Ordered chicken pesto sandwich. Chicken was extremely dry. Bread was perfect with the perfect amount of butter and pesto. Fries were yummy! You have to order online. No one checks on your throughout your dining experience. I ordered a glass of water when I ordered my food. Then stopped people twice to ask for water and after being there almost 30 minutes and finishing my meal - I never received any water to drink. I also asked for napkins from a lady walking by, she didn't even acknowledge that I spoke to her and then came back with two "bathroom style brown PAPER towels" and acted like it was a huge inconvenience. The gentleman seating me was beyond accommodating and professional. This place was crazy busy and he handled everybody with patience and professionalism. Apparently as a manager he is not able to accept tips but I would definitely tip him twice the amount I had set aside for the server and bartender.....Not that they were lackluster, but SanTan's lack of a dishwasher was supplemented by the manager's, Michael Dawkins' efforts. Excellent breakfast while waiting for a flight! Try the Carnitas + Egg Burrito, it's huge and will certainly fill you up. They put pork carnitas, two eggs, mixed cheese, pico de gallo and hash browns. They include salsa and greasy fruit. read more

I'm shocked this place doesn't get better reviews. The wait was a little longer than we would have liked but due to Covid it's understandable since restaurants have to limit the capacity. The host was great though! He kept updating everyone in line to get seated approx. how much longer the wait would be. We were seated at the bar. They had a limited menu that you access via QR code. We were a little bummed that there was only one sandwich selection - Chandler Club. We reluctantly ordered the club as well as the Jalapeño Caesar Salad. And oh my gosh were we beyond surprised! The club sandwich and fries were bomb! The caesar salad was also delicious and we could definitely taste notes of jalapeño in the dressing. The service was attentive even though we technically didn't have a waiter and the beers/food were served extremely fast. I give this place a 5/5 for the food and service. The beer was meh in my opinion. I'm a huge IPA fan so settled on the Moon Juice. It was ok... tasted very standard. My bf ordered the Mr. Pineapple which was surprisingly really good. I regretted my IPA choice once I tasted his... which doesn't usually happen. It was comparable to a pineapple version of Blue Moon but way better. Traveling east and stopped in for a bite. Party of 2 for lunch. We waited about 5 minutes to be acknowledged and seated. Paperless ordering was great until it wasn't. I ordered my food. My friend received an error message when ordering hers. The sever came and took the order. My friends food came out before mine - fish and chips. My food came out a few minutes later - chicken fingers and fries. The fish looked and tasted ok but was a bit dry. It was served with coleslaw and tarter sauce. My chicken fingers looked good but were dry and void of seasoning and flavor. I ate one and was done. The fries were ok. Added ketchup and ate a few fries. Overall, I say pass on this spot if you're hungry. Perhaps we just ordered the wrong items. But we ordered basic items so....... Maybe the alcoholic beverages are good but we didn't order liquor so I don't know. Next time I'll go across the flyer to Shake Shack or Panera Bread. read more

This place is amazing! I love that in terminal 3 of sky harbor airport they decided to bring in some local flavor. Our server Missy/Ruth was very friendly and knew the menu very well. She helped us pick out what to order and each of us drooled over the dishes brought to us. I had the chicken fingers and they were perfect. Crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. They absolutely have the best onion rings I have EVER tried in my life! We enjoyed bloody Mary's while waiting for our flight and they were spicy and delicious! I had the classic San Tan bloody and my husband had a Chipotle Bacon Bloody Mary which I tried and it was a bit too much flavor for me but he raved about it. My husband and son loved the burgers they ordered but I will have to say we were all blown away by how crispy and tasty the onion rings were and we aren't even real onion ring fans. They have a big bar and lots of tables around. Before we left I had a cherry limeade (adult style) it was amazing! We were so excited to get going on our trip to Seattle and get on our Alaskan cruise and this was the most perfect way to start it all off! read more

