Settle Ranch is like a throw back to my early 2000s ...here I was right back at it. You know the food was good. The service was great. The ambience was amazing. The only thing I was missing was the standard across the street. I have a soft affinity for this place cause I literally grew up in romped around it, and one of my favorite stories is leaving the saddle Ranch going across the street to the standard! RIP we had a couple of drinks well more than a couple of drinks, but I mean, how can you help it bottomless bloody Mary's and bottomless mimosas for 999 with the purchase of an entrée so it's like how can you not... Amazing food, service, and atmosphere here. We came during happy hour and enjoyed some strong, flavorful drinks. I got the BBQ chicken chop salad and the half size was HUGE and so damn good! My fiance got a burger with sweet potato fries and it came with a unique marshmallow dip. our server, (mike? mark? i'm so mad im blanking) went above and beyond at the very least! He was so kind and gave us great tips as first timers in the LA area. He even treated us to biscuits and cornbread, and even a cookie skillet, which was seriously generous of him! Saddle ranch is still tried and true! I haven't been in a solid decade and I'm glad it's still kickin. My boyfriend and I went on a random Friday night and it was pretty busy. But we got seated right away. The music was all rock and roll and the mechanical bull was used at least 4 times during our time there. The drinks we ordered were wildly sweet but nostalgic lol The Cesar salad was great. I loved the crunchy cheese added to it. The chicken wings were also very solid. The buffalo had a kick of spice that I loved. The French fries were the weakest dish: came out lukewarm and became cold and hard quickly. Missing salt as well. Saddle Ranch is always a great time! We live across the street and it's our favorite place to walk for a big dinner, casual appetizers, or a good pint. Jai and Prince are phenomenal, they always make it a special and enjoyable experience for us and they are both the sweetest people. We also love Seb! I had to stop by saddle ranch to experience it for myself. I've seen influencers galore post about this place and it was fun to see it in person. It was a little awkward when walking in, it was like they weren't prepared for any guests or they weren't sure how to welcome or seat people. I'm not sure what happened there but I almost left before I even got seated or greeted. Once I sat down, I walked quite a while for a server which felt strange cuz there was barely anyone dining at this time of day. I got a table outside and ordered one of their signature drinks. Experience celebrating a birthday here was great!!! I always wanted to go here because of the bull statue up front so it was nice to finally check out the spot. There was a mechanical bull in the middle of the place, with the themed decor and seats. Food here took a while to come out, we waited for a long while honestly but thankfully there's the entertainment of TVs and the people trying out the bull ride (which is $16 to go up on by the way). The bull ride itself seems pretty worth it for videos and photos of the experience but fun fact the birthday celebrants get to ride it for free. We also had a huge cotton candy dessert too. I think reservations are needed here when it's busy season. The food taste here was also okay, not exceptionally great but not bad either. I got the buffalo chicken ranch salad and was super impressed by the large portions!!! Valet parking here for $10. Other than that, it's a pretty lively spot in WeHo!!! read more

First of all get ready to pay valet $10. Lot is tight and hard to manuever. It is on sunset after all. However, If you wanna go all out cowboy and cowgirl this is the spot! I feel very family oriented, but perhaps it is the time of day that we were there. It seems like it could get rowdy closer to the evening. Throw in the Bull, the drinks, a pool table, sport TVs...yea think it can get delirious late night. Service is superb and so friendly. The menu is huge with heavy fixation on meat. The salad options is decent. Got the apple pecan which was a good portion. The turkey burger was okay. Nothing special. The steak however was good. It was cooked medium rare but there were tougher cooked sides in some areas. The side portion were generous. Definitely a lot to take back. Price wise it seemed quite a lot without alcoholic drinks. Each drink came with a long straw and was served in a carafe. They were well made and sweet. There is plenty of people watching available at the outdoor area with us being the heart of the Sunset Strip. At one point the manager came around and we told him how we had wanted to see the inside decor but couldn't due to the party reserving the entire