Came here for lunch, and it was pretty crowded ngl! Inside, there are a few tables available for seating, which was nice. We just had to wait around 5 minutes for a table to open up. Customer service was also on point! There's a bell you can ring whenever you need someone to come help you out (which is located in the front near the POS to order). And here is what we got... my grandma and sister got the rice with grilled pork, while I got the garlic noodles with BBQ chicken. Rice with Grilled Pork (4.5/5): Everything was pretty much perfect! I think we just needed some fish sauce lol. We did ask for some, but what we received was more like a sweet and sour sauce? We were looking for more of a Vietnamese fish sauce, but it wasn't bad, still ate with it XD Garlic Noodles with BBQ Chicken (4/5): I really liked the garlic noodles, they definitely hit the spot for me! The chicken was alright too. I think next time, I'd try the grilled pork with the noodles instead. Overall, it was a very nice experience!

I came here on a weekday around noon and ordered the Pork Belly Banh Mi. It was good, but nothing particularly stood out to me. I do think there are other places with more affordable prices. On the plus side, the service was super quick, and they have two self-ordering kiosks, which I really liked. The parking lot is also huge and convenient, and there are plenty of tables inside if you want to sit and enjoy your food. I would definitely come back to try some of their other dishes.

Yummy food at ok prices!! I've eaten here a few times both dine-in and takeout, and both have only been good experiences. I like their grilled pork banh mi, garlic noodles, kimchi fried rice, and thai iced tea. It's located in an Irvine business complex, which if you've never been in, can be a somewhat strange location. Casual ambiance, endless parking, limited seating but almost never full as most people get their food to-go. Not an authentic Viet restaurant if you're ok with that, definitely more fusion!

I got the popcorn chicken and the fries during happy hour. It was crispy and the sauce was nice. The portion size was decent. I ordered online but they have kiosk you can use inside. They have a bell you can ring and seating inside. Overall, the wait was decent and the food was decent I would go back to try their pork belly next time.

We stopped by for a meal and were impressed by the variety on the menu, especially the extensive drink selection and Happy Hour specials available from 2-5 PM. For food, we ordered the Garlic Noodles with Shaken Steak, Pork Belly Banh Mi, and Popcorn Chicken. The garlic noodles were flavorful with the tender shaken steak. The pork belly banh mi featuring crispy pork belly and fresh toppings on a toasted baguette. The popcorn chicken was crispy, juicy, and made for a great appetizer to share. For drinks, we tried the Lychee Green Tea and Lemon Guava Green Tea. Both were refreshing and complemented the meal well. The restaurant offers plenty of drink options, making it a great spot to relax with friends. Between the tasty food, refreshing beverages, and Happy Hour deals, it's definitely worth a visit.

The food came out super fast after we ordered. The garlic noodles were packed with garlicky flavor, perfectly seasoned, and had a great chewy texture. We also absolutely loved the pork belly, it was incredibly crispy and delicious. My favorite was the pork belly banh mi. The baguette was crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the crispy pork belly paired so well with the pickled veggies and herbs, making every bite so satisfying!

My coworkers and I love getting Saiga for a quick Vietnamese food fix at work. The pork belly garlic noodles are my favorite -- the pork belly is perfectly crispy and they really load up on the garlic. The filet mignon pho had a rich, flavorful broth, and the pork belly banh mi was warm, crunchy, and super good. Service is always quick, parking is easy, and the whole spot is just really convenient. They also have frozen, packaged pho which I thought was so interesting. Have to get it next time to try!

Reservation: Not needed - fast casual; lot of people inside for a weekday lunch but mostly takeout/deliveries so turnover for tables was high Parking: Super easy parking in lot right outside Vibes: Bright and welcoming atmosphere with greenery, free wifi, and kiosks for convenient ordering Service: friendly and efficient despite the lunch rush Grilled pork banh mi: my personal highlight - perfectly toasted bread and the super flavorful grilled pork; other ingredients well balanced in good proportion Pork belly banh mi: also really great flavor, not super rich and fatty considering pork belly is used so wasn't heavy and reminded me of char siu pork Kimchi fried rice with BBQ chicken: chicken skin had really nice color on them and good portion though kimchi fried rice could use more heat for me personally Everything together was under $40 - a convenient, quick meal for good value!

    Grilled Pork Vermicelli with Eggroll

Saiga Vietnamese Eatery is always an easy choice for me because Vietnamese food is usually my first pick when I am deciding what to eat, and whenever I see this spot on our work menu, I choose it hands down. My go to order is the grilled pork vermicelli bowl, which comes with fish sauce on the side and an egg roll, plus garlic oil, pickled carrots, mint leaves, lettuce, and cucumbers. Everything works so well together. The pork is flavorful, the noodles are light, and all the fresh herbs and veggies make each bite super satisfying. I have also tried their garlic noodles, which were tasty, but the vermicelli is definitely my favorite and what I would recommend first. The flavors are balanced, the portions are solid, it's packaged very well so that nothing spills, and it always hits the spot whenever I am craving Vietnamese food. If you are debating what to order here, go straight for the grilled pork vermicelli. It does not disappoint.

