I had my rear window replaced by Paul. When I called to schedule the service I was told that there is a warranty. The website says that there is a 12 month warranty. I did not drive the car. I came back from a trip 3 weeks after the window was replaced and it was completely shattered. When I called the phone number provided I was told that they would not replace it and was simply told, "you need to pay again". I have tried to call multiple times since that call and have not been able to reach anyone. I am requesting a refund or replacement rear window. Please respond to my message. read more

He changed the windshield for us and we are elderly couple. He changed it in January 23, 2026 and by April 2026 it was already cracked and it is not our fault. His website states "12 month warranty," and on the phone he stated "lifetime warrant." Nonetheless he told us he will charge us again, we offered to send him the photos and wanted to see if we can reach a solution and if he see if the fault was in the glass he installed or the way it was installed, he was so rude and disgusting to us he said " F**k You" to us. This is the second time we've used this company. Our mistake! While they are reasonable and fast, you do get what you paid for. The first time the lining around the windshield stuck out and the wipers never worked well after the installation. This time there was broken glass all over the car and the street which he said I needed to sweep! I spent 30 minutes sweeping it, then had to vacuum the entire car! He made no effort to put down a tarp to catch the glass when removing the smashed window. Also there are still broken bits in the door that rattle whenever you open it. Very bad work and no effort to clean up after himself. Will not use them again! read more

My front winsheild was broken and needed to be replaced, after insurance authorization, i contacted Safelite and they made arrangements to replace at my workplace. After 8 days wait, the day before the appointement,they called and said that they can not do it at my workplace and i had to take it to their shop ( as if they could not have called me sooner), nontheless I made another appointement with them and after another week or so I droped the car at their shop, they said it will take 3 hours, when I went back to pick up my car after 3 hours, the work was not done and they said, the wrong windsheild was ordered !! and then I decided to take the car elsewhere. I do not recommend Safelite to anyone.BTW their bethesda location receptionist,had the worst attitude and was very unprofessional as well. Stay Away! read more

Absolutely Terrific & Honest Service - Our Volvo needed to have its windshield replaced due to a crack and a leak. We are working in Spain. The car is at our father-in-law's house in Bethesda. After receiving a $975 quote from the Oursman Volvo, I decided to search around to find a quality replacement professional in the Bethesda area. I read the good reviews on Paul at Safetech Auto Glass and called him. It was on a Friday. He made it to my father-in-law's house within 2 hours with the new windshield, but due to incorrect information I provided he called me to let me know that a different style was needed. They replaced the windshield on my 2020 BMW X5. In doing so they left unclicked the lane departure camera and pinched the wires that attach to it. Now I have to replace the lane departure system and the windshield. When I called to explain what happened with my car and get any potential solution from Safetech, they blamed the BMW service for purposely damaging the wires to try to sell me parts. read more
