Atmosphere was pretty stale felt very unauthentic and the bar needs some more attention no bartender with about 5 employees in the front. Found this place on rainy day! We went in and just learnt that we need to order at the reception kiosk. The lady mentioned that someone will call when order is ready plus there will be text message and we may sit anywhere. In fact we didn't receive text instead someone was delivering it to us. I am not sure how this place has an "A" posted on the window but there are definitely some things of concern with this establishment. Here are a few of my observations, which may not be nothing to anyone else, but it definitely needs to be brought up and you should be made aware in case these things bother you. 1 - The staff that serve you and the staff that cooked your food, all have tattoos on their face, neck and with nose piercings. If you want Gothic staff to serve your "Asian" food and take your orders then this is the place for you. I find it also odd as this is supposed to be an Asian restaurant that serves delicious Ramen but the complete opposite. Perhaps it was just the day I went, but not one Asian person working here and about 25 workers, which I believe are way too many people there for the job. 2. The bathrooms. These bathrooms are horrid. Or should I say that one single bathroom that is available is absolutely trashed out and smells like something out of a downtown public restroom you would find in the ghetto. I actually feel that a public restroom at a beach is probably cleaner than these. The thought of having to be in these restrooms knowing that it's right next to the kitchen, makes me wonder. If you're gonna let your bathrooms go this bad with graffiti and stains on the wall, etc. then I can't see how that kitchen would be any cleaner. 3 - cockroaches! Outside, there is about 10 tables that you can sit at where many of the tables at least the two that I checked are wobbly and not adjusted, including missing slots on the seats, which will not lie to sit down safely. There's also tons of roaches all around the area, which goes to make me think that if they're outside like that that kitchen has to have them as well. 4 - Homelessness. You're in an area with a high population of homelessness around. So if you think you're in the mood for Ramen and don't have a problem being around dirty homeless people, then so be it. Overall give this place a two out of 10 in my experience. If you want something authentic and for the price, you should definitely consider Orange County and look elsewhere. And to be perfectly honest, I'm surprised this place has not been reported. Yet! read more

We had to order at the front and couldn't sit in certain areas because of broken benches. When the food finally came out, I was disappointed. My ramen was lukewarm at best -- the egg was cold, the noodles were room temperature, and only the broth had any real warmth. For the price, it felt like reheated leftovers. Overall, it didn't feel worth my money. Unless you're okay with inconsistent quality and a less-than-pleasant dining environment, you might want to try somewhere else.
