Shrimp Enchiladas + Chicken Mole Enchilada w. Chili Relleno.

Absolutely delicious. Wanted Mexican and this was the closest restaurant to where we were staying. Service was genuine and accommodating. Would highly recommend the shrimp enchiladas and the chili relleno / mole chicken enchilada combo.

Beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean! Came in on a Wednesday afternoon and it was a small crowd. The waitress was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Food was excellent! The salsa was a perfect amount of spicy, the mole was delicious, and the crunchy tacos were filling.

Stopped in here for Sunday lunch, we live on the hill but don't frequent Lunada bay often. We have been wanting to check out this little section of Lunada and we are glad we did. We decided to give salsa verdes a try as we walked around. Located in the center of a building, right in that little downtown area. We ordered mole enchiladas and shrimp tacos. The shrimp was plentiful and huge, and the mole had great seasoning! We got our daughter steak tacos and she ate them right up. Our waiter was nice and the service was quick. I always say how much I wish PV had more restaurants on the hill, so I am thankful for salsa verdes! We will visit again!

Came here for a gathering with friends. Our party was large; if you plan on bringing your crew, they will accommodate but do put in reservations. They will do separate checks but not individual ones for a party as large as ours. The food was great; everyone e around me gave two thumbs up on their respective orders and my flautas were delicious. A tucked away find in the hills of Palos Verdes if you're craving Mexican!

Got the grilled steak burrito wet with both red and green sauce, it was fantastic. The steak was cooked to perfection. Sauces brought flavor without drowning it, and the whole thing held together better than I expected. Big portion. Nice touch of guacamole, sour cream and salsa on the side. Had churros for dessert with French vanilla ice cream. Crispy outside, soft inside, and the ice cream was a nice touch. Washed it all down with a Jamaica, which wasn't overly sweet, Highly recommend.

Food was great! I got the chicken enchiladas and the salsa on top was amazing. The lady who served us was very helpful and quick. The place is very open and often empty. The flan was the best!!!!!

Tried this spot for the first time, and it did not disappoint! It's a charming restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, a lovely patio, and even some ocean views from inside. The staff is warm, welcoming, and super accommodating. The salsa was decent but a bit too mild for my taste. For the mains, we went with the grilled steak burrito with red sauce and the chile verde burrito with green sauce--both were absolutely massive and packed with flavor. We also tried the Sizzling Sea Bass Veracruz, served over green rice with Veracruz sauce and vegetables on a hot skillet--delicious! Overall, it was a satisfying meal and worth the visit!

Tucked away in Lunada Bay, sits this gem. My date brought her dog and although it was a cool night, we sat outside and enjoyed the warmth from the burners. I ordered the shrimp taco plate and there was plenty enough to take home. The tacos were plump and the shrimp themselves springy and juicy. Can't forget about the complimentary chips and salsa too! Her dog got up a couple of times which I'm sure may have been annoying to the staff, but they were so accommodating and friendly, we really appreciated it! Would definitely come back!

Salsa Verde in Lunada Bay is hands down my go-to spot. The Baja Shrimp Burrito Wet Style is unreal. It's the kind of meal you think about days later. The sauce, the flavor, the perfect bite every time. The owner and staff are beyond friendly, always making sure you feel welcome. The patio is perfect for sunny days, and they even treat my pups like VIP guests with little bites of their own. The portions are generous, the vibe is easy, and the food hits every time. If you're anywhere near Lunada Bay, this place is a must. You'll be hooked after one visit

First time at this place. The crispy tacos with a choice of beef or chicken were amazing. Simple delicious! The margaritas were tasty. The burrito was huge burp! The chips and salsa were endless. The view is simple beautiful and you can see the ocean for miles. The service was superb. They were on top of their game. We will definitely go back for a visit.

There is a good amount of chorizo and egg; however, for my preferences, it was light on the crispy hash browns and mine was pretty heavy on the melty cheese. Their red salsa is really flavorful, however, and that amplifies the flavors. I definitely would come back if I were in the area, in order to try their tacos, burritos, and ceviches. I've been here before, and the birria tacos were exactly what I needed for a late-night craving. Crispy on the outside with a good amount of filling and strong flavor - they really hit the spot. I ended up having four of them. The consomé on the side was really good too - rich and flavorful, almost something I could've just had on its own. The street tacos were solid. The carnitas had that tender, slightly crisp texture, and the al pastor added a bit more seasoning and contrast. Nothing overcomplicated, just straightforward and satisfying. Every bite was full of flavor and ample cheese. The bacon was crispy and delicious. Another nice thing I noticed was the 4% discount for cash. I like the carrot vs. stick approach. Plus the lady working the counter was friendly and attentive. The few things that seemed odd was that they gave me one 2 oz paper cup for their salsa bar that featured at least 6 different salsas. I applaud the use of paper over plastic, but may I suggest giving a few, or just leave the cups next to the salsa and let the patron choose. The salsa was good, but the paper cup started to loose its strength as I used it and refilled it. Another idea is to find some inexpensive, washable mini bowls to use instead. The other slightly odd think was the lack of napkins. I was given a plastic bowl with chips, and then my burrito was delivered to my table when it was ready. Neither was served with napkins. When I looked around for them, I didn't see any so I went to the cashier and asked for some. I was handed one napkin. I'd prefer to get at least one delivered with the chips and/or main food purchase. When back in the area, I'm willing to pay another visit. I'll try to order the tacos, which I hear are good.

Today was the asada vVda burrito. Deassada was fresh, tender and juicy with lots of flavor. All the other ingredients blended well. It was on a smaller side but just enough. Albondigas was the worst of the order. It was hardly a soup that brought savory broth feeling and tender meatballs that comfort you. Instead the broth was super bland, meatballs were flavorless and too firm to cut with the. Had lots of veggies which was a plus if you like sweet with veggies which I do. I just wish they were also tender, swimming and good broth. Most restaurant serve fresh chips and salsa which they did. Complimentary chips were hard. This also was too heavy on oregano. Ordered some guacamole but had to ounce for them to cook fresh tosadas so we could eat with the guac instead of the hard chips. $14 wasn't too bad for the price and the portion. I did enjoy the one fish taco that I ordered. Was huge portion but stacked so high that you could barely close the tortilla. This is the first time I bought a flour. Tortilla worked well for the taco. It was also bland but I was able to salvage it with some of their spicy salsa that I requested. Places are heavy on the alcohol and drink menu which likely is a draw. I actually really love the Paloma which was non-alcoholic. However, the food must meet the mark and today I am sad to say it missed on several points For my standards. I really did appreciate the staff who were all very helpful, super friendly and did their best to accommodate all of our asks. The location is nice right on the Redondo Beach strip with so many food options to choose from.
