It's good food, but the prices were a little steep compared to the quality. My sister and I discussed this later and we both had the same thought. We didn't understand why they weren't busy because they had the potential to be, and it just felt like they maybe were trying TOO hard. I would go back, but this wouldn't be a regular choice for me. The appetizers we got (Brussels Sprouts and Spinach Artichoke Dip) were both okay, though I prefer garlic bread to the chip for the dip and the sprouts were a little one note. The whiskey cake itself was very good, though I recommend only one plate for a group of 6 or less because of how rich it is, especially if you get the ice cream addition. Even so, there so much more to go back for. Luckily this joint sits right along the route to family, and we will be back for more. They have an array of your usual meats, plus a plethora of exotic and wild meats, and accompaniments. Some of their items can come pre-seasoned or pre-rubbed. For the premium prices they charge, the overall experience was a massive disappointment. To start, the food is vastly overpriced for both the quality and the portion sizes. We paid $45 for a dish that consisted of exactly three scallops and a small side of risotto. Another dish we ordered was completely bland, lacking any salt or depth of flavor. To make matters worse, our meal was ruined by a swarm of flies. When we asked the staff if they had a fly fan or any way to help mitigate the issue, we were simply told they didn't have anything. If a restaurant is going to charge high-end prices, they need to provide a high-end experience--or at the very least, basic pest control and seasoned food. We absolutely do not recommend this place. Save your money and go somewhere that actually delivers on value and quality.
