Delicious and high quality seafood boil! All of the seafood that I got (shrimp, snow crab, and lobster tail) were cooked very well and had a great snappy texture. It wasn't hard to get the meat out of the shells at all! I appreciated the add-ons like the potato, corn, and sausages too. I would recommend, but too bad it's take out only.

Good seafood. I think I will do medium next time because the mild is really mild. Cool customer service . I recommend and would have again.

Overall I would give this restaurant 4.5 stars but the taste is 6 out of 5 stars. The taste BLEW us away. We have tried so many amazing restaurants, and I can easily say I've never seen my friend THIS satisfied after a meal. Repeatedly talking about how good the food was hours after we had finished. The sauce is perfect. We got medium spice. We loved it without the limes but then we added some lime juice and it took it to the next level. Everything was perfectly cooked. I mean the food couldn't have been better, truly. Now they prep everything to order which is amazing, but means that this can take a long time. I came to order this tray before the USA vs Paraguay World Cup game (I lived in PY which is why we splurged a little on this) and unfortunately I ended up missing the first goal because it took over 45 minutes for this order to be ready. Part of it was bad timing - there were 3 in-person orders ahead of me and an online pickup. I would definitely order online next time. Everyone was very nice, you order at the window, and you can eat there on their patio area or take it to go. The patio area has some great covered tables with fans to keep away the flies. Make sure you ask for bibs if you are getting your order to go! That's the only thing we were missing. This is in a residential area so parking is pretty impacted, but surprisingly I found a great spot right away! I know we will be back over and over again. We are still not over how delicious this meal was!

Showed up on a Friday afternoon and there was no wait luckily. Located right inside a neighborhood with plenty of street parking. I didn't see a restroom but not sure if they had one around the sign or something. You order at the window then seat yourself at their outdoor seating. They had umbrellas covering most tables but not all of them I like that each pound of seafood at this place comes with corn, potatoes, and sausage since most places don't do that. I think there was only one sauce option and you can just choose spice level We ordered one pound each of snow crab, crawfish, and mussels with medium spice level. Each pound came in a separate bag but they also gave us a tray when we asked for it. The sauce was good and had a light kick but not too spicy. The seafood itself was good, only thing is the mussels were kinda small

Ordered for delivery! My kids love seafood boils and this was a spot we've been wanting to try. We always order from the Crab Shack- it's our go to spot. But this place packed a lot of flavor! I ordered the whole shrimp bag Medium and 3 orders of the crawfish bag. They are about a pound each bag. Next time I'll order the platter, but we're not a big fan of snow crab and I couldn't do any substitutions. Would we order from this place again? YES, but without the sausage- there was no snap to it and you gotta have that snap! Overall it was delicious!

It was good! The crawfish was delicious and juicy. The mild spice level was perfect for me and the sides of corn, potatoes, and sausage were all delicious. I give it a good 8.4 out of 10.

While Long Beach already has diverse food options, Sauler Cajun Nation is a needed new addition. I visited during opening weekend and loved the welcoming atmosphere and bold, flavorful seafood. The menu offers something for everyone, with options to order seafood by the bag or in giant half and full trays. My favorites were the easy-peel shrimp and lobster tails, which come served with: potato, corn on the cob and sausage. The signature sauce is tangy, mildly spicy, and addicting! If you prefer more heat, you can easily adjust the spice level to your liking. The half trays are surprisingly large--definitely enough to keep the whole family happy and full. Parking: Street parking only. While we found a spot nearby without any issues, it likely gets more difficult to find parking later in the afternoon. *** If your tastebuds are craving something new, give this spot a try. Everything is clearly made with quality ingredients and a lot of heart. ***

That shrimp boil was hitting--juicy shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes ALL included and drenched in that buttery, garlicky, spicy sauce ‍ Every bite had flavor, no dry spots at all. I also love that you can choose how you want your shrimp--head-on for extra flavor, no head, or even already peeled if you don't wanna do the work . The sauce itself is the highlight. It's very garlicky, buttery, and has a good kick, you can literally just put the sauce on top of white rice and be fully satisfied. This isn't a traditional Cajun restaurant--it's more of that LA-style seafood boil vibe--so come ready to get messy and dig in. Portions are decent and it's definitely satisfying if you're craving something rich and flavorful.

