I called back a second time to verify the price and make an appointment. Once again making sure they knew what I had. Today when I arrived they said $174 was the price and oh, by the way you car is making a belt squeelibg noise. Trying to upsell me and not honor their price. After some discussion about honoring their price. I left. Less than a mile away I got the work done for $80. Midas won't see me again. I'm still recovering from my last "repair" and feel cheated even more from their price gouging Today (Thursday). I got my (non) apology from Midas. According to the manager it was still all my fault that they gave me an incorrect quote. He asked what could they do to make it right. I replied that an apology and admitting they had made a mistake would do it. That did NOT happen. All he could say was he was sorry I felt that way Now it is some time since my original review. I have found I'm banned for life from Midas. I spent thousands there before this review, but I'm now being considered a nickel and dimer for expecting them to honor a quote. I wasn't going back anyway, but this is ridiculous. I guess you are considered cheap when you expect someone to honor their quote

They did a nice job patching my tire for $33 but then decide to try and defraud me. Consumers Beware of Tires Plus. My battery was completely charged when I dropped my car off at the shop. Yet when Tires Plus called me, after my car tire patch was complete, Tires Plus also said my car battery was completely dead. And that I needed a new battery. Tires Plus then tired to sell me a new battery for $248. Remember my battery was completely charged at drop off at Tires Plus. I said no way to a new battery from Tires Plus. When I went to pick my car up, Tires Plus had completely drained my battery and provided a digital print out showing my battery was completely dead from Tires Plus draining my battery. Attached is the scam photo of my battery drained scan. As a drove my car, the battery recharged and I stopped Tires Plus from Defrauding me. I even went to a car battery store to have them check my battery after. I brought it to the Tire Kingdom on Clark in Sarasota and had two new tires installed and an alignment. The tech said I was out of toe adjustment. When I got the car out the camber on the rear passenger side was so bad the tire was rubbing the filler neck! It chewed up the inside of the tire and wore down the inner lip of the wheel. I replaced anything I hadn't replaced last year (springs, struts, shocks, sway bars, ball joints) with ALL new suspension components (Front and rear upper and lower control arms, rear toe arms, sway bar end links) and brought it back in for an alignment. I was told my car was ready. I came in, I paid and started to walk out. I turned around and asked for the alignment sheet. This is what I was given. It's abysmal and if I'd just walked out without asking for the sheet I'd have not known. Some backstory, the shop on Clark USED TO BE fantastic. The alignment tech was a true professional. The lady at the front desk went through everything if any issues were found. Now, the people in front are accommodating when it comes to scheduling, but apparently aren't looking at the work getting sent out. The new tech has left 3 straight alignments on my car a mess. I'm out several hundred dollars in tires and alignments and have to find another place to fix this cluster****.

My car failed me on the way to work before sunrise on Sunday! I made it to work and was overheard by Chad and Stacy (lucky for me) the owners of AAMCO transmissions. Wonderful people! They had me bring my car right in during off hours and had Tyler (another wonderful human) fix my car. After hearing my story how I was cheated by the other co. Charged me only for parts. My car is better than new!!! Thanks to honest, trustworthy, and caring people like those at AAMCO Transmissions on Clark rd. Sarasota. I will definitely use them for all my car repair needs always.
