Great place to enjoy Brazilian steak outside of Atlanta. We went for a Saturday lunch around 1pm. There were several tables seated, but plenty of open tables. The hot/cold bar was smaller than other similar places I've been, but the flavor was on point. Same with the meat selection... cooked perfectly, but a slightly smaller selection than at other places. We had the Picanha, chicken wings, garlic steak, and bacon wrapped chicken/steak and they were all fantastic. We also tried a delicious frozen passion fruit drink that was handmade by the owner... it was a treat that you can find on a smoothie/juice menu on your table. It's a family owned business and it's selection is smaller than its competitors, but I can't speak more highly of the steak and the service we had last weekend.... and the price is pretty sweet as well. read more

This is a great local family owned Brazilian steak house. The salad bar was filled with many choices and I filled my first plate with just salad bar items. Then came the meat! There was several different steak options, chicken, sausage and chicken wings. All of the meats had great flavors and just kept coming until you couldn't eat any more. I felt the $25 per person price is a great price. The only recommendation I would have for the business is to expand their bar items, as that may attract more customers. I have read some of the previous reviews. At no time did our server ask us about desert, we had to ask him. So they are not trying to force deserts on you! Please do not try and compare this locally owned steakhouse to the big chain steakhouse in Atlanta. They are two different steakhouses. Well, first of all I had no idea this place existed but you will not be disappointed. The food and the service were both impeccable. It was later in the evening when I arrived by myself but after looking at the menu and speaking with the waiter I decided to order the Brazilian grilled Shrimp. I also didn't realize they had a very nice couple that provided music and they came up to introduce themselves and asked me what I wanted to hear. I will definitely come back. Best of all, we were so pleased with the service; every staff member we interacted with really wanted us to be happy with our experience! The prices were much more pleasing than other Brazilian steakhouses, and we also got treated to some live music that was "just right" for the setting - a guy performing Brazilian music with an acoustic guitar, not too heavy or soft. Samba has delicious food, plenty of choices, and a great price. For $25/person you get the full salad and fruit bar, hot buffet, and of course the churrisco meats. The salad and fruit bar has a good variety of crisp and colorful choices, trimmed and sliced into easy-to-manage pieces and presented attractively. Options at the adjacent hot buffet include vegetable, grain, and meat dishes with labels for those of us who are curious about such things. Even without that assist, the various trays of steaming foods were all appealing. Savory cheeses and breads were also offered. Nothing on either buffet was left out long enough to get tired and dry: kudos to chef and management for working out portions and to staff for keeping things fresh to accomplish this often overlooked detail. (Can you tell I'm having fun yet?) Of course we go to the Brazilian steakhouse for the Brazilian meats! Our servers brought skewers after skewers of various cuts of beef, chicken, and pork, even sausages and chicken hearts. I would not recommend eating here we were highly disappointed. We went on Valentines day night and had reservations. We came in and gave our name but they never confirmed our reservations or that we were on the list because they were so busy. When we sat at our table and went to the buffet it was almost empty. The pineapple came from a can and the Brazilian cheese balls were under cooked and still doughy in the center. We waited a while and finally got the steak. The first cut was fine. The second time he came around parts were extremely undercooked to the point of the meat have a purplish hue as opposed to red. The had chicken wing, sausage and steak. But the 2 things that really stood out was the desert and the customer service. My wife and daughter split something called Romeo and Juliette. The best way to describe this is heaven in a cup. I only got one bite but it was delicious. My 16 daughter described it as life changing. On the customer service side it was the owners themselves who took care of us. I really don't review places often but I feel like I needed to now. I took my girlfriend here on Valentine's Day and they were fairly busy. Nothing too extreme but a typical holiday evening. It took almost 20 minutes for us to even get waters. After leaving we still didn't even know who our actual server was. The food was not bad for the price. If the service was better then I would definitely be back. But I could also overhear other customers who were not happy with the service. Before we came, we called an hour early and made a reservation for 10. Upon arriving, we were seated right away and had our drinks poured and the waitress gave us a quick run through on how the night will go (it was most of our first time eating steakhouse). Next round took even longer! I didn't want to get up and grab any more of the buffet line food. It's a steakhouse. I came to eat the star of the show and not fill my stomach with rice and boiled eggs. I felt we were pretty much ignored the entire night. The servers would go to other tables and give them all cooked meats and come to our table with blue rare steak. We passed. At first I thought they were just understaffed, so I tried to be empathetic and say at least they're trying. They had one waiter and one waitress servicing the entire floor!.... Later, they told us they didn't have enough food to keep everyone occupied. The food was not cooking fast enough to fill the plates. That's totally unacceptable. Whether it was busy or not a steakhouse shouldn't run out of food on a Saturday night. Their service also fell off as the night continued. We stayed almost 2 hours and barely had any food or drink refills. They took so long we had guests in our party leave (probably went to McDonalds). Overall, the service was good but fell off, maybe due to lack of staffing. The establishment needs better management with food preparation and staffing. You cannot expect one waiter and waitress to service the entire floor! The food was good though, too bad we couldn't taste the full experience, but they took our full payment. I felt my three bites of picanha was not worth $200. The only good thing about this night was the girl playing live music. read more
