I'm surprised that SCPC has such a high rating. Too much sauce and cheese and no flavor. As a pizza lover I'm of the impression that even bad pizza is better than no pizza at all. This place is where I draw the line. After eating one slice of a personal pizza and nearly choking on a glob of cheese that had the consistency of bubble gum, I had to send it back. To ad insult to injury, the young woman behind the counter suggested that perhaps I'd be better served at Dominoes. I will say that the manager did offer a full refund. I declined, left the uneaten pizza behind and hot footed it over to LaRoccos down the street. You can put cheese and sauce on top of dough and bake it, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's pizza. Don't waste your money here. read more

We looked the place up on Yelp on our way back to LA from Legoland. It is very convenient from the 5- you could almost throw a rock at the freeway from there. It's a very small take out place, they have two or three tables. We got one pizza with pineapple and onion topped with avocado, the other with double pineapple. Yes our choice of toppings is blashphemous to some but we like it :) I had never gotten avocado on pizza before. I love avocado yet this did not sound appetizing. But it tastes better than I thought. It's not much different than when you add avocado to a sandwich. Anyway, you should at least try it once. The price was very good. We'll come back next time we're passing through town. read more

In town staying at a local hotel and needed a quick, hot meal. My husband called to see how long and they said 15 minutes for pick up...great! He went and waited...15 minutes went by...no pizza. He asked, they said 5 minutes. Another guy came in, ordered a pizza and was out in 15 minutes...still no pizza for us. After 30 minutes in the store, he hears a guy say " oh we need to get that pizza mushroom going" ...that being our pizza. An hour later, in the restaurant for pick up, we get our pizza. Ice cream in car, melted. Missing our kid going to bed...and pizza is mediocre at best. They did give us the pizza for free. But charged us for a Sprite. Ruined the night and our tight timeline for food. Could've gotten something better if we knew we had to wait that long. Definitely won't be back. read more

I just love this place. I recently moved to SC and my roomie mentioned she has been living off of SC Pizza Co since she had moved in! I always do delivery and they always make it happen..with a smile an. From the time I call, to the last bite, their customer service shines and sets a great example for all restaurants. The pizza is great, but I've become a huge fan of the spinach salad! Salads at pizza joints usually don't meet my standards, but they add avocado and lots of fresh veggies! Have ordered at least 10 times for delivery in the past 4 or 5 months. Pizza is always on time, hot, order taker on phone is easy to understand and friendly and courteous. That in itself is a plus. Toppings are always fresh and they always remember the hot pepper flakes. Best pizza in town IMO and have lived here for 35 years. Please keep up the exceptionalism! read more

This is my favorite pizza to order in from south OC!! It's absolutely delicious and full of flavor. There are may different pizzas to choose from, but my favorite is the buffalo chicken pizza! The bread isn't too thin or thick, and I don't feel like an Oompa Loompa after I'm done eating, like you usually do after a hearty heavy pizza. Keep on making awesome pizza! read more

Was on vacation in San Clemente and ordered a pizza delivered. It was ok, although the quantity of sausage and mushrooms was scant, and the anchovies on the side weren't delivered, though I paid for them on the phone order. Luckily, the Greek salad was great, very fresh-- though I'm fairly sure that wasn't the Ranch I ordered on the side. It looked and tasted more like a creamy Italian. Still good, but, c'mon. Made it easy & fun to order our thin crust, pesto sauced, chicken, black olive, tomato, double Ricotta-cheesed pizza for delivery. 5 stars for arriving way under the estimated delivery time. 5 Stars for Thomas the delivery guy. 5+ stars for the pizza. I love this place for delivery. Pizza is really good for the price. They have a special that is great (2 large pizzas for $20) They deliver fast and are professional. We order delivery often and have had Bad luck for a while in San Clemente. Unlike round table they have great phone skills and are much for professional overall they are also a lot cheaper then round table. stuffed pizza comes to your door cold and it doesn't taste good. It might be a little cheaper but it's very low quality. I think SC Pizza is the best option for delivery overall. Great selection for pizza and reasonable pricing! Try this place out!!! read more

The pizza here is excellent and a hit with everyone in our family! I'm so glad we have found a 'go-to' for pizza in San Clemente. One star came off for the dine-in experience. At opening, the tables were sticky and there was a dead fly in our parmesan shaker. We'll still go back for the delicious pizza but only for delivery. read more

Probably one of the better pizzas I've had in all South OC! The workers are usually cool and the pizzas are always hot and fresh.

Don't order online. I placed an order online, super easy, and it said it would take 45-60 minutes. An hour and 45 minutes later I called to see what was going on. They open the screen and said "oh ya, guess we didn't see that. Well you were just going to pay cash so we didn't charge your card. Do you still want us to make it?" No apology. When I said I had 2 kids that I was waiting to feed and by the time it got here it would be too late he said "oh ok." Might not be a big deal to them but it's super frustrating to a busy mom. In response to my review Georgia took the time to send an email to apologize for the misunderstanding. It's nice to know that customer service is still important and I really appreciate her reaching out to rectify the problem. We will definitely be giving SC Pizza another try. I also got a message from the owner apologizing. Both acknowledged my frustration. Totally changed my mind about this place. Thank you to both of them for caring enough to reach out. read more

Not good, although I'm from the East coast so its hard for me to like the pizza out here. All bread, little cheese, and I ordered extra cheese. The salad was beautiful and tasty. The loaded cinnamon bread was no where near what is described.. a piece of pizza dough with cinnamon on top and a very chintzy drizzle of chocolate sauce.. no icing like stated on the menu. Ordered 2 pizzas and picked them up on my way to the hotel. Ordered two large pizzas, one Hawaiian and one Ham and Bacon. The bacon was a bit burnt on the one pizza. The other one was cooked fine but there was nothing special about them. If I'm ever in the area again I'd probably look for another spot though. While staying at a beach front hotel in San Clemente, we ordered a delivery pizza from here based on good Yelp reviews. You guys were right! Really good pizza, good crust, nice variety of toppings.........we took the leftovers home to San Diego to share with the poor unfortunate souls who didn't get to go with us. The delivery was really slow for a Wednesday night, but the pizza arrived hot and delicious, so I guess it was worth the wait! I would definitely call them again when we go back to paradise at the Beachcomber Inn. We paid $20 for a large pizza, but it had about 6 toppings. MMMM. read more
