothing available., so we had to take it. What a mistake, it was old and was not in the shape that was on their website...the Rv had problems during the entire trip and cos t us $300 in mechanical fees on the road. They should have refunded money for most of the vacation but since we took it for the week (our campsite was way up in Northernn Ca) they considered it our fault??? HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Due to their mistakes, they owe me $ and also refuse to send me a detailed itemized invoice of my final purchase. Even with1 month's notice of exactly when I would be there to pick it up, my RV was not ready to go. Paperwork was not ready. I was promised ( more than once) an AZ licence and registration that I did not get, I found out the hard way they did not install my hitch properly and I had to pay another dealer to fix it later ( was back in AZ by then ), Danielle did not turn in my warranty paperwork in a timely manner which resulted in my having to pay for a road-damaged tire. Phone messages and emails were ignored and went unanswered. Once they have your money, they want nothing to do with you! Good customer service means nothing to these people! I had a great experience with RVs for Less. I worked with Danielle throughout the sales process. She answered all of my questions and was very responsive. She worked with me to be able to walk through and pick up the RV on the same day as the sale since we were coming from a long distance. Once we were on site, Dan and Jeremiah were great in making sure that we were always helped and thoroughly explained the details of the trailer. WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.....HANDS DOWN!!!! RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!!! My family and I paid over $4,500.00 to rent an RV from this place for two weeks. We drove from Madera, CA to Marianna, FL. The RV fell apart, drawers fell out, generator quit, AC did not work, plumbing failed, no clean water to use. TERRIBLE. I called the service department, spoke with Josh and Jeremiah. They told me the generator has a carburetor issue. I asked for repairs. They had me pull over in Houston, TX. Repairs came to $207 (because gen was out of oil!!!!!!!) Guess these idiots forgot to check that before I left....Anyway, guess who paid for the repair? ME. When I returned the RV, they refunded me $15 for the repairs. I paid over $200!!! Worst customer service, repair crew/mechanics are total goobers, don't buy or rent from here. They are crooks!!!!!!! My review is on the rental side of this business. Rented a trailer a couple weeks ago. It was a nice trailer. The process was ok... still waiting on my deposit. Been getting the run around about it. Don't let them tell you about using their insurance as well. USAA gave them my coverage info and they still claim it wasn't covered. Anyways, week two and I'm still waiting for my 650 bucks. Was told about 3 times it's being "returned". Already have a case open with capitol one. Wouldn't rent from them again or buy for that matter. read more

