My new favorite Vietnamese spot! I love that I found Saigon Corner because now I don't have to make the drive all the way to Chinatown for good quality Vietnamese food. The pho is super yummy and the broth is rich and flavorful. We've also tried their rice noodle bowls, rice plates, and the spring rolls and have yet to be disappointed by anything. The food is so good here. They also have a pretty large selection of drinks that all look very good but haven't tried it yet. It does get busy especially during dinner time which tells you a lot being that this place is in a more local area. We have been meaning to try this place for some time now. There's a lot of Vietnamese spots in the southwest but I think this one has one of the best bun bo hue. We came by at the start of their dinner hours and were served quickly. Really enjoyed the booth seats they had providing some privacy to enjoy our meals. We ordered the Bo luc lac, bun bo hue, and a chicken pho. The shaking beef was great with the broken rice and all the veggies. The broth of the bun bo hue will surely have us going back and with the big beef bone it included. The only item that we kind of felt missed was the grilled chicken pho. We visited on Saturday for lunch, with three adults and two small children, and it as a very nice experience. We arrived at opening time and were seated right away in a spacious booth. The dining area is large but does get full quickly. The waiter stopped by and took drink orders. My only criticism on this visit was that they serve the white wine at room temperature. We ordered a variety of items; Ban Mi, Shaken Fries, Egg Rolls, Snails in Saigon Butter Sauce, Scallops in Swiss Cheese Sauce, Clams in Thai Sauce, Raw Thai Shrimp, and a beef and rice dish. Everything was well prepared and delicious. Fresh beyond fresh and served steaming hot. The service was outstanding, the waiter and helpers were friendly, prompt, and professional. They were nice enough to allow us to order just noodles for the kids as opposed as a side. The military discount was appreciated. Overall, a great place for Asian fare. read more

Saigon Corner is one of two restaurants in Las Vegas that has Vietnamese food similar to Orange County. This place is always jammed up and prepare for a wait due to its smaller size and popularity. The vibe inside is fast paced and food may take some time depending on what you order. Employees are nice but they are on the move constantly so I wouldn't expect someone to have time to walk you through the menu. If you are looking for a basic bowl of Pho or Bun Bo Hue, then there are plenty of places in town for that. Not to say this restaurant won't have it but since we prepare those type of dishes at home we would never order in a sit down setting, We came specifically for OC - snails , and razor clams which we thoroughly enjoyed! The spring rolls, and egg rolls were average and probably another dish best served at home. If you don't cook this type of cuisine, then we would highly recommend coming here. I love the interior design. It gave a street food vendor atmosphere and all the food was so delicious. We were worried it would take a while to be seated considering there was quite a line out the door, but we managed to get in within 10 min. The server was helpful in giving recommendations and attentive to checking up on my table. We started the order with a very flavorful beef carpaccio that came paired with rice crackers and Asian periwinkle escargot in the garlic butter sauce. Both had such beautiful presentations and were tasty, but it definitely felt like you had to work for the escargot! Maybe there's an easier method, but I felt like you really needed to get some leverage with those wooden picks into the shell. This time, we're excited to see that there were actually a couple of restaurants with larger snail options on their menus in comparison at this time to not really seeing any a couple years ago. When we were here last. When you first walk inside, you'll be amazed at the interior design. It's set up like it's if you're in the streets in the city of Vietnam. Very clean and once again, just has very good eye appeal to the décor. staff were very nice and very helpful when ordering. I love this place so much, i almost don't want to tell more people. The food is consistently amazing. Tonight we got the shrimp patty roll, short rib pho and he got the pork bun with egg roll. So far out of all the Pho in LA, SF, Westminster, and Vegas, their Bone in Short Rib Pho (only) is the best in all the lands. For real, no post meal msg hangover, just pure hearty beef bone soup taste. This is definitely a favorite of mine. Their pork patty roll is pretty good w the crispy stick in the middle that gives it a good crunchy texture. A good 2nd to Brodards. The Bun Bo Hue is alright, definitely hits all the right spots. I appreciate that it doesn't make me sleepy after eating. Great natural flavor! Over place is my top choice if I want/ need Pho. Service is quick, not overly friendly but you get what you need. Came here on a Friday night at 6pm, party of 13. It's a small restaurant, but we only had to wait for maybe 30 minutes before they got us a table. Amazing service. The veggies super fresh and crisp. Shrimps were large. I got vermicelli with Nem and eggrolls. I make good eggrolls, everyone told me so..they make better eggrolls...no one has done so before. I was shook. Husband got pho with cast iron steak, and he's still talking about it a week later... Others got beef bone pho, cast iron eggs and steak, viet salad...list was long. Most importantly...we had several plates of different snails/clams. All were amazing. I would have bought several plates to go but we were staying at a hotel with no fridge/microwave. I really really wanted to get more before heading home but it was a long drive. The food was oddly cheap too! The snail sauce was delicious with ample spicy. But i think either the snail was overcooked or not fresh, it was hard to get out. The special saigon pho was the highlight with how soft the iron flank steak was! I was very surprised at meat quality. The broth was light and delicate without overpowering fragrance of five spices. My favorite Vietnamese restaurant by FAR -- and that's saying something, considering I'm comparing it to spots in San Jose and Westminster, California. The menu is extensive, yet everything is executed beautifully. The standout dish for me is the periwinkle snails with Saigon garlic butter -- my friends, who had never tried snails before, absolutely loved them. Pro tip: order a side of rice to soak up every drop of that amazing sauce. I also preferred the basil clams over the lemongrass clams -- they're more flavorful and aromatic. The shaking beef is solid, but the cast iron skillet steak and eggs is truly next level -- super tender, bursting with flavor, and paired with a fluffy baguette perfect for sopping up the sauce. Their pho is excellent too, with incredibly tender beef brisket that melts in your mouth. Everything is good here, starting from the pho, to their noodle bowls, marinated pork, salads, etc. I think they used to be pho king across the street in the Walmart parking lot and then they moved and opened up here, which was the best thing ever. It had Julian Granny Smith Apple, thinly sliced eggs, fried baby shrimp and onions, red pepper, peanuts, and cut up rice paper. It was different and I didn't know what to expect. I also had the basil clams which was very good, loaded with minced garlic and cut up basil in a savory sauce perfect to mix with rice.
