Very well priced and quality meal. Customer service was sincere, considerate and communicative. It was Father's Day so the wait was longer than it normally would be but the employees gave us an accurate wait time and were kind despite the line of waiting costumers. Three bags fed, four people which pretty cheap considering the quality of the for! Outdoor area was clean. Overall I would give this restaurant 4.5 stars but the taste is 6 out of 5 stars. The taste BLEW us away. We have tried so many amazing restaurants, and I can easily say I've never seen my friend THIS satisfied after a meal. Repeatedly talking about how good the food was hours after we had finished. The sauce is perfect. We got medium spice. We loved it without the limes but then we added some lime juice and it took it to the next level. Everything was perfectly cooked. I mean the food couldn't have been better, truly. Now they prep everything to order which is amazing, but means that this can take a long time. I came to order this tray before the USA vs Paraguay World Cup game (I lived in PY which is why we splurged a little on this) and unfortunately I ended up missing the first goal because it took over 45 minutes for this order to be ready. Part of it was bad timing - there were 3 in-person orders ahead of me and an online pickup. I would definitely order online next time. Everyone was very nice, you order at the window, and you can eat there on their patio area or take it to go. The patio area has some great covered tables with fans to keep away the flies. Make sure you ask for bibs if you are getting your order to go! That's the only thing we were missing. This is in a residential area so parking is pretty impacted, but surprisingly I found a great spot right away! I know we will be back over and over again. I didn't see a restroom but not sure if they had one around the sign or something. You order at the window then seat yourself at their outdoor seating. They had umbrellas covering most tables but not all of them I like that each pound of seafood at this place comes with corn, potatoes, and sausage since most places don't do that. I think there was only one sauce option and you can just choose spice level We ordered one pound each of snow crab, crawfish, and mussels with medium spice level. From bad to worse. So, on Sunday night around 6pm, I placed an online order for a peeled shrimp bag. The site accepted my order and payment and told me to retrieve my order at 7:05pm. I arrived around 6:50pm and... they were CLOSED! They closed early and before fulfilling my order. Disappointment #1. They're closed on Mondays so, nothing I could do. Then on Tuesday I stopped by and explained my issue and they apologized and said they closed at 7, as they ran out of food. I was there before 7! Plus, they knew I placed my order and pre-paid. If this were true, they should have either called me or, waited until I arrived before leaving. THEN, when I received my food, it was a somewhat small portion and was just 'okay' in terms of taste. The food was okay, it definitely has an Asian fusion style to it. Being from Louisiana I really couldn't get into it how I wanted to. Also Pro Tip: Crawfish is better served cooked alive. The service was amazing, the lady who took my order was really sweet and the other guy also had great customer service. I will say, since it is in a residential neighborhood it seemed kind of ducked off and I couldn't tell it if was open or not. So we really wanted to love this place but unfortunately that wasn't the case for us. We came across this place while trying to find a seafood spot local in Long Beach that had good Cajun seafood with excellent flavor. Well the issue we had was the smell was so good we thought we had a winner with this place from the moment we walked up and to the moment we got our order handed to us. The whole drive back home we were like maybe we have a winner because it smelled so good. But when we got home and opened up our bags of food and actually started to eat. The food was just watery and nothing held any flavor. We were so disappointed. I mean we were so heart broken because we wanted this small business to show us it was going to worth the wait and the cost. It just didn't deliver. Kickin crab is better and costs more but it has flavor that stays on the seafood. We wanted to be able to tell our friends and family we found a small hole in the wall type place but this isn't it. For us with this being our first experience here. Sadly I don't think I'm willing to try this again after this unfortunately experience. I wish I could have said better, I wanted to after reading about their story and how they started but I just can't get behind how watery our food was no flavor at all. It was like that boil from red lobster and they shouldn't even offer a boil either. Not to mention my clams more than half were not even cooked long enough to open so I couldn't even eat them. I was so extremely excited to try this place.. I LOVE seafood. Me and my husband are staying in