I wanted to love this place so much!!! I'm not sure if staff just wanted to get out of there early (we came at 5, they close at 6) for New Year's Eve or what but I definitely got the annoyed vibe. Definitely not friendly and not helpful but I'll give it another shot. My husband got the Thai salad and it was delish! There's definitely not enough dressing for the amount of salad so I'd suggest getting another one or do like he did and take out half the lettuce. I ordered the fajita salad and was so disappointed! The chicken tasted canned, definitely not enough dressing and toppings didn't add any flavor unfortunately. It really just fell flat for me. The salads really are enough for two people if you add extra meat. Thankfully I ordered a side of roasted beets and those were excellent! We also ordered a cold brew and haven't tried it yet but they're $1.50 so either way you won't hear any complaints from me. I won't be rushing back anytime soon but eventually I'll give it another try. read more

I recently went back to Salad and Go. I again tried the Cobb salad with creamy blue cheese dressing. It was very good. So fresh and delicious. I really like the bowl it comes in. It's so large that you can put the dressing in and shank it to distribute the dressing. Then I don't use a whole lot. I used the driver through and the ladies working were very nice. They confirmed my order and made sure I got the correct salad. Since this building is only a drive through, there was no place to sit. When you go expect to not stay. They do have a walk up window as well if that is what you would like to do. read more

I ordered a Greek salad today with chicken. They told me they didn't have greens so were going to substitute with spring mix. I get to the window and they said "we are also out of tomatoes". They did add extra olives in their place. When I went to eat my salad later I noticed the olives, cucumber and chicken did not look or taste fresh. Olives were wrinkly, cucumbers were half fresh looking and half dark, not crispy, chicken tasted days old. Not happy with my experience today. This is two visits in a row that I got nasty looking produce. Last weeks breakfast bowl had brown spots all over my avocado slices. I'm giving them one more try and calling it quits if it happens again. They have been very good in the past so I'm not sure what is going on. read more

So happy this location is finally open! I fell in love with Salad and Go when I lived in DFW and cannot express how excited I was to see that they were opening in San Antonio! Went here today with a coworker and got both the Autumn and Cobb salads with chicken and 2 cold brew coffees with oat milk for under $20! Y'all, that is pricing that cannot be beat literally anywhere in the SA area. The salads were made to order, fresh, and filling with generous amounts of both lettuce and toppings. The workers were friendly and clearly happy to be working now that the location has opened up, which I really appreciated. Will be back every single week! read more

The line was long but that is to be expected with this highly anticipated opening. They moved through as quickly as they could and were really sweet. My salad was HUGE. I got a Greek salad with no olives or feta add chicken and I couldn't finish it. Even the kids salad was really big. I love salad and know how much the dressing makes or breaks it and their creamy Greek dressing is amazing. I do wish it came with a little bit more but that's just because I liked it so much. The prices are incredible which is feel is rare for a healthy meal. Will definitely be a staple in our household from here on out. read more

I am THE BIGGEST Salad and Go fan. I'm talking, found them in AZ, begged for them to open in NV now thrilled they're in my hometown of SA. I actually had them last week in Vegas, then realized they were down the street from my mom's house in Texas, and insisted on taking her here for dinner - and she's already been back twice. What's not to love about this place? Concise menu of salads, everything can be made as a wrap, prices are low as heck - we got three salads, two wraps and two drinks for $43.30. The math isn't even mathing, it's such a good deal. The drive thru only concept keeps their overhead low, and I love how they have seasonal specials and the occasional deal - I am here often enough that I wish they had a loyalty club but their prices are already as low as they can get. We got the cobb salad (w/ranch), autumn salad (double sweet potato, they were out of brussels sprouts), and bbq ranch salad, a buffalo chicken wrap and a fajita wrap, the blueberry drink and an Arnold palmer - everyone was happy AND we had leftovers. So happy to have this spot available for fast, healthy and affordable eating even when I'm traveling. read more

Salad and Go is fantastic. I live nearby and was so bummed seeing it built because I wanted a coffee shop. But I walked over one day and got the Sweet Heat breakfast bowl, a seasonal special. It's a good concept that is definitely cheaper than some of the healthier restaurants in the area. The fajita wrap was good. The downfall was the description doesn't mention onions. I first pulled in and was very confused how the drive thru worked and it was a tight squeeze. I ordered a Caesar wrap. When I got home I was shocked how small it was, and I admittedly have small hands so it looks bigger than it is lol. The flavor of the dressing was good and the chicken wasn't bad, however there was little lettuce and way too many croutons. Next time I'd order without the croutons. Lettuce was brown, tomatoes were soft and had wrinkles. The protein was cut so small you didn't know it was there. But the worst was the ranch dressing. It was warm and the plastic pack it was in swelling like it had been left out of the refrigerator all day. When we called the store the manager said thats what they've been sending him. The breakfast burrito I ordered was the most disgusting abomination of texture and flavor, that was somehow mushy, dry, sticky and bland all at the same time. I can't speak for their salads, but I'm glad I had a coupon for a free breakfast burrito because I would have asked for a refund otherwise. Horrible business strategy to have people come to your restaurant for a free meal and then have their first impression of the place be that they can't nail the one of the most simple and delicious creations, a breakfast burrito. The Good: The salad tasted good and consisted of a great mix of green lettuce, not cheap iceberg lettuce. The Bad: The layout is awful. It took way too long to figure out how to get to the drive-thru lane. I spent another 10 minutes waiting in the drive thru line, only to be directed to the opposite side of the building to another window, where I had to wait again. The employee working the drive thru literally could've handed me my order from the cooler but instead sent me around the corner so a different employee could hand it to me lol. This store is new and kinks need to be worked out; I hope signage to direct customers to the appropriate window is on the agenda because it's desperately needed. read more

I love their food, but I'm not going there anymore because the drive-through at my closest location Bell/Tatum is ridiculously tight. I hit the curb and it really jacked up my expensive rim. At first I was beating myself up for scraping the curb, but then I looked where I had hit and there were tons of marks from other people hitting too.
