Expect it to take at least 30 minutes to get lunch here. This is an awful location. Worst lunch sandwich experience I've ever had. They also have blocked off the parking lot so you have to park over in the petsmart parking lot. There's no reason for it, they just don't want people driving in from that direction. I was very excited to order because I've heard everything is great but given the times I ordered delivery through doordash. My food arrived soup still hot and sandwich not smashed which was awesome. They're generally a bit confused, and they seem to have a horrendous turnover ratio, but what foodservice place doesn't nowadays? If you like Schlotzsky's sandwiches (and if you like sourdough bread, you like their sandwiches), then this location is as good as any. Their drive-thru is generally pretty quick, as is their inside service, considering the food they serve. Oh, and if you've never had Schlotzsky's, beware that it's not hard to end up paying $15 for a large sandwich. It's worth it, though. Also, their pizzas are surprisingly good as well. read more

What the h*ll happened? We love Schlotzky's but they royally screwed up our take out order. this is especially not good when you are feeding kids. Its just another sandwich place but with pizza on the menu. Went to this particular location in great hills , employees seem to b friendly, courteous at the counter. While the other employee in the dining area was busy on his cell phone. Place wasnt busy so i guess its ok for employees to b on cell phones. This is the crappiest Schlotzskys location I have ever been to. This visit was my last to this location. I am just completely irritated with all the little shit they can't get right. Its simple, but if they can't get it right and try to act like its my fault the order is wrong, then they don't fucking deserve my business ever again. They always screw something up on my order. Every damn time the same guy with an incredibly monotone voice asks if I want a pickle spear. I would've asked for it if he hadn't. Hell, give me the entire jar of pickles. I now have to check the bag before I dirve away because every fucking time its not in the bag. Sometimes the chips are missing. On one occasion I had to park and go inside because the Cinnabons were MIA. This time I asked for the smallest drink size they had. I said it twice because he asked to make sure I wanted the regular size and not a large. I am not a quiet talker and he said ok after I repeated it. When I got to the window he handed me a giant drink cup and I said no to it. This is not what I ordered, but apparently I had just paid for this stupid drink I knew I wouldn't finish in the first place. I told them I ordered the smallest size for a reason and repeated it to him when he asked about it. This woman tried to say oh well he couldn't hear you through the speaker. I said he wasn't listening then because he asked me to make sure he got it right. I told him specifically I wanted the smallest drink and I wasnt quiet about it. Like dont fucking make excuses about it and not even apologize for the fuck up. I guess I was too busy thinking about never coming back in thr future to realize until I was on the ither side of the parking lot that, yet again, no goddamn pickle spear in the bag. So I parked and went inside and she rudely stormed over to the counter and said what's wrong now? And without attitude I said just like every time Ive come here Im asked if I want a pickle spear and its not in the bag. She acted like it was going ti break her fucking back to go get it and bring it back. Shouldve put the motherfucker in the bag in the first place and these scumbags wouldn't have even had to deal with seeing my fucking face again. I get that this job is probably pretty stressful at times, being on your feet that long sucks, people make mistakes, etc. But if you vent get shit right more than 5 times with the same customer in over a year I'm not giving you my business ever again. Service at this restaurant can be unreliable. However, the food is excellent. Top notch, i'd say. On multiple occasions they have forgotten certain things, never anything major, but thinks like cookies, drinks, cinnabon's etc. However, the sandwiches are always delicious and above satisfactory. Food was pretty good but many other aspects of the store were below average. The customer service was below ideal and the store was just flat out dirty. Windows, seats, and floors were stained and covered with trash. Pests were flying throughout the store. The store was not clean under any means. This Schlotzsky's is real clean and updated. Their food is good quality. Only thing is they don't always give you pickles and mints with your drive through sandwich order, you have to ask for them. Wow, never going there again to eat. The person taking the order was very nice and helpful, but the sandwich maker created a horrible sandwich. After ordering the Vegetarian sandwich, we asked whether it was a warm sandwich and they said "Yes, and that was fine. The sandwich came out cold. They offered to remake ... nice of them. The remade sandwich came 15 minutes later. It was toasted, dry, and charred black. Biting into it resulted in sharp shards of bread shredding the insides of the cheeks. Ouch! When we talked to the manager, he looked upon the sandwich with wonder. No wonder they print coupons like there's no tomorrow. This location is very clean and new inside and looked quite different from the last time I came here years ago. They now have the fancy coke machines where you can pick your flavorings and customize your soda. The Albuquerque Turkey is my favorite and the medium is a decent size but not super filling. I love the enthusiasm and excitement of the managers. The other employees are nice too. I'm sad. Apparently Schlotzsky's hasn't mastered Customer Service 101. Came through the drive-thru on March 9, on my lunch (I work a decent distance away), and ordered a smoked turkey combo. Got back to work, opened my sandwich and instead of "no lettuce," I think they thought I asked for, ""extra lettuce" (I hate lettuce on my sandwiches). I called and spoke to someone and explained the situation and they said to come back in and mention Mike's name and my lunch would be replaced. So I did that just that today and was greeted with "nope, just the sandwich.... you have to pay for your own chips." When I told the girl at the drive-through that is poor customer service, she pretty much said, "oh well too bad." I have worked for some of the all-time best customer service places out there (Nordstrom for 10 years, for instance), and I can tell you having to fork over even a $1.61 for a bag of chips was an insult to any customer service standards. I didn't ask to be compensated for my drink or my cookie but thanks Schlotzsky's, you've ruined my lunch twice now......way to go! read more

I'm giving this only 2 stars because of the horrible food I got there tonight. I eat at this restaurant about once a month and the food is pretty decent, especially the turkey club and the salads and the cinnabuns. The bread is great, food tastes fresh. Tonight, however, I got the pick 2 (half sandwich and half salad). I got the roast beef and cheese with a chicken Caesar salad. Horrible. The bread was like biting into a rock. The roast beef was dry and disgusting. The lettuce on the salad was mostly the white part of a head of lettuce you would throw away. It was like a completely different restaurant. It was like someone had ordered these things and left without them and they sat all day. I really hope this is not an indication of things to come. Really disappointed. read more
