10% surcharge on all food and drink! C'mon man!
A C.

This place is great but gets a a few stars deducted because of the 10% surcharge added to the bill. If they're going to add a surcharge go ahead and do 15% and tell people tip is included - don't also shove a machine in their face asking for 25% more.

The pizza here is sooo good! I feel like you can't go wrong with any pizza here, the super thin and crispy crust tastes so good

I thoroughly enjoyed lunch at Sandrino. We had the burrata salad and two pizzas for three of us. We sat outside and the service was friendly. The vegetarian pizza was delicious -- toppings and crust. The place was a bit tricky to find because that block is one way but once we were there we liked it. No view of the water though.

I love this place! We came at 6:45 on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to grab a table. The food was wonderful, from the salad to the pizza to the dessert. The atmosphere is warm and homey, with family photos lining the walls that show just how much love and care goes into both the space and the food. A local at the next table mentioned that this is mostly a neighborhood spot, and we definitely felt like we stumbled onto something special! I'll definitely be back!

We enjoyed a delicious lunch here today for my birthday! We found a nice spot outdoors with shade. The Greco pizza was divine- thin & crispy crust & the filling was bursting with flavor. Their Caesar salad was perfect- the green were so very fresh and the dressing not too heavy. I enjoyed a delicious affogato for dessert. I would've loved to have given this great spot five stars however we found it challenging to communicate with our server who spoke little to no English. Every question we asked her she shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't know. Basically none of our questions were answered, which was frustrating but other than that, a great spot for lunch.

Was otw back to SF and wanted to stop by somewhere in Sausalito. The place is very tiny as my party of 2 had to share a table with a family. Burrata (4/5): Very fresh cheese and a lot of veggies. Sausalito pizza (4/5): Come with ham. It was very solid.

as good as I remember I came here first 7 years ago and just revisited today and have to say, their pizza is as good as I remember. they make their pizzas right in front of you and it is served hot right out of the oven. we tried the romeo, trentina, and bufalina. the trentina was my fav. my main critiques of the pizza is 1) the lack of undercarriage - wish the pizza had a little more integrity as the toppings fall off the slice as you pull it off the tray and 2) the price - it is a bit pricey (not to mention the extra 10% service charge). the interior is small, but feels warm and homey, overall, it was great to revisit this spot - a true gem in Sausalito

After a long day exploring the city, we tucked into a delicious meal at Sandrino. It is a small and very cozy place- even out front at the large tables lining the street. We enjoyed the Burrata Salad, Greek Pizza, and Canelloni, with some Chianti. The sincerity of service here is hard to describe- but makes you feel like an honored guest. Highly recommend for a lovely, unpretentious and authentically Italian dining experience.

Cannelloni

Great location. Very cozy interior. Nice staff. Chill atmosphere. And most importantly- delicious food! The pizza was piping hot and had great flavor and texture. I like that it wasn't too salty. The cannelloni was great. I was surprised by the almond flavor of the panacotta (and realized that I much prefer vanilla instead), but it was interesting and had a lovely texture. My son ate the bite of coffee sauce on top, thinking it was a sugar reduction- so he ate all ox the very creamy and delicious vanilla bean gelato instead. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and well worth the trip across the bridge. 4.5 stars.

Warm summer evening, fantastic lasagna, salad, and a bottle of chilled Italian Sauvignon Blanc from Monika's village.. the best!

Wow, what a fantastic experience. It's like a little bit of Italy in the middle of Sausalito. A great mix of locals and tourists, the energy is welcoming and the food is amazing. Pro tip, Sausalito can be A little chilly, even in summer, so if you're sitting outside, bring a warm coat. Inside, all you need is love. Bravo Sandro & Monika!

