    Half tray
    Katherine B.

Overall I would give this restaurant 4.5 stars but the taste is 6 out of 5 stars. The taste BLEW us away. We have tried so many amazing restaurants, and I can easily say I've never seen my friend THIS satisfied after a meal. Repeatedly talking about how good the food was hours after we had finished. The sauce is perfect. We got medium spice. We loved it without the limes but then we added some lime juice and it took it to the next level. Everything was perfectly cooked. I mean the food couldn't have been better, truly. Now they prep everything to order which is amazing, but means that this can take a long time. I came to order this tray before the USA vs Paraguay World Cup game (I lived in PY which is why we splurged a little on this) and unfortunately I ended up missing the first goal because it took over 45 minutes for this order to be ready. Part of it was bad timing - there were 3 in-person orders ahead of me and an online pickup. I would definitely order online next time. Everyone was very nice, you order at the window, and you can eat there on their patio area or take it to go. The patio area has some great covered tables with fans to keep away the flies. Make sure you ask for bibs if you are getting your order to go! That's the only thing we were missing. This is in a residential area so parking is pretty impacted, but surprisingly I found a great spot right away! I know we will be back over and over again. We are still not over how delicious this meal was!

Showed up on a Friday afternoon and there was no wait luckily. Located right inside a neighborhood with plenty of street parking. I didn't see a restroom but not sure if they had one around the sign or something. You order at the window then seat yourself at their outdoor seating. They had umbrellas covering most tables but not all of them I like that each pound of seafood at this place comes with corn, potatoes, and sausage since most places don't do that. I think there was only one sauce option and you can just choose spice level We ordered one pound each of snow crab, crawfish, and mussels with medium spice level. Each pound came in a separate bag but they also gave us a tray when we asked for it. The sauce was good and had a light kick but not too spicy. The seafood itself was good, only thing is the mussels were kinda small

It was good! The crawfish was delicious and juicy. The mild spice level was perfect for me and the sides of corn, potatoes, and sausage were all delicious. I give it a good 8.4 out of 10.

While Long Beach already has diverse food options, Sauler Cajun Nation is a needed new addition. I visited during opening weekend and loved the welcoming atmosphere and bold, flavorful seafood. The menu offers something for everyone, with options to order seafood by the bag or in giant half and full trays. My favorites were the easy-peel shrimp and lobster tails, which come served with: potato, corn on the cob and sausage. The signature sauce is tangy, mildly spicy, and addicting! If you prefer more heat, you can easily adjust the spice level to your liking. The half trays are surprisingly large--definitely enough to keep the whole family happy and full. Parking: Street parking only. While we found a spot nearby without any issues, it likely gets more difficult to find parking later in the afternoon. *** If your tastebuds are craving something new, give this spot a try. Everything is clearly made with quality ingredients and a lot of heart. ***

That shrimp boil was hitting--juicy shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes ALL included and drenched in that buttery, garlicky, spicy sauce ‍ Every bite had flavor, no dry spots at all. I also love that you can choose how you want your shrimp--head-on for extra flavor, no head, or even already peeled if you don't wanna do the work . The sauce itself is the highlight. It's very garlicky, buttery, and has a good kick, you can literally just put the sauce on top of white rice and be fully satisfied. This isn't a traditional Cajun restaurant--it's more of that LA-style seafood boil vibe--so come ready to get messy and dig in. Portions are decent and it's definitely satisfying if you're craving something rich and flavorful.

Small, cute family spot! The seafood boil was pretty good, but thought that the flavor could have been stronger. Worth trying if you live in the area. The service was very hospitable and friendly. It's located in a neighborhood so there was a good amount of parking on a Sunday at lunch time. There are about 4 outdoor tables, but it wasn't busy when we went so we sat right away.