I never write reviews - but have to this time. I bought a trailer from them 2 years ago. I broke a part - not a warranted issue - and called to see if I could bring it in to get it fixed. After 4 phone calls, I finally spoke with the service guy. He asked if it was warranty repair, and I told him "no." He said he was at the Clovis store, and he would have to check when he got back to Madera to see if he had the part, and if not he would order it and then make an appointment. Well... In the middle of next week, I called. They will leave a message for him to call. The next day, I called, "Yes, we still have your message, he'll call you." Next week, I called on Monday, "Service is only here Tuesdays through Fridays, but I can leave a message and have him call you." Thursday, called back and spoke to the original guy, "Let me take your name and number, and I will have him call you." Same thing last week, and this week I finally got to call today (in week 4 now). The guy who twice had promised to have the service guy call me answered. Recognizing his voice, I tried to relay to him this above history, "If you are going to be irate, I will just hang up!" Wait! I wasn't irate - I can get irate, but this wasn't it... anyway... I explained that I am just trying to get my trailer fixed at my local dealer that I did business with because I like to support local businesses (instead of getting a better quality trailer from a reputable dealer for the same or better price). He says, "well, I will have to interrupt the service guy who is dealing with another customer." He gets back on and tells me, "the service guy didn't order the plug, and we don't do non-warranty work." WWWWHHHHHHHAAAAAAATTTTTTTT????????? Now I am irate. Tell me that 4 weeks ago. WTF? Do not do business with any dealer who is not able or willing to repair your item (even after warranty). There was so many stupid things that went on when I purchased, and the one time I had a warranty issue - but I just let it go because I wanted to support my local business. DO NOT BUY HERE! There were some kinks in the deal (like many multi party transactions) and Dan bent over backwards to make sure all parties were satisfied. Exclllent business man. Worst experience of my life! We bought a trailer from them a year ago and decided to consign it with them as a rental. This company is so unorganized its ridiculous. During the last year, the consignment checks were never on time. They never included the amount of days it rented for during each month, and they never informed us of any thing that they fixed. When we went to pick it up, we would find things that weren't the same and inform them of it and that was when they said they would fix it. They charged the people who rented our trailer money to fix it, and then they don't fix it. They just rent it out to you next person who is willing to do business with them. All the while the renter is getting charged and the owner of the trailer is getting screwed. The owner of RVS4less is a hot headed person who tries to pacify people instead of fixing the problem. While I was trying to fix the problem, he got an inch from my nose and demanded I leave his property. I have never been treated so badly and I have never been told to get off someone's property. I have been trying to get information from this company for the past year that is required for taxes and I have never been helped. I will never do business with this man or company again. I purchased a travel trailer from them to tow with my vehicle. I asked several employees if they were sure I could tow the trailer and was told yes by all. They sold us and hooked up the tow bar to our vehicle. It took another dealer to educate me on why I was towing this trailer illegally and when I called the purchasing dealer, my nightmare started. It took almost a month to get it all reversed and it was not because they followed up, I had to do all the following up. I spent my whole vacation fighting to get this transaction reversed. Thankfully it is all reversed now but I really lost enjoying my vacation and a lot of frustration in the process. read more

If I could give these people a negative 5 stars I would. Horrible customer service and totally got screwed with the old switch a roo on us. Went looked at a trailer and picked it out. Went back the next day to sign papers and didn't bother double checking to see exactly if that was the trailer( gave them too much trust). Went a week later since the sway bar package was being installed which took way longer than was said. And much to our surprise was a different trailer we were doing a walk through for. Was then told there was no such trailer that we were thinking we walked through originally. Walked away with our trailer we knew was not the one. Next day seen the trailer we knew we walked through on their website for the exact same price we paid for the smaller trailer. Don't buy anything from these people. For all the 1 star reviews, all I can say is DITTO!! We bought our 2018 Coachman Catalina in May 2018 and cannot get any warranty work completed. We have had 5 service/warranty employees try to help us over the year, (all of whom are no longer employed there) but apparently the owner prevents them from completing the repairs. I have called 4 times in 2 weeks to be told the warranty guy only works through email. Really, that's quite business like?? I spoke to the warranty guy twice on July 5th, very nice guy! But now the owner who answers the phone is extremely rude and will not assist in getting me in contract with the very nice warranty guy. I'm going to turn my excel spreadsheet of calls and repairs directly over to the warranty company and the BBB. Anyone want to picket? Just kidding..... read more

We reserved an RV for our camping trip to the mountains for 4 people. When we called to confirm this rental 3 days before we were to rent, we were told that the RV we rented was sold and that there was a comparable RV for us to use instead. There was never any attempt to contact us regarding the sale of the RV we rented. We showed up to a much smaller RV that slept 2 instead of 4 and were told this was the only option for us to rent. This RV was not well maintained, the carpet was filthy, chairs ripped and the 1 queen size bed that we were told was in RV was actually a twin size. The awning was jammed and unusable... Something one would usually rely upon when camping. There were never any offers to compensate us for the lousy service or conditions of the RV. The bottom line is I would never use this company again. The prices are a little less but not worth what you have to put up with. read more

