My family and I visited this restaurant for the first time, and unfortunately, our experience was overwhelmingly negative. We had read mixed reviews, particularly about poor service, and sadly, they proved to be true. To start, it took about 1.5 hours just to get seated. While we waited, we reviewed the menu so we could order quickly once at our table. Despite doing so, we waited another hour for our food to arrive. In total, we were at the restaurant for nearly 4 hours, which is far too long for a standard dining experience. While waiting, we noticed several empty tables that were left dirty and unattended for long stretches of time, including one where a family of eight had left -- it remained untouched for over an hour. Many walk-in guests without reservations were turned away, despite those vacant tables. With better organization and dedicated staff to clear and reset tables, they likely could accommodate more guests efficiently. Of course, it's unclear whether that would shorten the food wait times, but it would certainly improve flow and first impressions. The bathrooms were also in poor condition -- unkempt and unmonitored, with a soggy roll of paper towels left in the sink area. It's clear they need to hire staff to clean and monitor restrooms at least hourly to maintain basic hygiene. Parking was difficult to find, adding more frustration even before we got inside. Perhaps most concerning was the lack of hygiene practices among the staff. Several employees were wearing gloves, but did not change them between tasks -- such as clearing dirty dishes and then serving food. The gloves appeared visibly soiled. Basic food safety protocols were being ignored, and staff need urgent training on proper glove use and basic hand hygiene. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) offers clear guidelines and would be a good starting point for basic hand hygiene training in a food service environment. To make matters worse, our waitress never returned to refill our water or check on us during our long wait. The lack of attentiveness made an already disappointing experience feel even more neglectful. While we came in hoping for a good meal and a nice time, this visit left us frustrated and concerned. We won't be returning and wouldn't recommend this restaurant until serious improvements are made in staffing, cleanliness, food safety practices, and overall customer service. read more

We were waiting for nearly more than 30 minutes before anyone acknowledged our presence. We let staff know but nevertheless no one ever came. Hoping to address the poor service I asked to speak to the manger. The manger was dismissive and unapologetic towards our situation. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant felt chaotic and unwelcoming. I strongly advise dinning against Santo Fish Restaurant. Save your time, money, and patience this place simply isn't worth it.
