In response to the two star rating. He called for an estimate that he received. It was more than the bill at the end, for more than what was actually wrong with the car. The car didn't all he thought it did. He excepted the work it needed and ask for what I thought it would cost to fixed. I told him what I thought not giving me chance to look everything up the next morning, being the end of the day. He didn't ask for a written estimate with labor or parts looked up this time. Once looked up the next day it called for 6 hours to do this job and he got charged 1.35 hours for it. He was showed how much time it called to do this job when he picked up the car and how much more it would have been other places. (Hundreds of dollars). And also seen where he was give the parts at cost because it was more than the educated guess was over the phone. From Virginia here, didnot know any shop around but Sherman's auto shop is the top best place to get your vehicle check. The staff is very nice and really good. My vehicle stalling on me and went to three different shops already. I went to D&D, Tire Kingdom, and certified fleet all no idea and told me there's no Problem to my vehicle. All charged me without doing anything to my vehicle. Certified fleet charged me 300 plus for change oil and attempt to look at my engine but not fix anything . Was really disappointed and as a woman, beginning to have phobia and scared to drive my vehicle. Thank God I called Sherman auto shop and told him my problem and the owner gave me a service above and beyond. Fixed the problem and including my si conditioner too the charge was like nothing. I came in with an older (2002) Ford F350 with front end issues. They were super responsive. Got me in quickly, and diagnosed the problem. His pricing was more than fair and he never once tried to upsell me which I really appreciated! So many times, as a woman, I walk into a repair shop and am faced with all kinds of repairs I don't really need. They replaced the ball joints, the hub (which after 23 years was beginning to fall apart) and the gear box. I was able to pick it up the next day!
