My party ordered the grilled pork vermicelli, grilled shrimp and lemongrass beef banmi sandwiches. The vermicelli dishes and the grilled pork Bahn Mi sandwiches were flavorful but the garlic shrimp Bahn Mi was not. The bread tasted a little stale and ingredients could have been cooked a little bit longer. The presentation of the sandwiches could be better. Both sandwiches were placed in their own paper bag with names labeled on the bag and the sandwiches held together by a rubber band. The server was attentive and ambiance of the place was inviting with music playing in the air and the room was well lighted.

On a Friday night around 5pm, this place wasn't busy! I think they're still in their opening days. I originally tried to get the lemongrass beef vermicelli with tofu substituted for beef, but they don't allow that substitution. So I got the tofu pho. Our food came out quickly. This serving size was good enough for 2 portions; they gave so much tofu! The tofu was fried well. The broth was tasty, especially with the jalapeños because it adds a nice kick. Though I don't know if the broth is vegetarian. They gave a good amount of noodles too. The worker wasn't too friendly, but later she did give my table and I a free Vietnamese yogurt on the house. I liked it, it was like a more vanilla-forward and less tangy version of a Greek yogurt. I also don't think they serve water here, you have to buy water bottles.

Worst customer service of my life. Called in order - the man misheard me - I ordered 2 fried fish & some other items. I requested one extra large one medium- both NO spicy. I have an ulcer & my fiancé does not like spicy at all. I get to Saigon to pick up the order & the man said 2 extra large fish one spicy one not spicy. I said NO one extra large one medium both NO spicy. He said " you should have ordered in person" lol - then he says it's not that spicy so I said I can't eat spicy I have an ulcer. He continued to argue. I said ok fine I'll take it. He said I will charge for one medium on extra large. He didn't. He charged one large one extra large. I get back to my hotel - try to eat the fish & it is inedible- completely covered in an extreme amount of cayenne. I called him to tell him I tried to eat it but it's so hot it's burning my mouth (way hotter than hot chips). So I tell him sorry I can't eat it- he tells me rudely fine come in I'll refund you - I said I can bring the whole fish no problem but I still want one without spice (which is why I ordered lol to have dinner). He says no I will not make you one. I said I don't need a refund I will bring you the whole fish & just want to exchange for a not spicy fish, which is what I ORDERED. He said I can refuse service to you. I said for what? You getting my order wrong? lol he said I did not get it wrong. I laughed I said I ordered one medium one extra large no spicy you gave me 2 extra large one spicy. That is not what I ordered. He kept arguing saying I have the phone call recording - I said play it then. I think I know what I ordered as I have an ulcer I can't eat spicy I still tried to eat it just to not waste a whole fish but it was insane spicy. I told him I don't want the refund but if you would just apologize when you make a mistake it would go a long way and you would keep customers. I then said please play the recording and then call me back to apologize which he did not. Horrible rude man. Not hard to apologize and if he can't afford to replace a fish because he messed up then he should maybe charge a couple dollars more to account for any possible mistakes. Sad because I love whole fried fish and this is local for me but his rudeness ruined it.

Had the Chicken Banh Mi for lunch today and HAD to write a review. It was packed full of delicious chicken and veggies and was so big I saved half for dinner. I love whatever they are sautéing their chicken in, it tasted so good! The heat from the thin sliced jalapeño was just perfect. Had a kick but wasn't overwhelming. I think slicing the jalapeños the way they do (length wise and thin) really helps to get just enough in every bite. I ordered on DD so I can't speak to the service or atmosphere, but I intend to drop by soon. I highly recommend the Banh Mi (in case you can't tell ) I want to try the tofu next! !

I ordered the beef stew banh mi and lemongrass beef vermicelli. I really enjoyed the lemongrass beef vermicelli because the lemongrass flavor was not too overpowering and the beef was very savory. The beef could have been a bit more tender, but the flavor was amazing. The vermicelli dish is very light and refreshing. The beef stew banh mi was very flavorful and delicious as well. You can really taste the cinnamon, cloves, and star anise. For me personally, I do prefer an even balance between those spices and the savory bone broth. In addition, the beef inside the stew was very tender. This dish is also accompanied by two large banh mi, which are perfectly crusty on the outside and soft inside. I did try to order their sugar cane juice. However, they did not have any in stock when I visited. Inside, it seemed like the store was still doing renovations. The service was standard and acceptable. Overall, I would come back again to try another dish!

Today we tried pork and shrimp egg rolls and more pork bahn mi sandwiches. The menu has expanded with American Chinese take out like plates available. I saw glass noodles were an option for $1 more and I love glass noodles. These are a great gluten free or gluten conscious option too. The hot egg rolls were the cold spring rolls only heated. Pork, vegetable and beef are also available. I honestly can't wait to come back and try new things. Good thing I live in the neighborhood. I also saw that there are no longer steam tables and they are cooking to order to make the food fresh. It seems pretty popular too. I was encouraged to see people of all cultures ordering take out. The dining room had relaxing music. I think it would be a nice place to enjoy lunch which I will definitely do next time. Today my order was done quickly. The flavor was so fresh. I am still impressed. My new favorite neighborhood take out.

