I ordered takeout from here this evening! I have had their pizza once before, but we decided to try calzones. One calzone was a sausage supreme, which was excellent. The other was a chicken calzone with peppers, tomatoes, and Alfredo sauce. It was good as well, but not the favorite. It was a little...watery? Maybe from the fresh vegetables. I would definitely order the meatball/sausage calzone again! The gentleman that brought the order to my car was pleasant as well. Ordered delivery and although the delivery driver was earlier than expected & super friendly the food was absolutely horrible. We ordered lasagna that literally had no meat. It was just 2 flat lasagna noodles smothered in Alfredo sauce. I got a sandwich and they literally gave me the HEAL of the bread. So despite the delivery guy being early and super friendly, i am still rating this with zero stars for the "smoosh" that they call food. Staying at the Hyatt hotel and since it's snowing tonight, I knew I needed to order in dinner. Pizza won't normally be my first option given I'm not much of a pizza person but knew I had to go with it tonight. Sarpino's was part of the list that the hotel handed out to me for deliveries and so I looked up the options and found good reviews about Sarpino's and decided to call and order. The guy who picked up the phone was fast yet polite and sounded like he enjoys what he does. He recommended the New York Deli pizza, basically for meat lovers so I got a personal pizza with 4 slices and was told it may take an hour and a half given the weather condition. I didn't mind at all and was grateful they're delivering despite the snow. So my pizza arrives in an hour or even less. It was hot and it was absolute perfection. So glad I didn't order from the normal fast food pizza branches! This was delicious and so worth it! It paired very well with my Cabernet Sauvignon! Pizza is terrible, ordered the gourmet cheese for 20.99 supposedly it should have lots of cheeses, hot and bubbly, we ordered it with two additional toppings that we paid 2.25 each for totaling 5.50. The pizza took an hour, and it was cold, the thin crust was over 1/2" thick, it had so little cheese you could peel it off in a thin strip and almost see through it. As for the pepperoni and Canadian bacon, we had the equivalent of one slice of Canadian bacon on the whole large pizza ( maybe less) cut into penny size pieces. It had free delivery but we tipped the driver 5 dollars. I would never order from them again. Very disappointed. If there were 1/2 stars I would give them that. read more

I ordered through Grub Hub. Not only did I pay a delivery fee, but I also added a tip. When the delivery person arrived they asked if I wanted to leave a tip (!) And when I pointed out I had online, he looked at his paper and said it's not on here. The food was okay, albeit a little overcooked and no cheese on the double cheese bread. Serves me right for ordering in, but I didn't want to miss the debate. I love Sarpinos' O.M.G...those wings fire roasted are just joys of heaven. The italian calzone with those lil hot peppers are to die for. Everytime I go I get the something. I call it in or order online its ALWAYS READY!! Not one time have they messed up my order. Had this delivered to my hotel this evening. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and chicken tenders. Let's see, pizza arrived and was cheese, I guess(photo attached). Certainly wasn't an 8" pizza. Supposedly 8 tenders in an order, there was 6. They tasted worse than frozen Tyson chicken tenders with freezer burn. They tried to deliver to the wrong address even though I put the name of my business as well as the suite number very clearly in the instructions. I'm always looking for an alternative to my husband's desire to order papa john's when we want take out pizza. Sarpino's moved into my neighborhood not that long ago so I thought we'd try them out. First the good: I liked the pizza. Lots of cheese and a very flavorful blend. It did tend to pull right off the pizza and my little one's had some trouble because of that, but they both ate it up. I thought the sauce was tasty without being too spicy or tomato pasty. I liked the fact they put some extra sauce in the boxes because I could have used some more on the pizza personally. I called at 5p stating I wanted to pick the pizzas up at 5:45 and they were ready and hot on time - a definite plus. We got the cheese (see above) $11 large and the margarita (which is a gourmet pizza and therefore $21). The amount of basil and tomatoes on the margarita were excellently done and you could just taste the flavor and the tomatoes were still a little firm, which was nice. Overall I really enjoyed this pizza. And they are open from 10am-2am. Now the bad: $21 for a large pizza? Are you kidding? It wasn't that much more special than a pepperoni except for a few more ingredients. Also the cheese didn't stretch at all, it was a little too solid for me. I'm very sad because I think that I might have been able to break my hubby's papa john's habit - but not for that price. read more

I don't even really know what to start off with.... :/ They constantly screw up my order, my food often arrives cold and missing one thing or another. Their online system says they accept payment with credit cards, but when you try, it won't accept them. You then have to call and give them the same credit card over the phone. So frustrating and not safe. Management still has not fixed issue and never apologized. They send you coupons and fliers for "free food" then refuse to let you use them and charge you for the free items. Even when you pay with cash, they still deny the discounts they offer online. Made an order tonight online using flier for free breadsticks. Order was $15+ and store called me saying they will add the breadsticks but my total would be $21. I cancelled the whole order. I was a big fan of their pizza for a while. They have unusual ingredients and generally have a good-quality product... but not for the price (which is UNREAL), and my husband and I have found that their pizza is the saltiest either of us have ever had. Their service is "meh" as well. They frequently take longer than their estimated time to deliver (which is already fairly long), and once we placed a carry-out order that they forgot to make. We got there--no apologies, no discount. Perhaps the Leawood location is better. I just don't really see the appeal when they are not that much better (especially for the price!) than Domino's or Papa John's. read more

This place is weird. The pizza usually sucks. It's mostly bread and sauce and not much in toppings, when they get the order right, which is rare. Almost every time they manage to forget something. One time our meat lover's pizza was just a plain cheese pizza. The thin nacho cheese lovers pizza is amazing though, I love it! The calzones and sandwiches are awesome too. I like how they deliver til 2-3am, that's what first got my business. Every time I've ordered from this Sarpino's I've had a great experience! Food is always good and whether I've carried out or ordered delivery, the food is always hot and fresh. Tonight I ordered delivery and Devin the delivery person forgot a part of my order. Very good for pizza delivery! I can't say that they were fast but the delivery charge was free & the prices were right! My boyfriend and I ordered from here last week. We both got personal pizzas with at least 4 toppings each. We ordered online which offered a buy one get one 50% off deal! The delivery took about 60 minutes and the pizza was hot! This is our new go to pizza delivery spot! Better than any national chain.
