Salad and soup
Rosy P.

We've been here a couple of times now and I really like it here. We usually go to the other Samurai location but this one seems to have faster service. Once we're seated, someone comes and takes our drink order. Then we're ready to order and a short time later, our soup and salad are here. I love the dressing on their salad. It's sweet but not too sweet. I'm not a fan of that ginger dressing at other hibachi restaurants. We usually start off with their temptation roll. Today we arrived within their happy hour so we also ordered their edamame and rock-n-roll off the happy hour menu. I got my usual hibachi shrimp and filet mignon with the upgraded chicken fried rice. I love their temptation rolls! Soooo good!! We've been to hibachi many times and the "show" gets kinda old because they all tell similar jokes and such. I'm just here for the food! I don't really pay attention to the show anymore. I just enjoy the freshly cooked food. We got a good chef tonight. I think it's the same one we got last time we were here. He makes the fried rice very tasty. Everything was good and we left with full, satisfied bellies. I think we'll probably stick to this location from now on since the service is much quicker here. We don't have to wait so long for a chef to show up at our table and the servers are always around or easy to flag down. Atmosphere was great. I like that they don't try to cram a bunch of people in one table. We have enough space to eat our dinner without worrying about being too close to other diners. It's nice here. We had a great dinner.

Delicious!! I love hibachi and tried Samurai for the first time with high expectations. Food was delicious, fresh and well-seasoned. Price was right and portions were abundant. Service was friendly and speedy.

I frequent at this restaurant since it is located near my neighborhood. Each time it has been a pleasant experience. Today, I just had to write a review on how awesome this place is compared to the many other hibachi places in the area. We usually opt for the hibachi area but today we decided to sit at the sushi bar. I am so glad we did. The sushi chef was such a pleasure to talk to. He was so informative about the menu and cracked jokes with us. Special shout out to Mike for being the real deal! I will continue to come just to hang out with Mike and drink Lychee Sake bombs.

The lunch special!

I been going here for years it's great. The service is friendly and also their food is great! It's also fun to look at when they do the BIG Fire and the train !

We were initially told the wait would be about 20 minutes, but it ended up being closer to an hour. Once we were finally seated, ordering through the iPad was simple and convenient. The sashimi and hibachi dishes arrived quickly, while the specialty rolls and fried items took considerably longer because of how busy the restaurant was. To get the most value out of an all-you-can-eat experience, I usually focus on ordering sashimi. My favorites were the salmon, yellowtail, and eel, all of which were fresh and enjoyable. The spicy scallop sushi was the standout of the entire meal and easily my favorite bite of the night. We ordered a wide variety of dishes, and that was the one I kept going back to. The steak hibachi was solid, with well-seasoned meat and generous portions. The fried oysters and crab rangoons were both crispy and cooked well without feeling overly greasy. The specialty rolls were good too. While none of them particularly stood out, they were all enjoyable and well made. Overall, there was not a single dish that I disliked. Even with the much longer-than-expected wait, the quality and variety of the food made for a satisfying all-you-can-eat experience. If you plan on visiting during peak dinner hours, I would recommend expecting a wait, but once you're seated, there are plenty of options to make the meal worthwhile.

I recently tried this local shabu spot and had a really enjoyable experience. The restaurant was…read moreclean, well-organized, and the atmosphere felt comfortable for both small groups and solo diners. The broth was flavorful but not overly salty, which worked perfectly for cooking the meats and vegetables. The beef slices were thin and fresh, cooking quickly in the broth and staying tender. The vegetable platter was generous and included a nice variety like cabbage, mushrooms, tofu, and noodles. One thing I liked was the sauce bar--there were several options like ponzu, sesame sauce, garlic, and chili so you could customize the flavor exactly how you want. Service was friendly and attentive. The staff explained how to cook the ingredients properly, which is helpful if you're new to shabu-shabu. The only small downside was that it can get a bit busy during peak dinner hours, so you might have to wait for a table. Overall, it's a great spot if you're craving fresh hot pot and a casual dining experience. I'd definitely come back again.

Came in with a group of friends for a late dinner and wanted to order a lot of meats. We ended up ordering 12 meats to start off for the three of us at one of the tables but only ever got 7 of our meats. Wasn't the biggest issue, and I was still fine at this point. For the next ~20min after we finished our meats, I see our waiter walking around, helping out one table at a time and then just dip, not seeing them for a long period of time. Eventually, the lady working at the front desk helps us order our meats, and our waiter comes out 5 minutes later to ask us if we need anything. I don't really know what happened here, everything still tasted great, but waiting this long to eat more really just kind of ruined the vibes of this meal. Hope my next experience is better.

There's decent space inside, but not suited for large gatherings. The location is a little difficult to find. Komeya is crammed into a small business strip next to a busy street. Parking may be difficult. Their menu is 90% sushi, but they have other dishes. Their ramen and rice bowls are excellent. Every day, Komeya has a different special of the day, food they don't typically serve on their menu like Korean fried chicken wings or fried mochi with banana for example. Prices aren't too bad. I wouldn't recommend the green curry ramen. It didn't remind me of Asian curry and it lacked flavor, though the chicken in my green curry ramen was seasoned and cooked to perfection. My big brother and his wife are sushi fanatics. They would love to come by here!

We started with calamari as a starter. It was hot, crispy, and came with a chili dipping sauce. I ordered a Thai tea, but they were out. I ordered the original ramen but added spice. It was the perfect amount of spice! I really enjoyed the thin noodles and the pork was tender and seasoned well. The sushi was delicious and fresh. I'm glad we stepped out our box last night and tried a new place. I'll definitely be back!
