Honestly had such a strange experience today at SAP. I ordered the special which was a scrabble with gouda, peppers, and bacon, quite good actually! As a side, I ordered brioche bread. The bread came out and there are no sauces provided at table (ketchup, jam, butter, etc.) I asked for butter and jam for the bread. The waitress first said that it's already cooked in a lot of butter and she would get me the jam. The waitress then came back with the jam and states she is saving my arteries by not bringing me butter. The table was perplexed that the waitress was not even willing to bring out butter after being g requested and then to comment on how it would impact our bodies... although the food is good and the atmosphere is fun, this comment is enough to make me second guess going back. read more

Was in town for our anniversary and a friend sent us here for breakfast. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We started with coffee drinks and enjoyed them! My husband got the bagel with salmon & capers and was satisfied. SAP is awesome!! The eggs Benedict special I had, I believe it was the chorizo one, was spot on. It was extremely flavorful and unique. The selection of lattes/cappuccinos is plentiful. What is even more impressive than the food, which is really surprising to say, is their service. In a time where finding workers is difficult, SAP has found a way to be well staffed allowing your food and other questions or needs you may have to be answered in a timely manner. While I would say it's on the pricier side all of their ingredients are fresh and organic so it's worth the cost if you ask me! read more

This was our second time eating at SAP. My oh my, were we NOT disappointed! My husband and I both ordered an omelette, I can't remember what my husband got in his omelette, but I got ham, white cheddar cheese and mushroom. I had to add a little salt but overall I was satisfied with my breakfast. I also had a vanilla latte and that was delicious as well. When visiting Appleton, we will definitely come here again! SAP is a nice restaurant with accommodating and nice staff. The food is good but not good enough for the price it is worth. A pretty generic restaurant with a little different dishes and bakery to spice it up. We had a large group when I went, with a reservation, and we still waited an hour. That was very frustrating for people who don't live in within a hour of the place. The place was noisy as well. read more

My wife and I visited Appleton 3-4 years ago and discovered SAP and the food was so delicious then. My family and I drove to Appleton the couple of days. Anyway, we went to breakfast both days at SAP. The food was still so delicious! The first day we had the daily special which included chorizo, potatoes, and scrambled egg. The 2nd day we had the lemon ricotta pancakes and they were delicious too! I included a photo of the lemon ricotta pancake. I wish I would have taken a picture of the daily special. My wife and I shared the meals both days. A full plate was brought out for each of us so don't let the price for one meal scare you as we both ate well. If you're a coffee drinker the coffee was very tasty as well. One person in our group is very particular about her coffee and she just loved the medium roast coffee. I had the dark roast and it was great too! My wife is not a coffee drinker so she had the hot chocolate with marshmallows. SAP makes their own chocolate mix with milk powder. Water is used with the mix. My wife thought the hot chocolate was very good and she is quite picky about hot chocolate. SAP even make their marshmallows from scratch and they were delicious! Also, kudos to Tammy as she was a terrific hostess the first day we were there. She went far and beyond the call of duty to make us feel welcome. Oh SAP, how I love thee. Atmosphere: Great outdoor seating section that has an overhead awning, so you can people watch everyone shopping at the strip mall this place is located at. Maybe 8 tables outside and another 20 inside? The inside has a small waiting area when you enter, and a bakery counter where you can get items like coffee or baked good to go. Service: I'm not sure if the slender red haired lady is the owner, or the manager...but that woman is fierce. I respect her organization and cool, calm, collect attitude. I've been here 3 times and she is ALWAYS there. I've seen her run around to see if each table is enjoying there meal, man the hostess station, and solve employee and customer issues. If I come here, I know if something would go wrong with our meal (as if) she would correct it. Food: First. They sell Colectivo coffee by the pound, bless them for all eternity for this. If you don't have a grinder at home, no problem they will grind it here to your liking. I loveeeee their bloody mary. They give you a cute baby beer chaser with it in a bottle. My husband and I were in town running errands and decided to take a quick stop for brunch. The vibe was super fun and casual, with some hybrid indoor/outdoor seating, traditional table seating, a bar, and carry out pastries. As usual, I tried the eggs benedict with the sap salad and sap potatoes and was very pleased with my choice. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the hollandaise was quite tasty. I did think the balsamic drizzle was unnecessary, but it didn't detract from the experience. My husband had the BYO omelette which was a very hearty serving. We both had been eyeing the lemon pancake, so we decided to splurge and get one as an add-on. OMG ITS SO GOOD!! Despite it being only one pancake, it is plate-sized (and I don't mean side plate!). I also tried their iced matcha latte, which was super flavorful and refreshing. The price point was a bit higher, but they serve locally-sourced organic foods, so it was in line with what I would expect for a higher quality meal. The service was great. Arrived in town to visit family and wanted to grab something to go. I saw this restaurant had very good reviews on yelp. My husband had gone for brunch here several months ago. We arrived on Saturday noonish and the place was jammed. The bakery/pastry selection was beautiful and delicious. We picked up a chocolate raspberry tart and strawberry cream cheese coffee cake. Sap is amazing and when back in Appleton we will return! The staff was professional and personable, despite being very busy. Chloe, our waitstaff person, was a gem from start to finish. We asked for recommendations and I took her suggestion for the corned beef hash since it was a childhood favorite. This is the only way I ever want to eat it now, so don't tell my mother. The hash was perfectly seasoned without being overly salted. Then it is covered in delicate pieces of corned beef, also flavorful without being too salty. The poached eggs, onions and salad that accompanied the entree enhanced it along with the homemade bread for the wheat toast and tasty berry jam. Once finished, we took home bakery from the case. The lemon cardamom cookies are out of this world. This place is truly worth seeking out when in the area. read more
