We saw lots of great reviews so we thought we'd try it out. The food was okay, nothing special, but I didn't eat most of it because our server offended me so badly that I lost my appetite. We ordered bean and cheese nachos with peppers on the side. We have ordered this same dish a million times in many cities and states with no issues. Granted they weren't on the menu so I wasn't shocked they weren't great. But the side of peppers were bell peppers. I explained we were asking for Jalapeño peppers. She explained these were peppers and I should have asked for jalapeños. Okay fine. She came back with the jalapeño peppers and again educated me on the fact these were jalapeños not peppers. A little irritated that she felt a need to educate me but okay. She came back a few minutes later to fill our drinks and again reminded me these are jalapeños not peppers. I get a misunderstanding but this was treating me like a 2 year old that needed educating and I found this highly offensive. I asked to speak the manager who blamed it on the language barrier rather than lack of customer service skills. He didn't get it either. I will never go back to this place again! read more

Frst off, our waiter was simply rude. "What do high want to drink?" "What do you want to eat?" are not how you address people. He only came to our table to set down drinks, take our order, set down our drinks and food, and give us the ticket. He had the attitude of one who was annoyed by our being there. He was more concerned with the soccer game on TV than his customers. Secondly, our food was bland. My daughter's avocado tostada was tasteless. My street tacos carnitas were dry. The pork tastes like chicken that had been grilled, cooled off, and then microwaved. It was hard and extremely difficult to chew. My husband said his Alambre was ok but, not great. The decor was beautiful, which is why I'm giving this 2 stars instead of just 1. We will never be back. read more

My husband and I went on a Friday evening. They had a live performer (1 man band) who was actually good and entertaining. I had the margarita flight. The mango one taste like medicine. The other 3 (regular, strawberry and blue) were par, but I drank them, of course. They weren't strong at all. I ordered the burrito California and it was HUGE and tasty. My husband ordered the burrito salsa and they were too smaller burritos. They were both delicious. The service was great. I would recommend this place. read more

We want to love this place but the service is spotty, the margaritas are hit and miss and apparently they're not aware of what vegetarian means in their vegetarian menu. On the vegetarian platter only one of the four items on the platter are actually vegetarian. read more

When we traveled to hot springs the first time we were looking for a nice Mexican Restraunt well we couldn't find one until we came upon salsa's and it is fabulous my family enjoyed it and it was very nice ! Every time we go to hot-springs we visit salsas because we love it !! We absolutely loved their cheese dip it was wonderful ! Everyone at out table ordered a different combo but they were all extremely delicious . Their burritos are terrific and I personally don't like enchiladas but theirs are amazing ! Oh goodness!!!! Best Mexican food and service I've had in forever!!!!! My husband got some kind of white queso soup looking dish with grilled, seasoned chicken and spinach leaves inside with a whole side plate of 'the Mexican fixings'. It was soooo amazing! I can't wait to travel back to Hot Springs just for that dish (plus the bathhouse). My food was excellent as well. I had the steak taco salad. Ok I'm from Texas and I am partial to the excellent Tex-Mex we offer state wide, so I was a little disappointed when they didn't offer more variety of beans (only refried) and only two options of enchilada sauces ( cheese and red sauce ) . The guacamole was excellent though. Not my fave. The waitress wasn't friendly, no smile. Oh yes the interior is pretty and festive. We came here on a vacation from Texas. Should've known better then to try a Mexican restaurant lol. The food was okay, I had the chicken fajitas and the chicken was pitiful and small looked like it belonged on a street taco and not a fajita. Our waitress on the other hand was beyond stupid (this is coming from someone WHO IS A WAITRESS) I told her I read the reviews and saw they say the guacamole was spicy so I asked what made it spicy or if it actually was. She just told me they had guacamole on the menu I told her I understand that but I wanted to know if it's spicy in her opinion, she didn't understand my question. To avoid anymore confusion I asked if there were jalapeños in the guacamole and if there was I'd like them taken out due to me being pregnant she said okay. They provide table side guacamole she came and asked if all the ingredients she had out to make it was okay and I told her all of them besides the jalapeño (2nd time I said it) THEN THE PROCESSED TO DUMP THEM IN THERE $9 waisted. This place has a beautiful outdoor seating area, zero wait when we walked in we were seated, server was extremely on point not one complaint. Food was absolutely great !!! They don't have enough servers, we were there for 36 minutes and didn't even get our drinks. I had to go to the bar just to get three waters for me and my two friends. When the server did come, I asked for a drink menu and then didn't see him for another 20 minutes. We then left the restaurant because we were tired of waiting. The manager said that he had no relationship with Yelp, and that this has happened to him before. I went in expecting to receive 75% discount and instead received 20%. The food was not bad but not great, I have made better at home. We went during lunch time and prices where ok. The only complaint is that if you get enchiladas be aware if want any sauce other than red your will get charged 0.75 for each enchilada you put the cheese sauce on . The waiter did not notify this to us he just asked what type of sauce would your like when we said said cheese he did not say hey by the way that will be 0.75 cents more for each one . The enchiladas where rather plain it was basically greasy taco meat wrapped in a corn tortilla with white cheese on top. read more

The corn dog for my son came out still cold on the inside and then when it was replaced it was pretty much charred. My food, which was the shrimp ranchero, was really greasy. Good but greasy. The waitress seemed like she had better things to do. When I mentioned that my fiancee had a food allergy to avocado she suggested something that was literally avocado. Had our drinks backward. Beautiful late afternoon for a late lunch or early dinner. Looking for a nice cold mug of beer and git a flat beer in a warm mug. Had to use one hand to swat flies while trying to eat my chips. Ordered the seafood nacho 's and was extremely disappointed. Waited for the server to cone back to order a bottled beer and he never showed up.