Long Beach for the weekend and decided to give this place a try.. I'm extremely disappointed to say the least. both me and my husband got food poisoning. Mind you, we spent $188 on this. I have been throwing up and in the restroom all day today. I don't know if we just unluckily got a bad batch of food or what. And the other reviews are right, there honestly was not a lot of flavor. More spice than flavor definitely. My bestie and I do seafood boil about once a month. We usually go to kicker crab cause we know it and it's nearby- we were scared to try a new place BUT WE ARE GLAD WE DID! We got the #2 seafood platter (the half platter). We got medium spice which was great for us but will probably try hot next time! (We like spicy) Quality of the seafood was great and they gave huge portions. I don't remember the last time we went home with left overs but this time we did and we were STUFFED. We had to ask for bibs and for tools to help crack the crab so just know those items are available upon request! We also requested something to keep the flies away which they had a little machine for which worked great. Fun being able to sit outside in a peaceful neighborhood. Love keeping it local! Located in a quiet neighborhood. The parking was not bad. They do have about 4 large outdoor tables that could hold up to 8 each. Most of the tables were taken so I got my order to go. I usually get peeled shrimp and Snow Crab together. Here, I had to order them separately. I got one mild and the other medium. Both were ready in about 10 min. The bags were of good weight. Each bag came with ¼ potatoes, sausage, & corn. I really did enjoy the mild sauce. The medium was too hot for my taste. Both bags included nice portions of seafood. The snow crab were spot on. For me, however, the shrimps were a tough chew. The shrimp was my only disappointment. Otherwise, everything was spot on as far as seafood boils go. read more

We stopped in on a whim after seeing this spot on Instagram, and overall it was a nice experience. It's a small, family-owned business, which we always appreciate supporting. A couple of suggestions that could really elevate the experience and bring in even more customers: offering complimentary water would be a thoughtful touch, and updating the tables (or adding covers) could make a big difference. The current wooden tables seem to absorb oil from previous diners, which makes them feel a bit unsanitary and harder to clean. As for the food, the presentation was beautiful and everything we tried was enjoyable. My partner especially loved the experience. The only note I'd add is regarding the flavor profile--while I understand it's a fusion concept, the sauce leaned much sweeter than what I typically expect from Cajun cuisine, which caught me a bit off guard. Tried to call the restaurant a few times but no one picked up the phone so I couldn't confirm if the order was actually canceled. Owned by a lovely Filipino family, we knew we had to come support and found out that this neighborhood spot is truly a hidden gem. We got the half tray with shrimp/crab/mussels (which is a pretty good portion for 4 people, but def good for 2 if you were really hungry and ready to go to town like we were lol) for about $80. The sauce is actually insane... we got mild and it was the best balance of sweet and spicy with lots of garlic! This place has to be in our top 3, if not our TOP, seafood boil place. Honestly super disappointed with my meal. From the looks, it seemed promising but as me and my boyfriend started to eat it, we became disappointed very fast. The shrimp tasted disgusting & the head was fishy (and to me I know the quality of shrimp is good when the head has NO fishy taste). I prefer the mussels that are huge but these mussels were tiny (just my preference though). The crab meat quality was not it, it seemed like it shrank and barely had any meat. My husband and I visited this place after seeing a reel on Instagram. The food here was so delicious we got the mild seasoning because I wasn't sure how spicy it was going to be since I like spice but not super spicy food well next time we are going to do medium. My husband loves seafood and I'm trying to try more seafood since I really just like shrimp however their lobster was the best lobster I ever had! The sausage was very flavorful and had nice little kick to it. The woman who took our order was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful my husband let her know that it was our first time there and what kind of seafood we wanted so she helped us out and recommended what we should get. I got a half size pan mix 1 and everything was soo good. The sauce was fire, perfectly seasoned with that garlicky, buttery Cajun flavor. I ordered mild, and it had just the right hint of spice without being overwhelming. They really hook it up with the sides too! I got 5+ pieces of corn and plenty of potatoes and sausage to enjoy with all the seafood. Which was a nice surprise, because a lot of seafood boil spots are skimpy with the sides.
