Food is excellent here. Lunch special Monday -Friday 11:30 - 3:00 is worth driving to. Service is excellent with Carina or Gabriel . Nicest servers. Restaurant is nice and clean . Chips and salsa is nice and fresh. Sorry forgot picture.

Food was great! I got the chicken enchiladas and the salsa on top was amazing. The lady who served us was very helpful and quick. The place is very open and often empty. The flan was the best!!!!!

Came here for a gathering with friends. Our party was large; if you plan on bringing your crew, they will accommodate but do put in reservations. They will do separate checks but not individual ones for a party as large as ours. The food was great; everyone e around me gave two thumbs up on their respective orders and my flautas were delicious. A tucked away find in the hills of Palos Verdes if you're craving Mexican!

Stopped in here for Sunday lunch, we live on the hill but don't frequent Lunada bay often. We have been wanting to check out this little section of Lunada and we are glad we did. We decided to give salsa verdes a try as we walked around. Located in the center of a building, right in that little downtown area. We ordered mole enchiladas and shrimp tacos. The shrimp was plentiful and huge, and the mole had great seasoning! We got our daughter steak tacos and she ate them right up. Our waiter was nice and the service was quick. I always say how much I wish PV had more restaurants on the hill, so I am thankful for salsa verdes! We will visit again!

Got the grilled steak burrito wet with both red and green sauce, it was fantastic. The steak was cooked to perfection. Sauces brought flavor without drowning it, and the whole thing held together better than I expected. Big portion. Nice touch of guacamole, sour cream and salsa on the side. Had churros for dessert with French vanilla ice cream. Crispy outside, soft inside, and the ice cream was a nice touch. Washed it all down with a Jamaica, which wasn't overly sweet, Highly recommend.

Tried this spot for the first time, and it did not disappoint! It's a charming restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, a lovely patio, and even some ocean views from inside. The staff is warm, welcoming, and super accommodating. The salsa was decent but a bit too mild for my taste. For the mains, we went with the grilled steak burrito with red sauce and the chile verde burrito with green sauce--both were absolutely massive and packed with flavor. We also tried the Sizzling Sea Bass Veracruz, served over green rice with Veracruz sauce and vegetables on a hot skillet--delicious! Overall, it was a satisfying meal and worth the visit!

Tucked away in Lunada Bay, sits this gem. My date brought her dog and although it was a cool night, we sat outside and enjoyed the warmth from the burners. I ordered the shrimp taco plate and there was plenty enough to take home. The tacos were plump and the shrimp themselves springy and juicy. Can't forget about the complimentary chips and salsa too! Her dog got up a couple of times which I'm sure may have been annoying to the staff, but they were so accommodating and friendly, we really appreciated it! Would definitely come back!

Salsa Verde in Lunada Bay is hands down my go-to spot. The Baja Shrimp Burrito Wet Style is unreal. It's the kind of meal you think about days later. The sauce, the flavor, the perfect bite every time. The owner and staff are beyond friendly, always making sure you feel welcome. The patio is perfect for sunny days, and they even treat my pups like VIP guests with little bites of their own. The portions are generous, the vibe is easy, and the food hits every time. If you're anywhere near Lunada Bay, this place is a must. You'll be hooked after one visit

First time at this place. The crispy tacos with a choice of beef or chicken were amazing. Simple delicious! The margaritas were tasty. The burrito was huge burp! The chips and salsa were endless. The view is simple beautiful and you can see the ocean for miles. The service was superb. They were on top of their game. We will definitely go back for a visit.

Big burritos and great for those of you who prefer less spice. Service is excellent and on time and the ambiance is very fitting for a beach city! Muchas gracias!

Pretty good food! I got the carnitas burrito (wet) and I found it to be satisfactory. If I were to do it again, I wouldn't get the burrito wet. I found the sauce to be my least favorite part of it. Staff was attentive, and the dining area wasn't too loud which is good.

I've been here before, and the birria tacos were exactly what I needed for a late-night craving. Crispy on the outside with a good amount of filling and strong flavor - they really hit the spot. I ended up having four of them. The consomé on the side was really good too - rich and flavorful, almost something I could've just had on its own. The street tacos were solid. The carnitas had that tender, slightly crisp texture, and the al pastor added a bit more seasoning and contrast. Nothing overcomplicated, just straightforward and satisfying. Service was friendly, and the setup is quick and casual. In the South Bay where places tend to close early, it was nice that they were open until around 10pm. The chicken flautas appetizer were filled with lots of tasty chicken. I cannot express how tender the Carne Asada was. In fact our waiter came back with a steak knife, and we never needed it. The steak could be cut with a butter knife, melted in our mouths and was perfectly flavored. Apparently all their Carne Asada plates come with a small tamale that has so much filling and flavor we were so pleasantly surprised with the opportunity to try their tamale. The cheese enchilada with Verde sauce was a huge portion and very tasty. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and decided to sit outside, which felt perfect for a Sunday evening. We each ordered Orden De Tacos -- which is two tacos with rice and beans -- which seems simple enough. But after a while, we started noticing that people who arrived after us were ordering, getting their food, eating, paying, and leaving while we were still waiting. Again, all we had ordered was four tacos total, plus rice and beans. About 50 minutes after we placed our order, I finally got up to ask our waiter if he could check on our food because it had been such a long wait. If they were too busy (there were a lot of people, but not absurdly so), that's where communication could have gone a long way. Even just stopping by to acknowledge the delay or apologize for the wait would have made the experience feel very different. In the end, it took nearly an hour to get our four tacos from the time we ordered it, and the wait wasn't mentioned by staff at all. The food was okay in the end, but the experience definitely left us disappointed.

We ordered a few tacos off the happy hour menu: fish taco, fried shrimp taco, chicken mole, and asada. Did not expect them to be as big as they were! Between two of us, we were stuffed from 4 tacos and could barely finish them. I really liked the chicken mole. I thought that the addition of the slivered almonds, pepitas and radishes was a delicious touch that really enhanced the texture with a bit of crunch.