Absolutely delicious, the flavor is amazing and and shrimp is very easy to eat, even the crab shells come off easily. Although we didn't get our drinks until we were leaving since even we forgot about them, they unfortunately didn't have anything but small water cups and you do need to ask for any utensils and gloves. And luckily we went on a good day there was enough seating for us in the outside area.

Small, cute family spot! The seafood boil was pretty good, but thought that the flavor could have been stronger. Worth trying if you live in the area. The service was very hospitable and friendly. It's located in a neighborhood so there was a good amount of parking on a Sunday at lunch time. There are about 4 outdoor tables, but it wasn't busy when we went so we sat right away.

    Seafood Mix 2

Unfortunately my boyfriend and I both got food poisoning. We ordered the seafood mix 2 and although the workers were very kind and accommodating, I wasn't happy about getting sick. As for the food, the presentation was great but the king crab didn't feel super fresh, it was dry and shrunken. The potatoes were also on the harder side.

The food was okay, it definitely has an Asian fusion style to it. Being from Louisiana I really couldn't get into it how I wanted to. Also Pro Tip: Crawfish is better served cooked alive. The service was amazing, the lady who took my order was really sweet and the other guy also had great customer service. I will say, since it is in a residential neighborhood it seemed kind of ducked off and I couldn't tell it if was open or not. The set up is really nice tho and I could see them really being something big and they control the flavor more on the food. Other than that, I give it a sold 5/10

Seafood 1lb shrimp bag and 1 lb snow crab and also 1lb clams.

So we really wanted to love this place but unfortunately that wasn't the case for us. We came across this place while trying to find a seafood spot local in Long Beach that had good Cajun seafood with excellent flavor. Well the issue we had was the smell was so good we thought we had a winner with this place from the moment we walked up and to the moment we got our order handed to us. The whole drive back home we were like maybe we have a winner because it smelled so good. But when we got home and opened up our bags of food and actually started to eat. The food was just watery and nothing held any flavor. We were so disappointed. I mean we were so heart broken because we wanted this small business to show us it was going to worth the wait and the cost. It just didn't deliver. Kickin crab is better and costs more but it has flavor that stays on the seafood. We wanted to be able to tell our friends and family we found a small hole in the wall type place but this isn't it. For us with this being our first experience here. Sadly I don't think I'm willing to try this again after this unfortunately experience. I wish I could have said better, I wanted to after reading about their story and how they started but I just can't get behind how watery our food was no flavor at all. It was like that boil from red lobster and they shouldn't even offer a boil either. Not to mention my clams more than half were not even cooked long enough to open so I couldn't even eat them. It was just a let down.

The sauce in the bag felt a bit... watered down like it went for a swim before meeting the seafood. For a party of four, we ordered: SHRIMP LOVER COMBO, LOBSTER ROLL, SIDE OF RICE, BASKET OF SEASONED FRIES, AND MAD DOG XXX SAUCE on the side. Portion-wise, we left comfortably full and only slightly questioning our life choices. The Shrimp Lover Combo can't be modified. We chose Stinkin' Special and Spicy, which came with a plastic glove so you can dig in like a civilized gremlin. The Stinkin' Special was a generous blasts of Old Bay and enough garlic to ward off vampires. The Mad Dog sauce wasn't shock-your-soul spicy, but it definitely lingered. I was still feeling its friendly burn hours later and well into the evening. The LOBSTER ROLLL was tasty but fleeting. It's one of those dishes that makes you realize the meal is almost over right when you're hitting peak satisfaction. A little emotional damage there. We wrapped it all up with deep-fried Oreos and ice cream, which was an instant win. Sweet, cooling relief after all that heat. This was my second time here, and I've gotta say, I think this has officially become one of my all-time favorites. Downtown Long Beach has always had such a fun, foodie-filled atmosphere. I know some restaurants are struggling, but it's because they didn't have the same atmosphere & service. The food is great, but what really stands out to me are the PEOPLE. Even the servers who weren't serving our table intentionally, smiled, and said hello as they passed. I even remembered one of the servers from my last visit and her sister because they both have some of the most inviting personalities ever. That says a lot about the culture of a restaurant. We also had the opportunity to meet the new GM, which was another nice touch. Great food. Great ambience. GREAT people. And Steve,,,you're the best! 10/10. We'll definitely be back.
