Solid. Have only been her for lunch a few times - usually for sandwiches or burgers. HUGE menu. Good service. Generous lobster roll ($27!) , good cheesesteak, wings, and beverages. $82 with tip. Give them a try!

Another great experience! From hostess, waitress Annie to the incredible Chef who prepared our food, everything was fabulous! A group of us (five) stopped in for dinner, seated in the extra room area which is very comfortable, attractive and convenient. Everyone was happy with our orders, especially me who chanced the Sea Scallops Rockefeller, sautéed PERFECTLY, nestled in a sweet bisque-like sauce along with spinach and toasted crumbles. If no one was around, I would have licked the plate lol; it was that good!! Kudos to their team, its no surprise this restaurant was bustling on a Monday evening.

Very inviting space . Can get busy at peak hours (5-7). Food is fantastic , Mac & cheese was delish . The buff tenders are up there with some of the best . The prime rib is 10/10. Bartenders are always very attentive & professional. Highly recommend

Heather F made us the perfect espresso martini!!! We will be back for sure for her great Cocktails!

My daughter lives in Tiverton and I have been in the Sakonnet Grill a few times while visiting here. The service has always been very good on my visits. The menu is interesting and has lots of great options. The inside and atmosphere is cozy and inviting but does not have any particular style. The drinks have always been tasty and perfect on my visits. The bar staff has always tended to be particularly friendly and efficient on my visits. The food has always been great too, ... and that is the reason to visit Sakonnet. On my last visit I ordered the Mediterranean Medley with Salmon. We have ordered mussels and shrimp on other visits. Nothing I have ordered off the menu has disappointed. I would be happy to go back to Sakonnet River Grille anytime.

Went here with a large group back in October who all had different wants and cravings for dinner... Found this place and decided to give it a try! It's a nicely lit, clean restaurant with great service, I am amazed they were able to accommodate such a big party so quickly. The menu had quite the large variety of options and all looked quite good, they even had a seasonal menu! I sampled quite a few of everyone's dishes but only took pictures of what my partner and I ordered and WOW was it superb. The BEST macaroni I have had and an absolutely delicious cajun pasta. I tried their clam chowder as well and as someone who hates shellfish that was the best soup I've ever put in my mouth. Didn't taste fishy like all the chowder I tried around the Boston area (Though I think this is Rhode Island?) and was very flavorful and rich. There wasn't a single complaint around the table about the meal, price was reasonable, portions were good, flavor was perfect! I will make the trip again next time I am in the area.

My last review stated that Sakonnet River Grill had to do some serious work to redeem themselves. We got takeout a couple of times since then, and it was better, but tonight's takeout was amazing! Even on the ride home it smelled so good that I wanted to pull over and eat it right there! I decided on the Pirate's Cove Seafood Pasta. It was loaded with sea scallops, a ton of lobster, shrimp, and the most delicious lobster cream sauce! We all know that the worst thing about takeout is getting home with cold food. Not the case tonight, it was nearly hot enough to burn your mouth! So this takeout was probably the best seafood dish that I have had in a long time, and it was takeout on top of it all. Now I can say that I am truly looking forward to coming back here again!

Absolutely beautiful dining atmosphere…read more We called last minute for reservations and they were fully booked but managed to get our party of 4 on the south patio which is covered. The views were beautiful. We started with cocktails at one of the high top tables- to note there isn't service to these tables we had to bring the drinks from the bar. The parking lot was packed. Testament to a restaurant to be this busy on a Monday night. The food was excellent- well prepared and flavorful. We shared a desert. Everything was well prepared and the flavors were spot on. Our server was maybe overloaded as it was pretty packed. The drinks were ok. I feel like they are more of an overpriced novelty. I recommend wine instead. The food was also overpriced as well. I wish I took a picture of my salad. I got the wedge salad which was just two small pieces of lettuce which was also a quarter inedible. They charged me 30 dollars for a tiny "salad" that didn't even have all the ingredients/garnishes it was said to come with and the smallest slice of salmon I've ever seen. I was actually laughing at this. It took me all of 5 min to eat my "meal". The calamari was also soggy and imo not cooked well. The shrimp and corn fritters were sooooo good! I recommend them!

I had the osso bocco. It was a large portion , falling off the bone deliciously seasoned with a tasty spinach, grits underneath. I enjoyed every bite. I was sorry I couldn't eat it all! I shared some with others telling them how delicious it was. My friend ordered the bolognese entree which she says is the best she has ever had. Their eggplant parm sandwich was recommended as well. My husband had the shrimp fettuccine, also delicious. The kids like their chicken tenders. Hostess was friendly and sat us right away. Waiter was so nice. Took drink orders and brought everything out efficiently. Checked if we needed anything. He was great with the kids. When we complimented him on our food, he was pleased. It looks that the restaurant is adequately staffed so that the service is excellent. Ambience is good. Moderate noise but has a pleasant hum. If you like thick clam chowder, this is it. For meals we opted to split the honey, hot chicken sandwich and a buffalo chicken pizza. Not gonna lie, the bowl of chowder was pretty big, and I was pretty full by the time I was done with it. The honey hot chicken sandwich is more like a honey mustard chicken. It was still pretty good, but if you are expecting hot honey, this is not it. I opted to have the blue cheese on the side with the pizza, because my husband doesn't like blue cheese. The buffalo chicken pizza was actually really delicious. It was like a bar pizza that you would get from the south shore. You really can't find this pizza in Rhode Island or in Southern MA, so this was a great find. Staff were friendly and attentive. I didn't get any alcoholic drinks cause it was pretty early and not much of a day drinker, but it had a really good vibe and I'm sure it's a lot of fun at night. The drink menu looked really good so I'll likely come back for drinks and apps. There's a cute outdoor seating area. It was pretty hot so we sat inside, but I'm sure this is a great place to sit at night time once the sun goes down and it cools off.
