    Pork Belly Sandwich
    Jake N.

Saigon Tapioca made me fall in love with Vietnamese food all over again. Despite only getting a few items and no pho I loved everything I had. The beef spring rolls were amazing. It comes with this sweet and savory brown sauce which makes the rice noodles actually have some flavor. The beef is has a nice bbq crisp to it that makes this a worthwhile appetizer. The Saigon Chicken Wings are massive wings with a nice light crispy outside. The sauce on the wings is got a sweetness to it that many will enjoy. The wings are so big you often have the inner part of the chicken wing unseasoned and flavorless due to the size and not having any of the breading or sauce to complement it. The reason I will be coming back is the bahn mi. I had the pork belly bahn mi and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The pork belly was crisp and fatty and the whole sandwich was a delight. Service was good even though there tends to be a lot of customers come dinner time. The tables are fine but they do have that slight stickiness to them. Price wise the entrees are very cheap compared to most restaurants. I will be coming back for another bahn mi and to try some pho.

I just paid 16$ after tax for this tiny sandwich that is try and mostly bread, if they can't even do a simple sandwich right I don't expect much with their other food.

I love this place! Will definitely be coming back on my next trip to Colorado Springs. Came here specifically for Pho and it caught me by surprise that they also have the Vietnamese Crepes . The customer service was great, peaceful and clean. Also, the gentlemen that took my order offered me a glass of ice water while I waited for my food. Very kind of him. The food was fresh and tasted just right/authentic. I've been looking for Vietnamese Crepes for years and finally was able to tap into my favorite childhood meal. Thank you!!

    Shrimp Spring Rolls

We were in the mood for a good bahn mi and this place had a great rating. We agree. The "combination" bahn mi was delicious and wonderfully stuffed spring roll. We asked for advice on the menu since everything was written in Vietnamese words with little description. We didn't realize we ordered a soup. The waiter ran back to the kitchen to stop the cook. He adjusted the order to a stir fried noodle dish with seafood and vegetables. It was so good. After that we became quite friendly, discussing he being from the Springs and we being from Chicago there on a visit. This is definitely on our list for a return visit.

Great pho and crab rangoons. Service was quick. Iced tea was a bit pricey. I would definitely return.

A12. BBQ Pork Spring Rolls (forgot to take pic before we started eating)

First time here. Staff were super friendly and service was great. We ordered 2 medium pho and 1 bbq pork spring roll plate. They didnt have the choice I wanted, so server was able to adjust the combination to meatballs and brisket. Pork spring roll plate was huge. The medium pho here was like large in Seattle. We did not finish all the food. We ate like 4 spring rolls and still had enough to roll 4 more to bring back to hotel. We also did not get to finish the pho. Last thing I really liked was that the soup broth was not greasy! I've been to places where there is a whole separate layer of fat/grease but here was crisp and clean. I highly recommend and will go back again, although I probably will order small next time.

Food is amazing. The pho broth has great flavor and a heartier taste than the pho we had in the past. Grilled pork sandwich is 1st rate.

I ordered the Messy Sloppy burger which came with corn chowder soup and the Sloppy Mac and Cheese and they were not only delicious but hardy as well. Although the portions could've been a little more but it was pretty filling that I had to take the Mac and cheese in a Togo box. I would like to try more of their menu and it was a plus to know they make their own plant based protection except the few items that mention are made with Beyond Burger. But I was pleasantly surprised and definitely would like to come again.

