Today I took the drive to Cozy Cup in Berlin. It's been a little while since I've heard of them,…read morealthough they are newer. This is a small cafe with some desserts and pastries. They also make coffee and fresh juices. It was a bit awkward because I was the only one here. No one stopped by to pick a coffee on the go, or anything. My self and the two ladies working were the only ones here. I got a caramel latte. It was ready quickly. Unfortunately it wasn't very good. It was all milk and caramel syrup, with hardly any coffee at all. It also arrived in a generic paper cup. This is a bit against the "cozy" theme if you ask me. Cozy Cup is cute inside, their pastries might be worth trying, but the coffee was a miss for me.

Nobody was in front and I probably waited about 45 seconds before a nice person came out to help me. I sometimes speak of the shock and awe factor when you first see a bakery's case. I wasn't shocked or awed in terms of the number of options and/or quantity of items available, but I bought a few things for my family to try. The best thing was a long pastry stuffed with guava and cheese and topped withsugar crystals. Very tasty. The other items (tres leches cake, banana bread, brownie and pumpkin flan) were all about average. Cozy Cup is fine, but I prefer other bakeries in my general area. 3 Stars

Decided to hunt down a few different locations and this one popped up in the hunt. Location is a small space in a little plaza. Staff was friendly, recommended the strawberry donut. Price was 2 bucks a donut, so towards the higher side. Donut was fresh, dense with a heavy sugar shell and a strong artificial strawberry flavor. Not bad, but I prefer the lighter yeasty style donuts than the denser, sugar laden ones. As a local donut shop, it's good. The quality is there, but the donuts are not my style. They are good classic dunker style doughnuts though.

My BF got an iced coffee, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We grabbed an assortment of donuts to try, since it was our first time here. Their cinnamon rolls are huge, and it was nice and cinnamon-ey which I love. I also got the cruller to enjoy later. Now, to me, a cruller is nice and airy with a hint of crispness in the edges and a moist center. This was more like an old fashioned donut made into a twist, and it is probably one of the best old fashioned donut I have had ever! Nicely glazed, but that dough ... chef's kiss! We also grabbed their chocolate frosted and a Boston cream to share with our son. The employees are super nice and helpful. Only downside is they only serve coffee - iced or hot. I wish they had an espresso machine for lattes and cappuccinos. 4.5 stars!

This place is so adorable on the inside, it is small and pretty intimate, but the decor is precious! There are so many toadstools (the oversized red mushrooms with polka dots) and rainbows everywhere. Tony's specialty's are all his mom's recipes. There was a delightful selection of an assortment of sweets. Of course you can get your coffees and teas too. Each month they change their drink specials. I got a slice of their Salted Caramel Pecan Blondie and a May Specialty Latte called Fay Valentine. The Blondie was rich with caramel on the outside but decadently sweet, yet crunchy. This is an indulgence for sure! The Fay Valentine is a Banana and Peanut Butter Latte, absolutely delicious! I kept slurping long after it was gone! Please go check out the restroom at Tony's, even if nature isn't calling you to go. I have never before encountered a more magical restroom. If I tell you there's Alice herself hanging upside down from the ceiling, maybe that's enough reason to go. I had a wonderful time with my friend at Tony's Flour Shop, the staff is super helpful and friendly. I cannot wait to return.

I ordered three things - decaf coffee, the egg, bacon and cheese breakfast sandwich on homemade Italian bread, and a salted croissant. The breakfast sandwich was beautiful - buttered and gently toasted on the outside, soft and squishy on the inside, the bacon was perfectly crisp, and the egg wasn't runny, as I had requested. I have NEVER IN MY LIFE had bread like this; it elevated the entire thing That Salted Croissant tho! I was carb-loading double-fisted style, and it was an amazing way to end my work trip. Thank you for the Studio Ghibli stickers! I knew this place was legit when there was a bowl with giveaway stickers And the service was friendly, prompt, and helpful I will definitely be back and would STRONGLY recommend Tony's Flour Shop!

I picked up an assortment of Danish pastries to share, and they were a hit. Everyone loved them, which made gift-giving easy and stress-free. It's always nice finding something that feels thoughtful and is appreciated by so many people. Of course, I couldn't leave without picking up a few treats for myself. I brought home the chocolate hazelnut and coconut ice cream flavors, and both were absolutely delicious. The chocolate hazelnut was rich and creamy, while the coconut had a refreshing flavor that was perfect for a warm day. I also purchased two breakfast pastries. One was a raspberry-flavored pastry that I really enjoyed. The other was supposed to be filled with vanilla, but the filling tasted different than I expected. It wasn't my favorite item, but with so many options available, that's bound to happen sometimes. The selection was impressive, everything looked fresh, and there was something for every sweet tooth. Whether you're stopping in for dessert, breakfast pastries, ice cream, or gifts for a special occasion, this is definitely a place worth visiting. I'll definitely be back to try more flavors and discover a few new favorites.

"You're the real thing Yeah the real thing…read moreYou're the real thing Even better than the real thing" (U2) When you walk into an Italian bakery and see a table of four gents drinking espresso and chattering away in Italian, well you know you've walked into the real thing. And you might thing you've also walked into a real thing of a Café in Italy, because the Mozzicato DePasquale Bakery and Pastry Shop has that kind of vibe to it. When I walked in yesterday morning, I was dazzled by the sheer amount of their breads, rolls, cakes, pastries, cookies, calzones, and pizza slices. Toss in a big gelato display and a coffee bar, and you can pretty much enjoy a great meal or snack any time of the day. I had a Board of Directors meeting in Rocky Hill yesterday, so I stopped in for breakfast and some meeting prep. I had a spinach croissant ($5.95) and a coffee ($2.50). On the way out, I ordered a cappucino for my meeting ($5.00) an some biscottis and six of those awesome little Italian Rainbow cookies ($4.76) to take home for late night desserts. I really enjoyed sitting there, soaking in the atmosphere, listening to the Italian gents' conversation, drinking Mozzicato's excellent coffee and savoring a delicious spinach croissant. Mozzicato's is Bellissimo!

They do well at their establishment and are well known. I have been here for cannolis in the past but came today especially for the Italian St Joseph Zeppole's which they had still available for the month of March. I've been to other places for them It's a great little restaurant with a huge variety of baked goods all showcased and displayed nicely. The staff is very helpful and patient. They also have pizza and stuffed bread available on the premises and baked fresh daily.
