The El Caprichoso salad was very good but...it came with yellow rice and not brown and there was no avocado. I didn't open it until I got to my parents house so I did not go back. I would definitely order it again but ensure that I check it before leaving. The beef empanadas were hand made with massa. They were so different than the empanadas that I have had in the past but I absolutely loved them. Before cashing out, they let me know they make desserts. Flan, Tres Leches, etc. I would definitely go back and maybe sit and eat there. There are only a few tables so I assume that they will get more once things start to get busier. I found both at Andrade's. I always shop around, and Andrade's prices were great - significantly lower than anything I could find in the area. The lobsters were properly feisty and Nick was very helpful, selecting six two-pounders for us with equal-width tails. (Important for presentation!) I remove the claws, par boil them, and add the meat to the stuffing. (An old trick I learned from Jed Hanley's Fore 'n Aft back in the day.) Although the claws' shells were thick, and actually required a hammer to crack them, I don't think I've ever gotten so much meat. I also bought a pound of peeled and deveined shrimp and a pound of excellent, fresh and sweet scallops for the stuffing. This year's result was among the best I've made.
