    Vermicelli Deluxe

Good food. We ordered the Vermicelli deluxe and the fried egg rolls from the appetizer menu. I like that the noodles were cut instead of having to drag the long noodles out of the bowl. The fish sauce had a good taste also. We plan to return and try the Pho next time. There were at least 20 people in here and larger groups so it appears to be a local favorite. Recommend fo sho. Tables and booth and floors were clean. Workers were friendly.

I had passed this place many times but never stopped. So as I entered the restaurant it was a medium dining area but clean. My server was very helpful and I chose the Bánh mì sandwich and garlic noodles with pork and veggies. I liked the noodles but the pork was although tasty, could use a little more time for tenderness. The Bánh mì was the star of my visit and I would try it again. I give them a 8.7 overall Check them out and see? Chef Chris

Such a great spot! The server was the nicest server I think I've ever had. Super friendly and helpful. The food was amazing - I had a tofu noodle bowl and the tofu was so crispy!! The vibe is very chill and not flashy as all. A really good spot if you're in the area!!

The food is okay here. It is the most authentic spot in the Temple Terrace area, but I think that it is inconsistent with the pho broth taste. The rice and bun dishes are the best in the area though. I recommend getting the bun (rice noodles dish). The service is very fast, and the staff were very attentive.

Great pho spot !! Very fast service and authentic! The broth here is delicious. I loved the pork egg rolls and that they serve it with fish sauce. Great portions on the pho too.

Let's start with the fact that I'm pretty biased because the Vietnamese food in Los Angeles/Alhambra rocks the house. With that said, Saigon Bay was pretty good and the high Yelp rating is well-deserved! I got the soupless noodles with pork, shrimp and an egg roll, and it was pretty good! I very reasonable $17 for a quick meal with nicely prepared food and good service!

My friends and I decided to try Saigon Bay for the first time. They provided good service and answered all of our questions in regard to the menu. We got a ton of food! For appetizers, we had krab rangoon, shrimp egg rolls, pork egg rolls, spring rolls, miso soup, shrimp soup, and vegetable soup. Our favorite items were the rangoon, spring rolls, and shrimp rolls. The miso soup was the only appetizer that was not tasty. The entrees we got were the shrimp pad thai, chicken pad thai, beef pho, and the rice & chicken platter. Our favorite was both pad thai.

The service and ambience is great. Food came out fast. I got their pho deluxe and it was great! Portion was good.

So happy I can update my review from over 10 years ago. I went to Saigon Bay over a decade ago, but it's completely different. From reading James review, he reminded me of their awful fire in 2020, and how they rebuilt in this location. So happy to stop by here for lunch with my friend. We loved our server who was like a mom to us as soon as we walked in. I ordered a pork banh mi sandwich, & my server said get the quail appetizer, and so I did. My friend got the beef stew - Bo Kho with bread, not noodles. She did not want noodles. We shared them, and I loved the seasoning of the quail. I also loved dipping my sandwich in the broth of the stew. It was so tasty and had a sweet tinge to it. I also loved the carrots. I didn't love the beef so much but I do love the broth and veggies in the beef stew. It's different bc it's a thin broth not like a thick American beef stew. Everything was tasty here. Our server was so sweet. She spoke very good English and she made sure we mixed and made sure we ate the salad with the quail and made sure we had everything just right before we ate it. We liked our booth and there were other tables as well. The counter area is very floral and bright. It's a great spot, and we definitely adored our lunch. They open at 10:30 am.

Good food, fun server. The Pho's broth is amazing. Bún thịt nướng was tasty however they didnt provide enough sauce.

If you're on the fence about which pho place to go after leaving Busch Gardens, stop looking. The best pho our entire party has ever had while dining out. The pho was so perfect that our son said it didn't even need hoisin sauce. The spring rolls both vegetarian and non were also very delicious. They came out quick and not even a bit greasy. The service here was also excellent! Very friendly staff members! We love this place and will be back next time we visit Tampa!