Combination Pho Pork Belly Salad Kimchi Fried Rice

Saiga Vietnamese Eatery in Irvine is located in a business complex, but it's definitely worth checking out. This spot actually has more menu options than the Orange location. It can be a little hard to find at first, but it's worth it. We ordered the Combination Pho, and the broth and noodles were served separately, which kept everything fresh and nicely textured. The pho was good overall, but it wasn't the standout dish for me. The Pork Belly Salad was the highlight. The house dressing was light and flavorful, and the pork belly was crispy and delicious. Both the Irvine and Orange locations are consistent when it comes to quality and texture. We also tried the Kimchi Fried Rice with BBQ Chicken. The rice had great texture and was not just plain rice mixed with kimchi. You could tell it was thoughtfully prepared. The BBQ chicken was really tasty and went perfectly with the fried rice.

I finally got to try Saiga and it definitely lived up to the hype! The pork belly was hands down my favorite. It was tender, flavorful, and had the perfect crispy edges. You can really tell they put a lot of care into it because every bite was so satisfying. My go-to order will now be the pork belly over garlic noodles (or rice if I'm in the mood for something lighter). I also got a banh mi, the bread was fresh and crispy, the pickled veggies added the perfect crunch, and everything came together so well. One thing to keep in mind: they don't have restrooms on-site, so plan ahead. That said, the location is tucked away in Irvine and is super convenient if you're near or heading to the airport. If you're visiting for the first time, definitely order something with the pork belly. It's easily the star of the menu, and I'll definitely be back to try more!

Usually I really like Saiga, but this dish was a little off. I got the kimchi fried rice with steak and it wasn't good. Rice was oily and didn't have a strong kimchi taste (tasted like they put too much sesame oil) and the steak tasted rubbery.

    Taylor H.

The filet mignon pho was my favorite! The broth was so flavorful, the meat was tender, and everything tasted so fresh and clean. We also tried a few other dishes and everything was delicious. The service was great, everyone was friendly, and the restaurant itself was super clean and welcoming. Definitely a spot I'd come back to!

They weren't too sweet and had a hint of salt. You could also still taste the natural flavors of the egg yolk. Absolutely delicious! I also enjoyed the lotus root crispy fries. Do not be alarmed if you bite into one and find a stringy substance in there. That is normal apparently. It was my first time trying lotus root crispy fries and I enjoyed them a lot! More than I thought I would. The tomato beef noodles were also delicious as well. I thought the noodles were cooked perfectly and the broth was very tomato-y and beefy. The only thing was the kale. It really didn't do anything to the dish so other than just being a green, leafy veggie, it really didn't need to be there. Same with the parsley. The beef rolls were also quite nice. I thought that the ones I had dine-in were perfectly crispy with just the right of sauce to not overpower the other ingredients in the roll. Also, some places skimp on the meat and fill up the "beef" roll with too much cucumber. I thought this place was very balanced with the beef and cucumber! I did however, order a second beef roll to go and noticed that they didn't put enough sauce. So, that seemed a little inconsistent. I also ordered the spicy wontons and they were so delicious that I ordered a second one to go! Overall, I thought the experience was a great one. The service was good and friendly. The food was delicious. I will say that it gets quite busy. There was a large amount of people still waiting outside the restaurant after we finished eating. Definitely expect a wait (but it'll be worth it)!

And I am SO glad we did because everything about our experience was seriously a 10/10! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was amazing. The gentleman at the front greeted us and escorted us to our table, and right away we felt welcomed and comfortable. Our server, Quang, was absolutely the sweetest! He was so friendly, outgoing, attentive, and helpful, especially when it came to giving us recommendations since it was our first time there. He had such a positive energy and really made our experience even better. And the FOOD!!! If I could give it 1,000/10, I seriously would. We tried the Ube Cloud, Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Garlic Parmesan Fries, Spicy Shrimp Wontons, Corn Ribs, Garlic Butter Prawns, and Filet Garlic Noodles, and honestly, there wasn't ONE thing we didn't enjoy. Everything was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. But what really stood out to us was that it wasn't just the food -- it was the entire experience. The staff, the atmosphere, the music, and just the overall vibe made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. The music they were playing was amazing too! My friend and I were enjoying ourselves, eating good food, listening to good music, and just having such a great time. The whole place honestly had such a warm, homey feeling to it. When we were leaving, the gentleman who had greeted and seated us earlier ended up having a whole conversation with my friend and me. He was so sweet and personable! He mentioned that they may be opening a location in Culver City, and I told him I really hope they do because that would be much closer to home for me. I was even joking with him that if they open one, they need to bring the whole staff from this location over there too because everyone here was THAT amazing. At the same time, even if there ends up being a location closer to me, I would honestly still make the drive back to this one. When you visit somewhere for the first time and have such a great experience, that location becomes special. You can visit the same restaurant somewhere else, but the people, atmosphere, and experience aren't necessarily going to feel the same. This location definitely left that kind of impression on us. I really hope this review reaches management because the staff here deserves the recognition. Everyone we interacted with was wonderful, and Quang especially took such great care of us. This was our first time at VOX Kitchen, but it DEFINITELY won't be our last. I wonder if these two could have been more cohesive together somehow, but both individual parts were good! My friend told me this restaurant's owner had a few other fusion restaurants in the plaza, so I'll have to try those as well!
