Iced peach breve latte (off menu), and a Guava kolache and Blueberry-Lemon Kolache
    Stephanie W.

I really like teal house! I came here to pick up a drink for my mom and some pastries I wanted to try. My mom likes peach drinks and breve lattes so I asked if they could make her something off menu like this, and they literally made her an iced peach breve latte! They were really sweet about it too. I also got a blueberry/lemon kolache and a guava kolache because I like trying unique flavors. They were both delicious but especially the blueberry! They have normal cafe food too, but even just trying these things both me and my mom were very happy. It's a well lit place too with plenty of tables inside and some modest parking in the small lot outside, so it's a nice place to sit and hang out in the mornings (do note they close in the early afternoon though so you can't hang around all day/go in the evening). Overall really like this place, hope it's around for a long time!

We both got a cinnamon roll, a drip coffee and a tea. Cinnamon roll was on point. I wouldn't go as far as to say it is THE BEST I've ever had, but it was tasty and very fresh. Service was great. Ambiance is fine. A bit small and was crowded today. Not a lot of seating inside. They do have outdoor seating, but it was a bit brisk today. The drip coffee was a tad bitter for my liking.

I LOVE TEAL HOUSE. I go at least once every time I visit Austin. The kolaches are seriously some of the best I have ever had (they sell out). The staff here is so kind and the customer service is great. The coffee is good. I really really recommend getting a kolache, but they also have good cinnamon rolls and other pastries. Great location off south congress.

Made a random stop on my way to the airport. What a cute place. Staff promptly greeted me and also made excellent suggestions for a quick bite to eat and something for the flight. Unisex restrooms and places inside and outside to enjoy your visit. The music was varied and low enough to enjoy while still allowing conversation.

Dubai pastries were solid. Very sweet, but good! They had high chairs which is always a plus with multiple babies. Lots of windows and everyone was so friendly Open on thanksgiving day which I was very grateful for. The chocolate croissant and almond croissant were good, but it felt like they had a cookie in the center and that the top 1/2 was pretty dry. I think these just probably got warmed a little too long maybe Coffees were coffees. Nothing special but definitely got the job done. I would come back here again!

Was staying by an Airbnb that was close by and came here for coffee and tacos. I was surprised to see all the amazing looking pastries in their glass cases. They were quite large so I didn't get one but I did order a potato egg and cheese taco and a plain hot latte. The latte was great! Was pleasantly surprised that the tacos were made in house albeit it was quite pricey at $5. The eggs or potatoes had too much cooking grease unfortunately. Their green salsa was tasty and spicy! Highly recommend this coffee shop. Service was fast and friendly. The coffee shop was clean and airy. Perhaps next time I'll try a pastry and see what all the fuss is about.

Food - omg yum I see why someone said they were obsessed with the cinnamon rolls!!!! My friends split the Queen Noelle pastry and the pistachio croissant. When asked which they preferred, it was 51 to 49 with pistachio taking a slight win. Service - Very kind! Quick hot pastries! Ambiance - Chill cozy vibe with early 2010's hits playing

Aug 16, 2025 review: --- One of our friends got us the few desserts from this place at a gathering, it included pistachio croissant, almost croissant, blueberry lemon Danish, savory Danish. Pistachio croissant was amazing. We heated it up for 1 min in air fryer and it was super flaky. Not easy to cut in pieces but we somehow managed. Everyone truly loved it. Not super sweet but just decent sweetness. Savory croissant was 10/10. Loaded with cheese, bell pepper. Almost croissant was also very flaky. Over 10/10 experience. I may try in person sometime.

Still such a solid spot for an amazing latte (servicing Medici) and I finally caved and got their cinnamon roll and the hype is REAL. Sweet and buttery and cinnamon-y. My God, this is what fat girl dreams are made of. Such a cute little no frills bakery with quick and kind service.

I work near Swedish Hill, so my coworkers keep recommending it, but they have nothing on Teal House. I've driven past hundreds of times, and so happy to finally check them out today. These pastries are so delicious and expertly made. 10/

Stopped by to get some of their famous cinnamon buns. Middle size buns with alot of icing. Not too sweet which is always a plus. Heat them up and it's one delicious thing. It was a bit expensive in my opinion. $5 a bun but it's worth it.

Ordered online. Great flavor cinnamon roll. Smaller than others but light and fresh. Parking is small and tight.

The cinnamon rolls were fresh. A bit on the savory side. I'd be willing to try them again.

Compared to Caphein, Dam has a more relaxed vibe with additional seating, which makes it a great place to hang out or get some work done. I noticed it's also a popular study spot for students, so a few extra outlets would be a nice touch. That aside, every matcha I've ordered here has been amazing in both flavor and consistency. The matcha taste actually comes through, and the drinks never feel too watered down or overly sweet. Overall, Dam is easily staying at the top of my Austin matcha list and is a spot I'd keep coming back to.

There is a parking lot that you can get validation for 2 hrs free, but after that you will be charged. Overall though, it's totally worth a visit! The bartenders are really friendly, the bathrooms are immaculate, and the inside of the place is really cute -- think kinda pink vintage? There are some tables, and big comfy couches around a coffee table in the middle of the bar which is where we sat. I had one of their happy hour cocktails that was similar to a creamy espresso martini, and they are 50% off on happy hour days/times! My friend got one of their floral cocktails which wasn't discounted but I LOVED it personally. I also got a strawberry matcha drink (non alcoholic) that was a little too sweet in my opinion; I finished it but wouldn't get it again. Overall though the cocktails and vibe in there are worth a visit alone! When it's not too hot, the area outside has little mini-chandeliers and is also very vibey.

They have premium prices still. They sell pastries and they have a taco food truck connected to it. Both are still very much overpriced. I get it, they are inside a nice hotel and so they will charge a premium but at least have the quality match that.
