The ambience here is incredible and the food was genuinely excellent. The space alone makes you want to come back. That said, the service didn't match the experience. Our server (female, thick square glasses) came off pretty rude and inattentive throughout most of the night. The only time the energy really shifted was when the bill came, which felt a bit disappointing. It was also noticeable that her demeanor toward us felt different compared to other tables. Not sure why, but it did affect the overall experience. I'd still recommend this place for the food and atmosphere, but I do hope the service becomes more consistent.

I have nothing but great things to say about Sake Haus. The fish is extremely fresh, service was attentive on a Sunday night, and the chefs truly know the art of sushi making. I love the very traditional, raw, and small menu. In my experience, that means everything is amazing. And truly, it was. This was the best omakase experience I've ever had. I do wish there was a 10-15 piece option, but everything was so good, ordering twice and a la carte worked just as well. The miso soup was also amazing with the coconut milk and mushrooms added It is a small, intimate restaurant with outdoor seating, so don't bring a big party, but perfect for date night. I will definitely return next time I am in Phoenix and try more of the menu. I'm currently craving it and wish I could go back now

Sake Haus is absolutely amazing and has become my friend groups go to spot for happy hour downtown phx. Nicole was our server, and she was absolutely fantastic! She gave great food and sake recs and made the whole experience even better. I ordered the 808 Roll along with a few others, and every roll was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The quality of the fish is great. Highly recommend if you're looking for great sushi, drinks, and excellent service!

Impeccable vibes at Sake Haus during a recent visit to Phoenix last weekend. The final night of my visit to Scottsdale ended with an overnight in downtown Phoenix. Nested right in the Roosevelt Row district Sake Haus' high reviews caught my eye. Split between a sushi bar and full bar with cozy restaurant seating, vibey red lighting and a cool art mural made for the perfect early dinner following Sunday funday. Music was very on point as well. Very straight forward sushi/nigiri menu, with unlimited Japanese whiskeys and drink options, SH definitely hit the mark. I had the seared scallop and salmon nigiri to start and the bad and buri rolls. The bartender shared all dishes came pre dressed which made for flavorful bites and no need for soy or wasabi. The yellow tail 2 ways on the bad and buri with agauchile sauce on top made for an awesome bite. Paired with the Black Sakura old fashioned, easily the best prepared and balanced cocktail I had all weekend. This team knows what they're doing. Run don't walk to Sake Haus if yourself in the Phoenix area! I'll be back for sure!

Went here for HH after working at the coffee shop next door. I sat at the bar and service was great! The inside was dim lit and nicely decorated. The handrolls were stacked and probably my favorite. The nigiri pieces were pretty big. The specialty ones had accoutrements on top although I honestly prefered the basic ones. The sushi overall was pretty good. The HH prices were great, I'd definitely come again.

I came by myself on a friday evening by rexcomendation of my bartender at Matched in my hotel, and quickly got seated at the bar top in back. The atmosphere in back is dim lighting and fun music. The bartender was super knowledgeable about the food menu and drinks. While their selection of food isnt wide what they do have is phenomenal. I got the Scallop nigiri the miso one was my favorite but the seared one was also yummy. The I got the gold omakase which is in the photo, All of them were amazing and it was great because some of the fish I has never tried before. The drink was also really good but I forgot what it was called.

Started out our Friday night here and from the moment we walked up to the host stand the service was impeccable. The host was so nice and communicative. She sad our party of 5 and our server greeted us with the same amazing attitude. Food was very yummy and fresh and had a cute lil restaurant vibe. We got a bunch of appetizers to split and a few drinks and it was the perfect way to start the night!

Incredible! Nicole was a phenomenal waiter who made us feel so welcome! The rest of the staff was so kind and attentive as well. the KITSUNE was one of the best things I've tasted.

Came here after a baseball game and was seated immediately and the vibe was so welcoming. We have never been and the reviews looked so good. Glad we tried it. We got seated in the back and ordered some drinks and food. The host explained all the specials of the day and her recommendations. Drinks: Make it tiki matcha marg and rita toki-yo sour passion fruit sake Food: Ryujin The 808 The Ronin The kitsune Bad and Buri

Great sushi spot in Roosevelt row. They have a nice small outdoor patio and a cool seating area inside, especially further in the back. Greta cocktails and sushi rolls too. Shoutout to the servers they're are so helpful.

Very good, only sad thing is that they were out of our first picks for food (ran out of certain types of fish). The alternative recommendations our server gave were good though! The akuma was amazing!

This is high-end sushi in a fun punk-rock atmosphere. They have a wide variety and the waitstaff is happy to answer questions and make recommendations. I took a relative who just moved here from the LA area, whose favorite food is sushi, and he was impressed. It is on the pricier side.

Harumi has some great seafood flown in every day and I cant say enough about how great their Omakase is which I believe is only offered after 6pm. They have amazing sake bombers and also recommend the Unagi Don bown. Sushi can be pricey but for a great offering of sashimi and nigiri, I cant say it breaks the bank. They also have a wide range of rolls that the kids love as well as a flaming one done table side which is fun to watch. They also have real wasabi for just two dollars more which is well worth it. I also recommend happy hour for cheap damage, squid salad, and aforementioned sake bombers. Really a great option if you are staying downtown but also worth the trip from anywhere in the valley. Upon arrival, the place doesn't look like anything special. It's inside a strip mall, and looks mediocre. However, do not judge too soon. Once you get inside, everything is well laid out & it's very nice. It was busy when we went in on a Friday night, BUT we got seated quicker than estimated- which is always a win! I was not happy with where we were seated, as it was facing the wall in the small bar area. We are people watchers by nature, so it's always fun to be in a spot where we can look around the room effortlessly. However, it wasn't the end of the world and I certainly didn't want to wait any longer, the food looked wonderful & I was starving! I do not remember exactly which rolls we got, but... all of them were EXCELLENT!! Everything was undoubtedly fresh, and made with quality ingredients. I thought the black rice was really neat! I've never seen that before. The waitstaff were very friendly and accommodating. It took no time at all to get our orders out, which was impressive considering that the place was packed near capacity! As we left, all of the sushi pros behind the glass thanked us for coming in and wished us a great rest of our evening. I thought that was very kind. It's not very often that you find a whole line of people stopping what they are doing to wish you well on your way out of their establishment. All in all, 10/10 experience! I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Sushi!

Definitely a vibe for anime lovers! Food-wise, we started with the gyoza and they were delicious. Perfectly cooked and even better dipped in the ponzu sauce! We also tried the sushi flight, which was a great way to sample a few different flavors. Overall, I really enjoyed it, although the eel was probably my least favorite of the flight just personal preference. The crispy tuna rice was easily the star of the meal! Crispy, flavorful, and the textures worked so well together. I would 100% order that again. The ramen, however, was just okay for me. It wasn't bad or inedible, but the broth was lacking that rich, deep flavor I look for in a good bowl of ramen. A little more depth and seasoning would really take it to the next level. The service was honestly one of the highlights. Our waiter was super friendly, cool, and attentive without hovering, which I always appreciate. Overall, there were definitely more hits than misses. The great service, fun atmosphere, and crispy tuna rice are enough for me to give Full Moon Izakaya another try. Next time, I'll be exploring more of the menu!