My husband and I visited this place after seeing a reel on Instagram. The food here was so delicious we got the mild seasoning because I wasn't sure how spicy it was going to be since I like spice but not super spicy food well next time we are going to do medium. My husband loves seafood and I'm trying to try more seafood since I really just like shrimp however their lobster was the best lobster I ever had! The sausage was very flavorful and had nice little kick to it. The woman who took our order was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful my husband let her know that it was our first time there and what kind of seafood we wanted so she helped us out and recommended what we should get. When we were all done we had leftovers to take home and she let us know that she can wrap the tray for us that was awesome! We enjoyed the outdoor seating and they gave us everything to enjoy our food bids and tools. We will definitely come back and we recommend that if you are looking for a great place to enjoy seafood you should definitely check out Sauler's.

The food and service is amazing, it is an outdoor seating only. Other than that it is amazing, great flavor and very sweet people.

The food was okay, it definitely has an Asian fusion style to it. Being from Louisiana I really couldn't get into it how I wanted to. Also Pro Tip: Crawfish is better served cooked alive. The service was amazing, the lady who took my order was really sweet and the other guy also had great customer service. I will say, since it is in a residential neighborhood it seemed kind of ducked off and I couldn't tell it if was open or not. The set up is really nice tho and I could see them really being something big and they control the flavor more on the food. Other than that, I give it a sold 5/10

I wanted to love this place but it lacks seasoning. I ordered the shrimp bag which includes potatoes, corn, and sausage. Spice level was medium. For the price point it was decent. The service was quick. Unfortunately there is no indoor eating/restrooms. It's a walk up restaurant and there is some tables/seating outside.

    Brendan W.

Enjoyed every bite! I came in the evening, the lights and clean outdoor seating area made it very easy to enjoy my meal. This place does not hold back with the portions, seasonings, or welcoming/speedy customer service. I will be back very soon 10/10!

Checked out Sauler's Cajun Nation on their grand opening day and they did not disappoint. Definitely a strong first impression. You can also tell they've already built a strong following on social media, and it makes sense why. I'm excited to see this spot grow.

Since we had smaller appetites, this was basically finished before we left to get back home. seafood chowder: holy moly, I mean the cheese being shredded (chef's kiss emoji), imitation crab, green onions, shrimp, potato, this was so rich and creamy. we regretted only getting a cup but it was also just enough due to the richness (and our lactose intolerant tummies). vietnamese coffee: well I didn't know it was going to come in a cup as big as one's bladder, but this (as one knows about Vietnamese coffee) packed the punch in your throat by the first sip. I felt like I got flashbanged in the gulag. the flavor was also delicious, can't go wrong - but maybe let the ice melt before you try chugging it.

The beef itself was a little chewy and in large pieces. I prefer the meat to be cut a little smaller and would like more lettuce and cucumber. I got a little taste of the spicy fried rice, which was really good. Some of us ordered Thai tea and didn't expect what we received, which was the tea with a Thai tea popsicle. What a treat! First off, street parking can be a challenge, but we were able to find a spot right away. It is a very small restaurant, but kudos to the owners and architect who made really good use of the space. When you walk in, it is transformed, and you feel like you are in a whole different environment. The decor, the lighting, the layout, the furniture make this place spectacular and great photo ops. They have a huge TV for watching sports especially the World Cup, which was playing when we got there. They have a bar area. We got there right when they opened so I think the waiter was still setting things up, but was super friendly to us. The manager arrived and helped us since the waiter was still setting up. The manager, Carlos, was extremely friendly and helpful. And another couple walked in to eat, and they were attended to very quickly by the manager as well. We asked for ceviche, although we know they had just opened and breakfast was being served, however they were more than accommodating to get us ceviche. Even the tableware matched everything about this restaurant. I enjoyed the wood piece table wear and the set up. To start, we were brought tostadas. It looked like a couple of them may have been made with nopale, they were green. They included a roasted mild salsa with the tostadas. The presentation of the ceviche was stunning! They gave us a small jar of their salsa macha, which is an oil based red seed chili. It's amazing on everything, but especially on top of the ceviche. The portion was generous. They also gave us more tostadas and crackers. They also have unique desserts, I think I've read they make their ice cream in house and they had flavors like beet and avocado. Definitely need to try the next time I return. I highly recommend this place. I cannot wait to return to try their breakfast and other entrees. It's going to be hard not to order the ceviche as well because it's gotta be the best in the area. Definitely a new fave spot!