Omg the crawfish boil is 1000/10!!!! The flavors in the sauce were insane and so delicious! They're doing 20% off the seafood boil so it only came out to about $40. I would say the seafood boil can feed two people. The potato was a bit undercooked, but my husband still ate it. The crawfish were a really nice size and the sausage and corn were great. The real star is that sauce that they use! I hope they keep this on their menu

Looking for some quick Vietnamese to bring home, I had seen this new spot pop up near me. The offerings looked promising so I gave it a try. The service was friendly. The atmosphere I will disregard as this is definitely built for delivery apps and takeout. I got the pork sausage spring rolls and the bun thit nuong. Interestingly, it was already prepackaged and ready to go. The food was all still fresh and made day of so I didn't mind. The spring rolls were great with a good mix of crunch from the greens and the egg roll skin hidden in the middle. It paired nicely with the provided savory peanut sauce. The bun thit nuong was so plentiful and could easy feed a party of 2. Very delicious and rivals any from a typical Vietnamese restaurant. Definitely going to be coming back to try the rest of their menu read more

Don't judge the food by its location. Reasonable price. Big portion. Good service. Had to wait 15 min for freshly prepared food. Simple menu but food was good. We ordered charbroil pork rice and charbroil pork vermicelli. Eggroll was not crunchy as it should. Will return. read more

I have been searching for a banh mi as good as the one at Hiep Thanh in San Bernardino and I found it! Their tofu banh mi is amazing. The roll is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Tons of the pickled carrots and daikon, and just enough jalapeno. The tofu was marinated in garlic. So delicious. The girl who took my order was so friendly. Frankly, the inside of the restaurant isn't much to look at, and they only have 3 tables. I would consider this to be a great place for take out. They also have pretty good Vietnamese iced coffee. It's quite strong. I will definitely be back to try some other dishes, and of course get another banh mi! Great find in Redlands! read more

Ok... first there is no authentic real Vietnamese food around, I don't feel like driving to San Bernardino to the Asian supermarket or to Loma Linda for pho ha when it's down the street from my house. I got the salt Coffee which was Amazing. Beef pho for my wife. Meat ball banh mi for myself... and it taste just like how my grandmother used to make for me when I was younger. Also grabbed some snacks, egg rolls ... and a household favorite fried pork belly with the noodles and veggies. Come here and you won't be disappointed!! Food and service was excellent! Def. Stopped by again to purchase some food with my family. Staff was friendly and attentive. Cơm tấm: 10/10 Rice and meat was hot this time. Great flavors and one of my favorites at any Vietnamese restaurant. This time the dish here didn't disappoint. Pho: 7/10, The pho was okay, Personally I like the flavor of the broth at Pho 77, Noodle 21, Ocean Pho (by Harkins theater), and Pho Ha. Spring Rolls: 10/10 Had to get this again and was great yet again. 2 item plate: 10/10 My wife had the 2 item plate and let me try some of her food, The fried rices was good pretty tasty, the glass noodles was good and had lots of flavor (extra $1 to add this), the lemon grass chicken was on point with flavor and spiciness, the tofu meatball my wife said was really good (I didn't try this). My family wanted to try this place on their way home from shopping. We love Vietnamese food, but we have mixed reviews about the food we ordered. Not pictured was the sandwich that my son ordered. He loved it so much that it was devoured before we even got home. Plus, he loved the Vietnamese coffee which was strong enough to his liking. As for the lemongrass chicken meal, my husband wasn't too impressed because he's had this dish from other restaurants and they shredded their chicken into mouth size portions to eat, while their chicken meat was on the bone. As for taste, this wasn't the best that he had before. He wouldn't order this again. I ate the beef stew side dish. Most of the meat was fat. Some people enjoy eating the fatty parts of beef stew, but I'm not particularly fond of it. My son ended up eating the rest. Their service was fast because we ordered our meals to go. The employees were friendly. For spending almost $40 for our order, my husband and I aren't too impressed to order from here again, but my son would definitely come back for more. read more

I read they make their bread FRESH and I can confirm, the bread is amazing. It's a perfect blend of crunch with a soft interior. The pork was slightly crispy on the outside and tender as well. The guy that picked up my call for the order was the one who attended to me. He was very courteous. My food was packed immediately. The set up is for a to go setting no room for sitting. There was a grocery store. Can I say it is inside a grocery store? No because the food was the main focus of the store. It was neat and the food was well covered. The food was appealing and delicious. The noodles was rice and the broth was the icing on the cake. Did I tell you about the sugarcane juice and the coffee. This place is really good. I haven't tried anything from the seafood menu, but the ban mi, pho and beef stew (my favorite) are delicious. The roasted pork banh mi was delicious. The bread had an amazing crunchy outer texture and soft inner. The outside of the pork had just the right amount of crunch, while the inside was tender. Staff was really friendly and service was quick. The place is called "to go", but there are some seats inside so you can enjoy your meal right away read more

