    Cobb salad
    Catherine L.

Cobb salad has a hearty portion of mixed greens, 2 cherry tomatoes, boiled egg, sprinkle of bacon bits and avocado. Large bowl and hooded top is a nice concept to toss salad but dressing is watery and other ingredients missing for a true Cobb salad. Salad is like an airport food item.

I ordered a Greek salad today with chicken. They told me they didn't have greens so were going to substitute with spring mix. I get to the window and they said "we are also out of tomatoes". They did add extra olives in their place. When I went to eat my salad later I noticed the olives, cucumber and chicken did not look or taste fresh. Olives were wrinkly, cucumbers were half fresh looking and half dark, not crispy, chicken tasted days old. Not happy with my experience today. This is two visits in a row that I got nasty looking produce. Last weeks breakfast bowl had brown spots all over my avocado slices. I'm giving them one more try and calling it quits if it happens again. They have been very good in the past so I'm not sure what is going on.

So happy this location is finally open! I fell in love with Salad and Go when I lived in DFW and cannot express how excited I was to see that they were opening in San Antonio! Went here today with a coworker and got both the Autumn and Cobb salads with chicken and 2 cold brew coffees with oat milk for under $20! Y'all, that is pricing that cannot be beat literally anywhere in the SA area. The salads were made to order, fresh, and filling with generous amounts of both lettuce and toppings. The workers were friendly and clearly happy to be working now that the location has opened up, which I really appreciated. Will be back every single week!

Kids salad, Greek salad, ceasar salad with buffalo chicken

The line was long but that is to be expected with this highly anticipated opening. They moved through as quickly as they could and were really sweet. My salad was HUGE. I got a Greek salad with no olives or feta add chicken and I couldn't finish it. Even the kids salad was really big. I love salad and know how much the dressing makes or breaks it and their creamy Greek dressing is amazing. I do wish it came with a little bit more but that's just because I liked it so much. The prices are incredible which is feel is rare for a healthy meal. Will definitely be a staple in our household from here on out.

Very good frozen strawberry lemonade and Thai wrap. I love the freshness of everything and the dressing was so so so good.

Really simple, but great menu options and quick service! The drive thru set up is a little confusing. I tried the cobb salad, pot pie soup, and cucumber mint Arnold Palmer. Soup was a bit undercooked for my liking but would still come back again!

A quick and healthy option, sign me up! We, like most, have been waiting for this place to open for a while. On my way home after a long day I decided a quick and healthy dinner was in order. I first pulled in and was very confused how the drive thru worked and it was a tight squeeze. I ordered a Caesar wrap. When I got home I was shocked how small it was, and I admittedly have small hands so it looks bigger than it is lol. The flavor of the dressing was good and the chicken wasn't bad, however there was little lettuce and way too many croutons. Next time I'd order without the croutons. Wish they offered different size wraps too. I would try again, but it wasn't the best first impression.

I was able to order ahead and customize my wrap. The wrap was huge, and full of flavor. I am so happy this opened up near me. A delicious, fresh and fast option.

I was so excited to see this location open! I love all of the options of salads and was so excited to see the wraps too. I haven't tired any drinks yet but it was an amazing salad, great price and made fast! I ordered on the app.

At first I didn't like the color of the soup but the chicken pot pie is tasty and only 150 calories. The salads are good too.

I added black pepper and it helped. My chai latte with oatmilk and a little caramel topped the meal off. Oh, and I ordered some beignets to-go. I remember those being good. I got 3 classics and 1 stuffed with peaches and cream. The music was a mixture between jazz, r&b, and a little funk. It added a nice touch on this rainy morning, especially jamming to James Brown. The hotness was friendly and looked like she was ready for her day. And Sara, our waitress, had a nice disposition early in the morning. She was pleasant, friendly, and efficient.

I had my family join me for brunch, and unfortunately, it left us with questions. The biggest question was, "Where was the favor?" I knew I wouldn't like the chicory coffee, yet there was another option available that I enjoyed more that was a decaf. The child's plate was one of the worst kid's meal values I've seen in a while. It was $10 for one tender and a beignet. The tender was small and left my child wanting more, so I paid $7 for an extra tender. Please consider a plate that has two tenders and fruit or potatoes for older kids since this was sized for a toddler. The $10 Doggy Meal looked like it could have provided that option since it came with grilled chicken, sweet potato, and steamed rice. The adult plates had enough food for an actual meal, so we shared our plates with my child who only wanted more chicken and potatoes at that point. The Bayou BLT was okay, yet nothing to rave about. My husband wasn't impressed with the Blue Crab Omelette, and my aunt said her Catfish St. Charles was very bland. We all had an order of beignets that were tough and chewy. My husband and I have had freshly baked and powdered beignets at Cafe Du Moude, so these tiny versions were a tough sell. What did have flavor? The Bananas Foster pancakes, which was the better dessert option. While the restaurant itself was cute, expect table service to be long. We constantly waited for waitstaff to return to refill coffee, bring napkins, or furnish a needed utensil. Also, the parking will be tight. We were lucky to get spots adjacent to the restaurant rather than offsite, yet you will be watched like a hawk when you attempt to leave. People want those spots. If you want the feel of brunch with okay-ish food at expensive prices, come to NOLA the restaurant. If you're expecting to relive the actual taste of NOLA the city, start booking your next getaway for the real deal.

A Perfect Return to Where Our Forever Began My husband and I…read moregot married at Hotel Valencia one year ago, so getting to return this weekend to celebrate our first wedding anniversary was incredibly special. As part of our wedding package, they were incredibly generous and included two complimentary nights at the hotel and dinner at Dorrego's for us to celebrate. They are truly the absolute best at what they do and really know how to celebrate their guests! Returning to the very place where we said "I do" was already emotional enough, but Hotel Valencia somehow made the experience even more memorable than our first stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff was exactly as we remembered them: kind, attentive, professional, thoughtful, and genuinely wonderful. Our room was absolutely gorgeous, and when we walked in on our first day, we found the sweetest surprise waiting for us: a bottle of champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, and a congratulations message written in chocolate on the plate. I actually teared up a little! It was such a thoughtful and adorable gesture that truly made us feel seen, celebrated, and cared for. There is something so special about Hotel Valencia. The environment is exceptional, the service is always outstanding, and even their gorgeous signature scent instantly brings us back to memories of love, celebration, and adventure. Every little detail feels intentional and memorable. I am so incredibly thankful that we chose Hotel Valencia as the place to celebrate both our wedding and our first anniversary. It will forever hold such a special place in our hearts, and we cannot wait to return again and make even more memories there. Thank you, Hotel Valencia, for helping make two of the most meaningful celebrations of our lives absolutely unforgettable!

A Wonderful Stay at Hotel Valencia!…read more We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Valencia on the San Antonio River Walk! The location is perfect step out the front door and you're right in downtown San Antonio. From the hotel restaurant, you can take the stairs or elevator directly down to the River Walk, which makes getting around so easy and convenient. What we especially loved is that this hotel has so much character and charm. It doesn't feel like one of those cookie-cutter chain hotels. We had a balcony, although it was simply too hot during our visit to sit outside and enjoy it. I'm sure it would be wonderful on a cooler evening! The bar and restaurant were both excellent, and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming. A special shout-out to the valet guys they provided wonderful service and were always so helpful. Great location, beautiful atmosphere, delicious food and drinks, and exceptional service. We would definitely stay here again when we're back in San Antonio!
