This cute little spot is pretty decent! I'm glad I found it. It's close to my job so I'll be dining in here from time to time. Maybe only on paydays as this spot is a bit pricey. It's worth it. I enjoyed the atmosphere and food alike. The staff was quick and friendly. It's a tiny spot so make sure to plan accordingly if you're visiting with a large group. I also had their butter cake. Fabulous find! I picked up my meal and it was quick, well wrapped and all at the perfect temperature. The restaurant is small but cute in an adorable neighborhood and the folks there were friendly and fast. Walking in, the smell got me going as it was soooo enticing and the food followed suite. I got the Chicken Parmesan. It was huge so you will get your moneys worth, and also perfectly cooked and the right amount wonderful sauce. Surprisingly, gnocchi was the pasta that came with which is not the norm, but it was tender and also large which made this quite the hardy meal. I was in the area and decided I was in the mood for a sandwich. I didn't feel like hunting for a great cheesesteak place so I figured any old sandwich shop would do. I ended up here. I personally felt like there was too much roast pork but I thoroughly enjoyed the broccolini!!! I also got long hots. Veggies in my sammich?!?!? Sign me up!!!! My ravenous hunger allowed me to finish 90% of my sandwich and chips before I moved onto the real star of the show: the butter cake. Have you ever struggled to stop eating because you were stuffed but you didn't want to stop eating because what you were eating was so dang delicious? That's how I felt about the butter cake! I bit in and I knew I was going to lose the fight of self discipline and control. I kept eating, eating and eating until I was down to the last few not as exciting bits of the butter cake. Food is great, you can't go wrong with their pasta entrees. Whole menu is served all day, no formal seating or server. You have to go and order food at the register. Cash is preferred. Only one hostess who appears to manage everything from sitting arrangement, taking order, bringing food and cleaning as well as payments. Still service wasn't bad. They have made to order policy so be patient to wait for your food. But one suggestion would be food was too hot to eat, almost burned my mouth so would recommend adjusting the temperature. Ambience was old style, relaxed seating. Parking was available for us as we went for lunch, per the server they have parking in the open garage opposite of restaurant as well street parking so might not be a problem. This place is fantastic. I had the Sunday gravy Parmesan. It was a gray deal. Very tasty - the Sunday gravy is a heck of a lot better than the std tomato sauce. Rich, flavorful. I asked for sharp parm cheese which was the perfect offset for the Sunday gravy. It was too much, but I couldn't stop eating. I asked what was better, the meatballs or the cheese steak. She said those were two of their best items. So we ordered one of each. That may have been the BEST cheesesteak I've ever had, and one of the best meatball subs (if you like soft rolls).