The dim sum was decent but I've had better for less. We were a bit disappointed because some of the dishes were overcooked. The service was friendly though, and we had a nice experience when they came to pour our tea. The teas we chose, however, were pretty good! The Hot Spot seems to be under Vietnamese ownership, judging from the big Karaoke setup in the middle of the room and the surround music being Vietnamese songs. I'm sure this place becomes lively when there is a party and people take to their singing skills. But on this regular Saturday afternoon, it was not even half filled. Customers have a choice of ordering regular Vietnamese fares or be seated at a hot pot table to enjoy cooking your own food. One nice thing about The Hot Spot is that we weren't limited to 90 min or 2 hours. Could be because it was during a slow time. Food wise it was far from an elaborate hot pot experience. The broths don't have distinctive flavors from one another and there lacks a sauce station! Which is a signature hot pot spot! The meats, when brought out, especially the beef slices, tend to be on the darker hue, to me that signals less fresh. And the booth seats aren't the most comfortable. I think they make shift to turn the booth tables into hot pot compatible where the outlets are in the way of your knees (if you're tall and have long legs) or if short like me, the seats feel sunken. All in all, it was still a fun experience for AYCE hot pot, especially when not under time pressure and the staff is friendly albeit not the fastest.

At the park entrance a 3 $20.00+/- must be purchased and the patron can walk through the park on a paved path or go by electric vehicle to the restaurant (bus and electric vehicle are handicap equipped and provided at no additional cost). The distance from park entrance to the restaurant is about.8 miles ant the scenery is jaw dropping. The park is in a box canyon with sheer walls of between 500 feet and 950 feet and the whole path is through a mature forest with astr running along side. Once at the restaurant youwill find a taste fully furnished restaurant in the mountain retreat style an outdoor covered patio ant the base of the 7 falls. Guests may use elevator to ascend to an observation deck built into the cliff or ascend by stairs along the falls. The restaurant itself serves upscale food for both lunch and dinner. Meal price varies between about 20 dollars per person and 90 dollars per person including beverages and desert. The food is ordered lactate. The staff from mattered to wait staff is outstanding! Many are repeat foreign people from English speaking countries who are trained and very what to provide excellent service. My dining experience from a food service standpoint was not up to Broadmore standards it was in some cases served cold under cooked and missing menu noted ingredients. All unacceptable food was replaced with B other menu items there was a satisfactory bill adjustment and we were provided complementary desserts. We were looking for an outdoor activity that showcased some of the beauty of Colorado along with a meal. Seven Falls and Restaurant 1858 appeared to fit that bill perfectly. The location is stunning. The falls and surrounding areas are gorgeous. It's a nice little physically activity on the way to your meal that allows you to enjoy the outdoors while still being accessible to people of varying ages and fitness levels. I looked at the menu before choosing to come here and was prepared for a large bill with the high prices. The pictures looked phenomenal, and I don't mind paying a high price for the beautiful setting and a delicious meal. But the food was mediocre at best. We ordered the charred brussel sprouts, which appeared steamed or baked and then lidded, with no char or crisp at all. We also got the bacon wrapped shrimp and nachos, which were decent. Kind of insane for $30 for 4 shrimp, but they tasted OK. My daughter ordered the steak and frites, and said it tasted weird. My husband and I tried a bite and it was rancid. The potatoes that came with this steak were the best thing on the table, to be honest. Beautifully crispy and perfectly seasoned. They took the steak back and removed it from the bill, but quite a disappointment. Everyone else's meals were OK, no one was enthusiastic about their dishes, from the hot honey chicken sandwich to the Canyon Bowl. We were hoping none of us would feel any repercussions from the steak that has gone bad. The person who has the Canyon Bowl with pork ended up violently ill for 24 hours beginning 12 hours after consumption. We could blame it on other things they ate, but this was the only thing that they alone ate, and no one else was ill. Considering the condition of the steak, perhaps the refrigeration had gone down for a time? I'm not sure what happened there, but for the price, I really had higher hopes for the meal. If the meal had been a better experience, this is a place we would add to our list of must-do's for out of town guests, but we won't be back, sadly. Side note - You do have to take a shuttle from the parking lot to the entrance to the Seven Falls park, and you do have to pay for entry to the Seven Falls park to access the restaurant. We arrived an hour before our reservation time, as they suggested, and were still 15 minutes late for our reservation, so make sure you allow maybe 1.5 hours.
