So, let me start by saying, I agree with the 3.5 star rating, but I went with a 3 because ... you have to choose and for me, a 4th start would mean I plan to return. The food was okay. I really wanted to like it, but too few options and too much variation on the standard breakfast. Service was good, albeit a bit slow and the ambiance was quaint:) I sat outside and got some sun, but the inside was really cute. Servers were all genuinely nice without being over the top. It was a good change of pace in Hollywood. Ordered the All Star breakfast, which I recommend if you want a good sampling of their key items. They let me sub the eggs for hashbrowns. Normally comes with 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 eggs and a biscuit along with an order of oat pancakes. The pancakes were the standout. The bacon was a little too strong of a pork taste for me, but cooked really well. Sausage was delicious. The biscuit was nothing special, but it was really flaky, a bit oily on the outside for me too. The hash browns were interesting. A bit oily and come with their house ketchup called "low and slow" which tastes more savory, like a homemade bbq sauce without the sweetness. I would have preferred the offer regular ketchup to balance out the salt and oil in the hash brown, but alas, they don't. This is a really rich restaurant and clearly isn't concerned with full fat, but - but too rich for my blood. Breakfast will run you about $25 minimum. Add on a fresh juice, tea or coffee and you are at a whopping $35. I would more quickly try one of the other restaurants in the area for these prices. read more

Went because of the TikTok recommendations. There's definitely a California-New American vibe going on. Split between two people, the All Stars Breakfast and Sunflower Crunch Salad were enough to make us satisfied. Everything was very nuanced and light in flavors, which is great if that is what you're going for! The salad definitely needs working on. It just tasted like vegetables, and we mixed the biscuit jam in it to create a more tangy flavor. The biscuits were lovely light buttery things :) Overall, the oatmeal griddle pancakes seems like the only thing I'd go back for. It's just didn't have the kick to say "I want to come back" it's basic brunch that I can get anywhere else and no problem if I didn't come here. The griddle oatmeal pancakes were the best. Usual pancakes always gives the toughness but the griddle pancakes give bit more texture and it was delicious. The scrambled eggs look nothing special. They just look like typical scrambled eggs. However, good cheese taste and it was cooked well. The eggs weren't dry at all. The salmon toast was good. It's nothing special but good salmon toast. Hash browns were definitely crunchy with soft mashed potatoes on the inside. The service was hit or miss. They seem to kind of throw or slam things on the table which I didn't like? I came here because I love the pancakes. My friends flew out for my birthday . I was so embarrassed that I talked this place up so much. The service was horrible. From the way they barely greeted our group of 8 when we came in to the way they interacted with us at the table. Our server was so dismissive , no eye contact and one of the worst experiences I'd ever had dining. I left so embarrassed that I recommended this place so highly and my out of town guests commented how rude the staff was . We even bought from the store and they acted like we were annoying them . We showed up to Salts Cure on Christmas Eve in the best mood and ready for a great meal. The two waitresses both made sure to suck the good energy out of the room as soon as we sat. Bad attitudes - rolling eyes and all around annoyed that anyone had shown up. I ordered an espresso martini and the girl let out a sigh of grief. The coffee served to my partner was cold as were many of the food items. We watched the other tables have similar experiences, we watched their faces as the waitresses left their tables. Yes, everything they say about the pancakes is true. I'm 43 years old, I've had a pancake in my life, how impressive can they be. iMPRESSIVE. Like melt in your mouth, go back three days later and take your friends delicious. And no they don't serve syrup and there's a very good reason. Despite some of the negative reviews, I decided to come here because I like their oatmeal pancakes from their other location. Service was great, we got seated quickly and did not wait long for our food. Came out quick, in my opinion. I really liked their hash browns! We also got the all star, and the biscuits and gravy. Yes folks the TikToks are indeed correct, the OG (Oatmeal Griddlecakes) are amazing! I was a little skeptical at first as oat pancakes just sound too healthy for me personally but I was dead wrong The edges are deliciously crispy with centers fluffy and light. The cinnamon sugar butter dollops melt across the top creating an overall heavenly bite. Might be one of my new favorite pancakes in all of LA! Honorable mentions go to the crispy hash browns with homemade (wow) ketchup and the salmon toast both were perfect savories to complement the sweetness of the OG pancakes. My only notes are that I wish there were a couple more drink offerings that expanded past the cocktails, tea, and coffee. The menu would really benefit from a full barista offering! read more

I just joined Yelp so that I can give this place a bad review. The staff is so appallingly rude and unfriendly. It's probably the worst service of any restaurant I've been to in LA. I really tried to like this place. The food is delicious and the location is great. The first time I went the waitress was incredibly rude. But I figured it was just a fluke, so I tried it again and got the exact same attitude. Even then I figured it can't always be so bad. So I tried two more times but after today's experience I've decided I'm never going back. I agree with the other reviews that say the wait staff all seem like they are miserable, hate being there, and are put out when a customer asks a question or even orders food. This is the only time I've ever done a review on Yelp, but the service is so extremely poor that I felt I had to say something. The lights were low and the service was great (especially since they are the first business EVER to make sure what my allergy was that is on the resy app)!