What kept me from giving 5 stars was that during our final walk through for delivery, Jeremiah (who did a great job) kept being interrupted and told he had customers waiting. STAY CLEAR OF HERE. THIS A VERY BAD PLACE THEY OWE US MONEY AND WILL NOT PAY,, When we were on the lot and did the walk through with your mechanic he told us he had checked the roof and it looked fine,( AND HE SAID IT DOES NOT LEAK) all we should do would be to put some UV protectant on it. He also told us that there were no signs of water leakage inside. Upon the advice from your mechanic we brought the trailer to the camping world dealership near our residence immediately to have the UV protectant applied. When their representative climbed the ladder he immediately found it to be loose so he checked inside and found water stains in the ceiling under the ladder and signs of leakage in the front two corners. He stated we needed to repair the roof before any further water damage occurred from the leakage in the rear and also in the front. After being shown by a trusted professional all the damage we asked him to complete the repairs. AND $6K Since we had paid for your dealerships inspection and were advised that the trailer was in good order we signed the inspection walk through paper in good faith trusting the advice of your mechanic . We told Tim It is a 6 hour drive one way to your dealership and that was not an option for us to return. Having paid for an inspection from your dealership and not given a true accounting of the condition of the coach before purchasing we feel we should be compensated for the required repairs we had to incur. My husband and I are buying a Class A RV. We are going to three dealers today, including this one for which we drove an hour out of our way between the other two based on their website showing four RVs with the criteria we are looking for. When we arrived, we learned that none of them were there! Zero, zilch, not one! Not only that, but they didn't have any others to show us. STAY CLEAR OF HERE!!! From the moment that i started here they have done NOTHING but lie to me! One lie after another. First they told me I would get extra equipment included in the deal. When we were done with the deal i asked for those items and was told it would be $1300 more!!! LIE Their service guy measured my truck bed to ensure i could still tow my trailer, he told me it only stuck out 6 inches and that it would be fine. It was far from fine, after taking it to a real professional i was told it was 28inches over and needed to have modifications made to my trailer and truck to make it work properly... ANOTHER LIE!! I told them I wanted my weight distribution system including the saddles off the tong of my trailer I traded in and over a month later they still have not returned them to me. Renting or Shopping around for an honest RV dealer? This is NOT the place you want to deal with for any RV needs. Lack luster, unfriendly, unprofessional and arrogant, game playing, salespeople who don't show they value customers or care about servicing you at all. It appears that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree staring with the ownership to sales to service department. Bad company culture overall. They don't take care of customers or their RVs with care (yours in for repair or theirs on the lot). My family and I have shopped for and owned RVs for years and have never experienced such disrespect nor viewed a place where new units are so limited, lack quality & dirty. We couldn't believe the slothful way they handle people's RVs in for service! Sales people don't tell you everything and don't tell you options you can have before purchasing. Service center doesn't install things on your vehicle very good. Service center don't return phone calls however they do return emails when they get to them I have been waiting for warranty they said they would contact me when they had all the parts that's been 4 or more months ago still waiting. Tired of contacting them. They finally said they had all my stuff I brought the camper in. Then three weeks later they said the bumper they had was damaged in transport they had the bumper for 4 months so they said they can weld the old one and paint it well according to the pictures you can see how well that went they had the camper for 5 weeks.They said I can come pick it up I got there and had to wait over an hour before they were done working on it.( I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN don't say I did not warn you read more

In the past years, I have driven out of my way to give my business to this family owned operation. Not to mention, I purchased my last RV from them for $53K.........NEVER AGAIN!! After them having my RV for 5 weeks to perform a minor repair and order a service part - the service part they ordered was incorrect. They would not re-order the correct part without me driving the 35 minutes (one way) to bring them the part back first (fine, I did drive back). Once there, they could not identify what the correct part should be - so it could be ordered. I asked to have the part returned at which time the owners daughter stated they would charge me a 20% restocking fee. She could not understand that this logic was wrong - the customer pays 20% for their mistake........That's crazy! I will never take my RV there for repair/ service again. And I will be sure to let my friends (whom also own RVs) know of their practice. read more