Truffle Caciotta

Sandrino is a very cute Italian spot that makes you feel that in your mother's kitchen. The servers were welcoming and answered our questions regarding the menu. For our party of 4, we ordered the Truffle Caciotta pizza and the Mozzarella Speck appetizer and it was enough to share! The Mozzarella Speck was delicious and I highly recommend. The server was very sweet and brought us two extra pieces of bread for our party. The bread was warm and I liked using it to soak up the remaining sauce on the plate. The Truffle Caciotta had a nice truffle flavor that was not overpowering. The pizza crust had a nice chew and was a solid pizza overall. We asked for their chili oil and it balanced out the pizza very well. I will definitely come back to Sandrino if I'm in the area again to try their other pizzas!

Cake and gelato, tiramisu
J I.

Small but quaint restaurant...nice service Pizza is good, pretty light for pizza-Satisfying though...the great thing is there is room for home made Tiramisu and chocolate cake w/gelato Great place for lunch (There is a 10% service for employee health care but why is it not included in cost of business?)

Outside dining! A must when you have a pup!

We made our way to Lappert's, and after the first few bites, we knew we'd made the right decision. Every flavor we tried was outstanding. Not a single one disappointed. The staff was incredibly patient and kind with our kids as they asked to sample what felt like half the menu before finally making their decisions. They never seemed rushed and made the experience fun for the whole family. Our son loved it so much that he went back for seconds, which might be the strongest review a kid can give. Our daughter and I both ended up with two scoops because choosing just one flavor felt impossible. What a treat…read more.. Hadn't been to the location since it was Guaymas - what a transition. Same beautiful views, upscale interior that goes with the casual like atmosphere. Outside seating was relaxing and the views complimented the evening. Nice to see staff members with smiles on their faces, don't always see that at a restaurant! Fharid was the server, ever attentive, but just enough! What's important...the food! Romaine Caesar Salad - just enough of the flavorful dressing to compliment the salad. Roasted Half Chicken - tender and absolutely delicious. Portions were very filling. A wonderful homemade peach mint chutney enhanced the flavor option if you so wished. I love chutney, wished I could buy a bottle to take home! Dark Chocolate Cake - words can't describe how good it was! Dark chocolate cake, sour cherries, fresh whipped cream - a piece of chocolate art. Hated to destroy the dessert, but I did! It was decided I should meet the baker. She came out and I thanked her again for the beautiful and flavorful surprise. The Bungalow Kitchen: Great evening, wonderful food, atmosphere is superb, lucky to live nearby.

The Manager Peter really appears to be on point. My dry aged bone in New York strip had real dry aged flavor. It was a little under seasoned and with no salt and pepper on the table I just ate it. My GF really enjoyed her filet. The one thing we both said was that both of our mains and both of our sides were served on the cool side. They were at the temperature that most meals are at when we are at the end. The corn side was served on the cob; ridiculous. JUST DON'T! The menu is small. All of the employees were instructed to tell EVERYONE that they just added 12 new items to the menu. Which means that they threw out Michael Mina's menu and replaced it with their own. The menu offers a great selection of fresh, healthy options. We especially loved the oysters, vegan chopped salad, and strawberry salad--all were incredibly fresh and flavorful. What really completed the experience was the friendly service. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and the bartenders were fantastic. Came here with medium expectations. Totally disappointed…read more It's honesty, Denny's quality. The ingredients are trash and cheap. The steak was all fat and tough, the potatoes under cooked with weird sauce that wasn't even quality. The avocado pizza was awful. The poke wasn't good. I didn't even know it was possible to mess up oysters. The only things they got right was the wine. I can't even elaborate on it the food was so bad. It's a cute place. The staff were nice(except the buss boy who tried to take my glass of wine before it was finished). If I'm gonna go to a decent restaurant I expect the food to be at least decent. Also, the benches at the tables are hard as hell. But inside they have fuzzy little carpet outside you're just screwed. They need to get something more comfortable.. But first and foremost, they need to fix their issue with their food. Like I said, not only did it taste terrible honestly, the mini selection was kind of garbage too.
