Coming from the Pacific Northwest, we have pretty high standards - and this place delivered. We came toward the end of the night, and while it was still busy, there was plenty of seating available. The atmosphere is no-frills and laid-back - like a classic seafood shack you'd find at a coastal fish market. Nothing fancy, just fresh seafood done right. The raw oysters were fresh and an absolute must order. Since we visited during the winter, I also warmed up with a bowl of clam chowder, which really hit the spot. We also tried the boiled oysters, served hot and charred, and they ended up being everyone's favorite. We all eat oysters and seafood pretty regularly, and even we were surprised by how flavorful they were. If you stop by, don't just order the raw oysters - get the boiled ones too so you can experience both. You really can't go wrong here.

On this last visit, we just had drinks and appetizers, but on previous visits, I've tried a lot of the fish dishes on the menu and have liked them all. They also have good hush puppies. Their mixed drinks are good as well. I can't remember the names of the two I tried (in the photos), but they were refreshing. My husband had an espresso martini, but instead of vodka, he had them make it with the O'Kahan Agave Mezcal Purple Heart, which is something you have to ask for. It's a different twist on the usual espresso martini. Overall, it's good food in a good spot right on the corner in the Beaches Town Center. Started off with a couple of draft beers. I had the mahi grilled with wasabi Cole slaw. You have to try it the Cole slaw. Also with a twice baked potato. Suggested by the waiter. That was a good suggestion Sister had the ahi tuna on rice cakes. Both meals were fantastic. Good service and great food. Always a plus and for my sister from out of town. She really enjoyed it.
