NYC-class pizza, of the sort you'd get at Roberta's or Emily in Brooklyn, but save room for dessert because their gelato cups are worth it on their own. (It's the same gelato person who makes Stella's excellent gelato cakes down the streets.) I mean if this place were not so busy I'd probably come here just for the gelato. There are other desserts and they're very good but the gelatos are layered gooey perfection. Ambiance is cute and rustic. This restaurant was recommended to my husband. I don't normally go to Ridgewood due to lack of parking. But this night we were in town for a car show. We strolled over and get our name in the list. Wait was normal for a Friday night. And I have 1 thing to say about this place. OMG!! We are coming back. Sangria and pizza...excellent service, excellent food and excellent experience. BYOB is nice and they've done a great job with the outdoor patio due to covid restrictions--not sure how that tiny kitchen is able to keep up with the number of tables, but they do it. read more

Absolutely unique style. The ambiance and atmosphere this place has is so exclusive, ingredients most importantly are also imported from Italy! Everything is made fresh and the dough has such great flavor. No one could match this style of pizza. 10/10 recommend. read more

I do not know why there is such a hype about this restaurant and the rave reviews. I read the Yelp reviews and decided to give this place a try. I ordered a pizza and two pastas to go. Since there is NO price next to the items, I have no idea how pricey it is. I walked out of the place paying $70 for my individual pie and two small pastas (enough for ladies and maybe a bit small for guys). Now I know why they don't have $$ next to the items. The sauce of My Regina Margarita pie was very sour and the cherry tomatoes had no taste. The pasta was mediocre. The biggest let down was that they did not even include bread, napkins and utensils in the bag. It's a big disappointment and I will not go back again! read more

We arrived promptly at 5pm and were just able to get a seat so please get there early or if you don't it's worth the wait! I love how you can watch the chefs cooking! It's BYOB and there is a liquor store around the corner. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and informative. We ordered the meatball and artichoke app and were blown away by how authentic and delicious they both were. The artichoke was made like my italian grandmother's only better!!! I hate to admit it. The quality has changed, ingredients and staff. Prices are not disclosed. Also, it was our fault they cooked something wrong twice. We had to pay $70 because they "cooked two steaks for us", thanks duck face I appreciate your generosity yet you have no customer service skills. We came here right at opening on a Wednesday evening to no wait. We were two adults and two kids (3 and 6 years old). My sister and I really enjoyed the pizza, especially the crust, super delicious. Normally, we may not bother eating the crust, but here, we both tried to finish up the uneaten crusts of our children! We didn't want to waste it! Other things of note include the mushrooms on our pizza were super fresh, the freshest mushrooms I have ever consumed on a pizza. Most pizza places either use canned or just plain button mushrooms, but not here! Also, I don't normally like pesto, but the pesto on our pizza was very good. Now, I know what good pesto tastes like! My 6 year old daughter said "10 million stars" for this place! Usually, kids don't care for fancy pizza joints, but on this day, my daughter and her younger cousin basically finished a whole Margherita pizza! Yes, two young children finished a whole pizza here. We, moms were shocked, yet happily surprised. We appreciated the pizza being cut into smaller slices for the kiddos to enjoy. Also, the staff were very nice and allowed my daughter to sit on the high top chairs in front of the oven to watch. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her experience here! Definitely kid approved! Fantastic food. The service is amazing but it's a very very small place. I would give it 5 stars but it's a shoe box. When the weather is good seating outside is preferred. The food is good, but as for the service we were disappointed. We had ordered the meatballs to start, which were delicious. Then we ordered two pizzas- the Fiama and Pugliese. We received the Fiama quickly, but it seems they forgot about our second pizza. (Ps the Fiama is VERY spicy!) After about ten minutes, we said something to the manager and he apologized and said it would be out in two minutes. Another ten minutes later we finally received the Pugliese, BUT without the black truffles on it (which are key to that pizza!). The waiter then took our pizza and the kitchen quickly threw truffles on it, and served it back to us again. When the check came we were hoping they had taken care of us due to the mistakes, but we unfortunately had to speak up. They took off half for the Pugliese pizza, or $11. Needless to say the food was great, but I don't think we'll be back! read more

Walked past there so many times when in town and finally decided to go in for lunch. Not only is it a nice and atmospheric little bistro, but the brick oven pizza was AMAZING! I had the "Toscana" which was san marzanos tomatoes, fior di latte mozzarella, sausage, mushroom, pecorino toscano and housemade pesto on a delicious crust. It was perfectly cooked and was absolutely delicious. It was simply wonderful! I have been a Jersey boy all my life and had all kinds, but can't rememeber the last time I fell so hard in love with a pizza! Staff was attentive and very friendly. The pizza is hit or miss and so is the wait staff. Pre-Covid I would hate sitting inside because they have to move your table for you to even fit behind the table. It is so small and claustrophobic inside it would give me massive anxiety being in there. Post Covid and they have expanded their outdoor dining which is 10x nicer making it a better experience but overall for what your spending to be there you could be somewhere way nicer with better quality food. read more

What a fun experience. We have been here several times, but the last time we were here we sat at the bar, and watched as they prepared our pizza. The pizza selection is fun, and varies from traditional to exotic. They use fresh ingredients, and it really shows when the food hits your pallet. The staff is friendly, and very accommodating. Not typically one to write reviews but my experience here makes me not want to return. My wife, dog and I came for dinner and the hostess was overwhelmed. She continued to tell surrounding people different amounts of time to be seated and didn't seem to have the time or awareness to be updating her list in real time. A party was seated in front of us after arriving later, frustrating but we didn't say anything. Overall the seating experience seemed like it was the luck of the draw. When we did get seated, service throughout meal wasn't great, although pizza is decent. As dinner was concluding we heard the hostess yelling at couple who seemed to have a similar issue with the random seating order. Pizzas good but not worth the headache of trying to get a table from the tempered hostess. read more

Fantastic!!!!!!!! That's the one word that pops into my head when I think about this place. From the wait staff to the clean restrooms this place is top notch. We sat at the back of the restaurant next to the espresso machine. My 5 year old son would look to see what the "funny noise" was, the waiter notice it and invited him over so he could see. We began with the Siciliana salad. It consisted of mesculun, fennel, orange wedges, olives, and red onion. The menu mentioned pignoli too but in hindsight there was no pignoli. It was slightly under dressed. Next up was the burrata. The menu stated it comes with arugula, cherry tomato, olives, extra virgin olive oil and balsamic. Surprisingly, ours arrived with a large amount of prosciutto as well. The dish was excellent. Our third dish was the cheese plate. The three cheeses this night were ricotta with balsamic, Pecorino Romano , and what the waitress just called Toscano. We had to ask twice to find out what cheeses were presented. The menu states it comes with honey, house crostini and carmelized onion marmalade. We got honey and a few slices of focaccia. There was no marmalade. The fourth savory dish was pizza! We ordered the Regina Margherita. The menu describes it as San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella di bufala. fresh basil and extra virgin olive oil. It came exactly as described! The crust was quite light and airy. Our waitress tempted us with dessert. We went with the strawberry shortcake in a small Italian glass jar. Order it!
