The lady on the phone said it was done sitting there waiting to get delivered. I told her to cancel it because that's ridiculous. When I called at 10 to confirm the order was cancelled the lady said she can't do that and would have to have a manager come into work to do that. What kind of business are y'all running? My pizza sat for at least an hour before it even got to me and you won't cancel the order?? I literally ordered two other pizzas from a different place when I got off the phone with her and it got to me and I finished it by the time Salvations sh!t pizza got to me. I was expecting a wet pizza (the delivery time was long) not a blackened pizza. Well since I live nearby I wanted to give it a try, good reviews from the original location. My in-dining experience shortly after their opening was so so. The pizza was soggy and lukewarm. And the service was pretty bad, didn't get my water refilled the entire 90 minutes I was there. Second time, had family in town and decided to do a delivery when the weather was bad. All part of friendly vibe that is a combination of Rainey Street residents/regulars plus welcomed visitors. I was in Austin last week on business and on my last day my son and I found this place for lunch, not a long walk from our hotel. The Canadian Bacon pizza was marvelous with a just-right thin crust, tasty sauce and the right amount of cheese (to our liking anyway). Our server was very friendly, welcoming and efficient. The eclectic neighborhood was full of smaller restaurants and bars. If I ever get to Austin again, I'd get pizza from Salvation Pizza! read more

Honestly, it's the first place I've stopped into since this whole COVID19 thing start that felt totally unsafe. 1. Hand sanitizing station (one of the minimum standards of health protocol) was an empty bottle of hand sanitizer. 2. Not a single person in sight was wearing a mask (not just patrons, but staff and kitchen could be seen while picking up your order without masks). 3. When I initially got there, I saw a sign that said to seat me and my party ourselves, but there was only one table open and it was dirty, so me and my party thought the logical thing was to sit there because at most restraunts, that is reasonable. Me and my party were fine with waiting for the table to be cleaned due to it only have four glasses and needed to be wiped down. However, one of the waiters came up to our table and told us that by sitting here, we were forcing her to clean the table, which confused us because we thought that was her job. Me and my party got up so she could clean the table but she continued to be passive aggressive and tell us since we had already sat there, we would just have to wait.