place. He came back a bit later with Mexican Candy Shots for everyone on the patio to compensate. That's a classy move. Overall, this place is a lot of fun with great looking food (we had just eaten prior to going here but saw some others getting food nearby) and good deals on drinks for Happy Hour. Caesar dressing was tossed in and we added chicken for extra $. Capers and shaved parmesan added a contrasting flavor of salty umami, but the chicken and romaine lettuce balanced out this dish. People, this restaurant goes above and beyond! AND THEN SOME. To make a long story short, I thought they had erroneously added a $40 tab of cocktails on our bill. (I only noticed it when we got home). I spoke to a woman called Dana, and explained it to her over the phone. Over the next 4 days there were a plethora of calls and questions from her that would put any from her, figuring it all out. To my absolute embarassment, I spoke to the other party at our table that night, and they confirmed they had in fact ordered the cocktails, which I had thought was lemonade. Don't laugh. So, when she called back to apologize and offered us large gift vouchers, I very red-faced, confessed it was I who had made the mistake. You know, what? She still offered the gift vouchers! I was gobsmacked. Also, THE DRUNK LADIES ON THE RODEO BULL that night, were a hoot. The 80s and 90s music videos had us party and sing out loud all the lyrics, and the steaks were large and yumilicious. We had the best Thanksgiving dinner in years, and we will be back. His BIGGEST note was how toasted the bun was. It made the burger even better. True burger fans know a good toasted bun allows the patty to be juicy without compromising the bread becoming soggy. One of the best burgers we've had at a restaurant in a while. We added grilled chicken to the salad and they pre cut it/shred it for you which was really nice to have - one less thing to worry about. The fried capers really added a nice texture and flavor combo to the overall salad. The fried Parmesan that comes with it was also delicious while beautiful in presentation. We also got to try the butter cake and this is the cake I will be having in my dreams. It's not too sweet like other places, it had almost a corn muffin consistency. I have driven by this place a thousand times and swore I would never come here. But time broke me down and I am glad it did. The food is MUCH better than you might expect although you are going to pay extremely high prices for it. These are very much hot spot high rent Sunset Boulevard tourist central prices. Portions are also generally very large, so there is some value there, aside from the quality. Service was excellent, all around. The potato skins appetizer was fine. The French dip sandwich was very good. The meat was tender and flavorful. You get a choice of many different sides and I went with a baked potato that was almost Chernobyl-sized and it was perfectly cooked. The steak sandwich was also great. The meat was well-cooked and was also seasoned well. It comes with onions and mushrooms. The BBQ chicken sandwich is huge (the chicken itself is massive) and it comes with bacon, cheese, lettuce. tomatoes, and onions. The bacon and cheese really help this sandwich. I liked it well enough. Yes, they have a mechanical bull which you can ride for five bucks, after you sign the waiver. Yes, I did ride it, and yes, I stayed on for the ride. I was told about 70% of riders stay on and don't fall. I'm not a math guy but you decide if your own chances are any good. It's obviously fun to watch people ride the bull. The music was a loud, steady stream of classic rock. It worked for me. The draft beer menu is surprisingly weak for a place like this. But between the bottles and draft beers, it covers the basics, I guess. Almost everyone gets the outrageous cotton candy dessert that could probably feed 10 people. We tried the half baked chocolate chip and M&M cookie which was just average. There was nothing wrong with it but it wasn't special. For whatever reason, they also comped us the S'mores Platter which was terrific. They have a few fire pits outside where you can roast your marshmallows. It's a simple dish but fun and worth it. The place is huge and we could see that a lot of people were celebrating special occasions here. It is definitely that kind of place. No kids menu, as far as I could tell, but kids are welcome. There are plenty of safe menu options for kids. Sure, this restaurant is probably best for tourists but it's a fun place regardless. Good music, a mechanical bull, mostly very good food, mountains of cotton candy, and excellent service. You have a million options for great and exotic food in Los Angeles but I can see how a night out at Saddle Ranch fits into the dining scene just fine. read more
