So there are some Japanese places that will usually just give you a soup/salad so no one feels left out when something like this happens, but they were very by the rules. We ordered another entree later during the meal, and they brought out the soup and salad for that entree. Server was friendly and on point. Atmosphere is nice and it wasn't very busy on a Friday lunch time.

I was pretty disappointed. Mine only had green onions in it. The tempura was also kinda soggy. Some piece were crispy but on the broccoli and sweet potato, they were soggy. The server was great. They were very attentive. We did not complain about the food because we were hot and just wanted to hurry up instead of waiting longer. Also, they need to fix some of their tables that are very wobbly!

My Fiance and I have been to this restaurant well over 10 times. Normally we have loved the experience and we would have suggested this place to any one UNTIL last night. We went here for my birthday dinner. We made reservations for Hibachi. We got there and were sat at an empty grill, thinking we would get a private show. The table next to us was completely full. One chef served us all at the same time, but did all of the cooking on the other table's grill. We couldn't see anything. We might as well had sat at a table. If they had told us there was only one chef, we would have moved our reservation time. We lost the whole experience. And they honestly thought we would be okay with that? We were very upset. To try and make up for it, they gave us a $20 gift card for NEXT TIME! After that, we will not be going back. We'll find a new hibachi place. We were so disappointed. read more

I went this past weekend to Samurai with my family and overall we all had a great time. The service was on point and the hibachi was fantastic!! I had family visiting from out of town and they only had great things to say about it. The only critique I have was there was a lack of understanding on the hibachi's chefs part because a family member requested no eggs in their fried rice, which he confirmed with her but then still served her eggs anyways. Neither the rice or noodles had anything mixed in with them like peas or carrots with the rice or onions for the noodles. They were certainly edible, but not exciting and I wouldn't recommend paying extra for the noodles based on this.

The things I noticed this year is the portions are not as plentiful as they were in 2018-2020. The server we had was very slow and either didn't know the menu or substitutions really ate no longer allowed. Which makes no Sense - we wanted to substitute the noodles for white rice and said we could not. A side of noodles is $4 and a side of white rice is $2 so don't see why we couldn't substitute down. Kids had to pay for two sides of white rice even when they said they didn't want the noodles. Also asked for Some sriracha suave and server came out with a small to go cup of sweat and sour and said it will cost $1 for the sauce ???? The cup was like a small Jell-O shot with a lid. So unsure if they are trying to nickel and dime their customers. They did do a nice birthday presentation that was free and threw in ice cream for my daughter which was very nice. I guess at the end of the day you have to balance what you prefer - a good show and good birthday celebration or a small meal with anticipated add ons.