I have not been here since 2015. I had just gotten interested in pho, but not writing for yelp consistently. I had pho at the then current Fowler location. From what I remember, food was good and the interior was nicely decorated. I tried Saigon Deli later and became a frequent patron for the next 6 years. Unfortunately, the 2020 riots saw this restaurant burned down and seemingly closed for good. Somehow, I never knew that they reopened on 56th in the brick plaza opposite Outback Steakhouse until fellow Elite yelper Rachel L. wrote a review. Inside is a clean, comfortable cafe that can hold about 50 people. There is upbeat Vietnamese music playing. They serve many Viet staples like pho, banh mi, stir fried meat/rice combos, and boba drinks. I ordered pho tai and a grilled pork banh mi sandwich. The pho has a nice broth and there is a good amount of solid food-noodles/beef etc. I'd say Saigon Deli broth is %10 tastier, though Saigon Bay has fresher dressings like jalapeno, mint leaves, and sprouts. 4/5 The banh mi had very crunchy bread, aromatic cilantro and fresh carrots/cucumber, and nicely seasoned meat. The sandwich was about 6 inches in length. 5/5 Awesome! Their pho is $12 and Banh mi are are $7 which are comparable to SDeli and Zen Noodle Bar (I miss $8 dollar pho Stupid COVID lol.) Another pro (for me) is that they are open on Sundays until 9 pm. (They are closed Mondays fyi.) I was going to Zen Noodle for pho the last year, but they seem to have supply issues that is making me lose interest in getting pho from there. Id say Saigon Bay is a great choice for USF/Temple Terrace peeps to get great pho!

You'd never guess busy Fowler Avenue and all those shiny new businesses are just steps away. This is free-spirited, relaxing and zen. You can study here, chill-out and reset. It's colorful and very sunny, but it would also be the snuggliest place to sit while it's raining and just sip away and read. There are so many drink and food options here. I had the pistachio matcha with strawberry cold foam and a spinach/feta pastry. Both were good choices. You can order at the register or from a QR code and they'll call you to come get it. It's so casual and laid back. This adorable hangout would melt away any work frazzles I could possible walk in with. I love the low ceilings and the vintage hardwood floors and the slouchy couch and the eastern light streaming in the front window of this older, repurposed home. There's original artwork everywhere, including the ceiling (some of it's for sale). There's also a rack of clothing items, jewelry, scrunchies and other items for sale. I love the eclectic vibe-and the guitar propped up by the front window. Phoebe could definitely sing "Smelly Cat" here. Heck, they're so welcoming here, Ross could probably set up his keyboard and share "the sound." They DO have live music here-and a side patio. There's some parking up front and extra parking in back. And the service is friendly. I'm so glad I found this spot. I'll be back to try the apple fritter croissant and soak up more relaxation. Happy days from Felicitous!

The Cracked Pepper Cafe is one where googled failed miserably. Established for many years, close to home, and a highly rated sandwich shop which has been hidden from my google view for years. Tsk. Tsk. I spotted the place due to a sidewalk sign once I was in an office park on another errand. Lo and behold, a promising sandwhich menu, a breakfast menu and a cozy little place with indoor and outdoor seating. Good vibes, a nice lakefront ambiance and New York flair. Plenty of parking, a short walk to the backside of the office building which are a few long one story structures if memory serves. I ordered to go, the Gabagool, an italian sammie and a Cuban with lettuce and tomato to try their wares. I also ordered an omelet, the Tombstone, for the wife. Now, for me, when an italian has mortadella and capicola (gabagool) in it, you are my kinda soulmate. All the right stuff and packed skyscraper high. All the fixins that come with it do not fit in the "sandwheech". Spoon them into your mouth as you eat or save for after. I was suspicious of the dressing because instead of italian it was roasted red pepper sauce, I got it on the side just in case. Loved the Gabagool, excellent flavor profile, meaty and a nice blend of textures. The sauce had me on the fence at first but found myself more attracted to it as I ate. The cuban for me was nothing special, the same issue I encounter most places. I prefer sliced pork to pork chunks. Pork chunks ruins the balance of ingredients for me, I feel like I am eating a pork sandwich dressed like a cuban. That's my take on it and there are thousands who would disagree. I just grew up with cuban sandwich perfection (hand sliced meats off a ham leg and pork leg) throughout my childhood. The omelet was excellent. It's now the wife's favorite place to get "Stuffed Eggs" as they call it. This place will be added to the rotation, likely twice a month at least. The one disappointment is I can not convince them to add Vickie's Jalapeño Chips. The carry the Vickies brand but not the top selling flavor, by far, I looked it up. Not sure what the issue is but my sandwiches are consumed sans chips. I guess that is their perogative. Ergo, I go chipless. But don't let that stop you, the food here is great! Come get ya some!