It received high ratings in Yelp, but when we tried it we were disappointed by the quality of food. The food we received were cold, the chicken and pork are dried it seems that its been reheated. The flavors for both chicken and pork are the same and no distinct flavor that will make us come back. Im giving two stars because of nice staff who assisted us. read more

I'm still shaking with anger and shock at what I just witnessed inside this establishment. I work nearby and put in a big order of sandwiches and food for my employees . I watched as a mother with two autistic sons ordered their food and went to sit down to eat. Neither of the kids were a disruption but I watched as the owner walked over to them and told them to pick up their food to leave. From afar I didn't really understand what was going on but walked over to the Mom and asked her. She confirmed that the owner didn't want them eating in the restaurant due to her kids' autism. She left in tears. I then confronted the owner about it who didn't have much to say outside of an apology to me yet I wasn't even the one who was kicked out! He started to seem remorseful when more and more people spoke up and then pleaded with us to not leave bad reviews as his restaurant had just opened up. To me, this was shameless behavior and I told him emphatically I won't ever come back to this place and will tell others to avoid it as well. Hope it was worth it. read more

After having a delicious Banh Mi sandwich we came back today and had iced coffee and beef pho. The iced coffee is outstanding. The pho was delightful and filling, loved the broth, the meat was tender and delicious. The herbs and bean sprouts you add to it were fragrant and fresh along with lime to squeeze on. Hoisin sauce and chili sauce also. Everything you get when dining in for takeout, and it's packaged perfectly! Attention to detail is great. I really appreciate the whole concept of takeout for this business and I'm sure that everything I order will be excellent. Can't wait to come back and try another item on their menu. They are friendly and helpful. Thank you for coming to Redlands. We need this business here and I want them to thrive and do well. read more

The food is so good here! So glad more Vietnamese restaurants and establishments are making their way inland! I want to let everyone know how kind and patient these people are! My daughter and I called very last minute for some food and they actually waited for us to come. They even waited till we arrived then made our food so that the food remained fresh! They literally gave us FRESHLY BAKED bread for the sandwiches!!!! The meat was flavorful and all I can say is I will be back! read more

Tried this place for the first time and was pleased with how everything turned out. The roasted pork Bahn mi was delicious and crispy. We also got the pork and shrimp spring rolls which were super yummy and refreshing. My partner and I also ordered plates and portions were great. Got it with whole milk. It made it creamy, which was good. I did taste a hint of lemon in it as well. Honestly did not like that extra lemon flavor, as it distracted from the Earl Grey itself. I don't think the lemon was necessary. There was citrus flavor, but not tartness. I think citrus peel would have been better if they wanted an extra citrus flavor. INDOOR & OUTDOOR SEATS A-PLENTY Ambiance had a retro feel, which was fun. Indoor was packed! No tables or seats available. Smaller tables for 2. Outdoor tables and seats were available. Big groups can be seated outdoors with larger tables. Bathroom available. PARKING LOT Small-ish parking lot. Parking lot was packed. Given how packed it was inside, there were a few spots for parking. There is also free street parking as well. Love the drink options here and would love to return when I'm in the area!

I ordered a hot rose cardamom latte with oatmilk which was just ok for me, my co-worker ordered an iced strawberry latte with orange cold foam ,but received an iced strawberry matcha instead. Luckily she also likes matcha and it was really good, so she wasn't that disappointed. My other co-workers ordered a hot honey cinnamon cappuccino with oatmilk, an iced golden hour from the spring menu, a cortado and a cinnamon roll. The golden hour was an iced mango lemonade topped with matcha and she loved it. The cortado tasted real authentic according to my other co-worker. The cinnamon roll shared amongst a few of us was to die for! We're definitely coming back.

But they are VERY popular so even today on a Tue around noon it was PACKED we were lucky to find a spot. The sraff is very friendly and answer any questions you have. It's my bday and they wrote happy birthday on my cup . When the staff would pass where we were seated they would tell me HBD which o thought was nice. When we left again one of the staff wished me HBD again and even said bye to my husbad by name. The fact they remembered his name after about an hr and all the dri ks they had made we thought was impressive . Definitely worth coming to get a drink here and hang out with friends or work/study.

I recently visited their soft opening and decided to sample the menu. I tried several dishes, including the grilled pork bánh mì, fresh spring rolls, Nam Nueng rolls, and beef pho. However, my absolute favorite was the beef stew served with bánh mì. The bread is made in-house, ensuring incredible freshness.