Right in the concourse! Air travel is improving! I am used to paying more just to eat on airport property, but at least here (imo) it's worth it! The brew was little different from what my beer connoisseur was used to, but that's part of the experience. My Chandler-based San Tan Root Beer was so different yet good: notes of spearmint and birch as well as vanilla! So good I had to bring a Canzilla home for the kids. Our light fare was a great idea-especially since we brought half of the wings on board and enjoyed them while others had peanuts and could only be jealous of our wings!! On top the nachos looked decently appetizing but as you made your way through layers of swampy cheese and sad beans a puddle of "what is that?" laid at the bottom of the cafeteria style tray. This place just opened and it's a hot mess!! Asked to be seated at a booth a party of 4 and was told that we couldn't sit there because the servers were going to be cleaning .... what? It's lunchtime and in an airport!! There wasn't very many people here and it took forever to be greeted by a waitress... she literally walked slower than a slug we all sat there watching her. We asked for water to start and when she brought them to the table it literally took 10 mins and she didn't bring straws. Funny thing is that we asked for straws and She never brought them and so we asked another server who was very sweet. The water had a funky taste ... it could have been the plastic cups but none of us liked the taste so we did ask for sodas. It took another 10 minutes to receive. We finally placed our order which was pretty simple ... 4 burgers and fries. Well the table behind us arrived after we placed our order and we couldn't believe they received there meals prior to ours!!! 45 minutes later our server brought 2 plates to the table and a gentleman followed a few minutes behind with the other two dishes. 3 out of the 4 plates matched, same size and shape while the 4th plate was much smaller and a different shape? Not sure why because all 4 meals were the same. Burgers were not cooked as ordered 3 burgers were over cooked and the other burger way undercooked. We were going to say something but because we literally sat for 45 minutes to be served we had no time; our plane was already beginning to board. The bacon on burgers were burnt and their French fries are breaded and then fried which we were unaware of. For just being open a brand new restaurant we were not happy with the meal or service. read more

Cool brewery. We were visiting from out of town and created our own beer tour and put this on it per other breweries recommendations. The beer was good and the brewery had a cool atmosphere. We tried. We wanted to love and support them because they were a new addition. We had about an hour before boarding so we thought, breakfast shouldn't be a problem.... The staff with the exception of one person contributed to the low rating. We were met at the hostess stand (not greeted, but met). The staff member began to walk us over to our table and was stopped by a waitress and she was clearly upset about the table assignments and started to berate him with a ton of questions as to why. Sigh- and yes, we were standing there listening to the whole thing with our bags. FYI - People in the airport aren't typically just casually hanging out with unlimited time on their hands. Anyway, the argument/ conversation finally ended when he gave her the amount of details she needed. Ugh. We then sit at the table and wait for 10 minutes. We get beverages and the waiter said he would look for our server. I stop him and tell him we have about 50 minutes left of the hour. He said it shouldn't be a problem, I look around and there doesn't seem to be too many customers so my colleague and I wait. Our server couldn't be found after another 10 minutes, so this kind server decides to try to help and takes our order. I inform him we have about 40 minutes left. He said it shouldn't be a problem. 10 minutes go by and he said he would check on our order. He said it shouldn't be too long. Another 10 minutes pass and he said our order is about 3rd in line?! Not sure what that means. More time passes and it is now about 7 minutes until our plane boards. He stops to apologize and comps the drinks - Oh thanks. We don't think our order was ever taken and the managers just sat at neighboring tables arguing with staff. It's too bad for the restaurant the staff didn't do them any favors that day. I do like SanTan Beer though. :) The restaurant itself, was nice, well laid out, bright with natural light. It has a lot of potential. read more

Back to three stars. Jazmyn did write to me after the last update. She referred me to the HMS Host Manager, who said that he was not authorized to reach out to customers after Yelp reviews. Service was awkward and the whiskey is like a flat soda it gives you sweet caramel smells but cannot deliver on the taste, slight vanilla then quickly disappeared to water. The whiskey should only be used for Coca-Cola; heavy on the Coca Cola. No food and server sits at the table with you. Place has a good look to it though!! Have to say that I had a few really good beers here and a solid club albeit on a sort of odd pita bread. Their Moonjuice IPA was solid. Not game changing but really good. For an airport stop (we were delayed 3 hours) it is a no brainer. It isnt a cheap date but Santan brewery is worth a visit of you are traveling through the Phoenix airport.
