A mediocre breakfast and lunch diner. My first time at the Santa Fe Cafe was a casual breakfast experience. Everyone is friendly and the service was great. The only reason I dock the stars is just due to the food. It's everything you would expect from a small strip mall breakfast place. I got the biscuits and gravy -- which is how I usually can tel the quality of a breakfast place. The biscuits weren't made from scratch and lacked temperature and flavor. The gravy seemed like the powered stuff you'd probably just mix water with and bring to a boil. It wasn't inedible but it wasn't really my kind of thing. Everything a little salty. read more

We decided to go do breakfest at Santa fe cafe on a Saturday as its been quite a while since we been there before the pandemic several times unfortunately even after we put our name on the list as they where busy they also seem to ignore us as had to ask when after took someone else that came in after us waiting 30 min , the server found us a table then even worse we waited 10-15 min still ignored even after asked for service, understand there short staffed but there's a difference between short staffed and being ignored so we left ,what a shame lost a customer as we wont be going back used to be better then this. read more

It's becoming increasingly more popular, which is wonderful for them, but usually means I have to wait a bit to be seated (which is never for too long and is soooo worth it!). Huge portions for the price. They also participate in Front Flip, so you have a chance to win a free breakfast or beverage! The staff is always so friendly too! My 3 year old can be quite the handful sometimes, and they are always so patient with her. Bringing her an extra side of fruit, or more crayons to color with. The atmosphere is great too! I have driven past here countless times and I was feeling breakfast food around 11:45am so thought I'd finally give in and give this place a shot. When you walk in, it feels like you're in a poorly designed Southwestern theme space combined with the feel of a retirement home. Most of the people here are elderly, and I got the sense they are regulars. I guess a stab at making it like a spot in Santa Fe. The service was fast and friendly, and actually very good. Our server was upbeat, patient, and very attentive to if we needed anything. The food was okay, nothing to write home about. The menu has a lot of Southwest style dishes, along with an assortment of omelettes and crepes. Overall, a decent breakfast that lacks much ambiance and flavor. They also serve lunch, which I didn't even gaze over. Coffee was average, but they did offer fresh squeezed juice. I may be back, but I'd probably try a more signature dish this go around. After driving by this place every day for a year, my husband and I finally went there for Sunday breaskfast. It was very similiar to First Watch, except Santa Fe Cafe prides itself on a southwestern flare that is apparent in the food as well as decor. This is a restaurant that would benefit from a different setting. The food is good and the menu is pretty wide ranging. Service was solid and the someone was always around to top up a coffee cup. The most memorable thing for me though? The pricing. It's downright whimsical. A biscuit and gravy is the same as a slice of toast and thrown in for no extra charge with your $8 plate of eggs. Two cost $5, three cost $5.50. A plate of eggs, a plain burger, or a salad are all around $9 (and this just doesn't seem like a $9 burger sort of place) or eggs benedict. A bowl of actual cold cereal is $4. Are there people who go out to a restaurant for cold cereal? And pay that? Figuring out what orders actually gave you your money's worth felt like more of a puzzle than I was expecting before breakfast, and I would have been more tempted to return if the prices had been logical and just a little more in keeping with the casual experience. read more

I ordered mine on the smaller side. For around $7 I received 2 thick pieces of custardy french toast, one egg and 2 pieces of bacon. Everything was prepared perfectly. Also at my table were 3 other variations or french toast, I guess we were all in the mood for it, and one large order of biscuits and gravy. Not bad, not bad. We stopped in here last weekend and boy was it packed! So we took that as a good sign and waited outside. It's a small place, but it's home-y. I enjoyed the French toast I ordered. I had a sunny side up egg that was pretty runny, andI know that sunny side up are supposed to be runny, but this was liquid-y. Went there for breakfast for the first time today. The food was marginal at best. I got the blacksmith and my husband got the pancakes and bacon. The sausage patties served with the blacksmith were grey, not brown and tasted like they had been sitting in a warmer for a really long time. The sausage gravy tasted like something out of a can and was slathered all over my plate on top of my eggs and hashbrowns. And worst of all the bacon tasted like it had been fried in very old grease.
