Worst Harley store I have been to, customer service was terrible the women in the clothing department did not know anything including the manger who admitted she had not been employed for more than 3 months. I kept getting the push off and giggles when I asked about their products. When they did try to answer a few questions they would admit they were unfamiliar with their computer system. Absolutely the WORST customer service I've ever experienced in over 35 years of motorcycle riding. We took my wife's Fat Boy in for repairs after making an appointment and dropped the bike off on time at 10am. After hearing nothing from them all day, we called a little before 5pm to get told they had no plans to even look at the bike until the next day. Would have been nice if someone had mentioned that when we made the appointment or dropped the bike off! To make a long story short, after a week and a half, 5 calls from us to get updates, and no calls from them, we finally got the bike back. As soon as we started the bike up, the check engine light came on and stayed on. We got a 1/2 mile from the dealership and had to turn around to bring the bike back. Turns out they knew there was a problem but didn't bother to tell us before taking our money and returning the bike. There explanation was "well, you didn't pay us to diagnose anything else." Needless to say, we will NEVER let them touch another bike of ours. We have the bike in another shop getting all the problems fixed that Chandler Harley failed to take care of. read more

I cannot say enough about these guys. I brought my bike in on October 19. I had an electrical problem. The part I was told would have to be ordered from Harley in Milwaukie. I had scheduled a run to Rocky Point Mexico ,for the 10th and 11th of November ,so I thought that's plenty of time. . Wrong!!!. I was told the part was on backorder and would not be here til the 22nd of November. I called Chris, the general Manager on the 8th of November, and explained that I had room reservations, and friends all set to go. Could he help out a brother? He could not have been nicer! He called Harley ,and had them over night the part !The service manager called me ,and said the part was in ,and he would have my bike ready for pickup that afternoon I am very greatful to Chris, and all the people who made my trip a success. Took my bike in for my handlebars shaking when I break. At first I felt pretty informed. My bike was the first one there in the morning 8am. I got a call around 11am they said its the handlebar riser bushing that is bad and the would put a poly. bushing on for about $45 and it should be ready by 3pm. That is 7 hours! Although, I was very happy that was the only issue. When I got my bill it showed that I owed $238!!!!! I understand labor is $125 and hour. I was charged $156 in labor alone. I was charged for a DIAG that I did not ask for and 1.25 hrs of labor! For a job I feel should only take 30 min. All I wanted them was to fix the single issue I had brought the bike in for. So not only was my bike literally there all day but I was dramatically overcharged. There needs to be a massive change in communication with service to customer. And exactly what they are being charged or even an estimate. I will not be giving chandler Harley any of my business and will make sure I let all my brothers know how bad my experience was. read more

I drive by Chandler Harley Davidson everyday on my way to work. I stopped in and spoke with Jeff Barbaree, internet sales. That was the beginning of one of the best most enjoyable experiences I have ever had purchasing anything. I was taken in like family and treated like royalty. The entire process was awesome, we met the parts specialist Tag, what a character, he is very knowledgeable and knows his job and bikes very well, then we have Jackie and team in the apparel department, holy sh*t these girls are a riot they go above and beyond and make it look easy, they were born to do what they do, Susie in the finance department made the purchase seem like a joy ride in itself. The entire staff loves what they do and it shines through in the way they treat whom ever walks through their doors. I've lived all over the USA and this shop is by far one of the best. Keep up the good work, other shops could learn a thing or two from you and your staff. Thank you Jeff for making it an experience and not just a sale. Now get out and ride!!!! read more

Purchased my bike there sales were fine no complaints there. Merchandise dept. fine very friendly. My issue is with parts and managment and service I have tried to get parts many times with the help of a parts person 50% of the time they give you the wrong one. Got a seat for my model and make I'd hd. Got it home and it fit like hell. Went back to talk to them. Sorry it's yours try selling it on eBay or CL. Tried charging me 3 hours of labor for simple slip on pipes !! I have done this myself in less than one hour without a lift or shop. Overall would I buy from them again. Maybe. Just don't trust anything else they say or do. Worse yet they don't stand behind anything they do read more

I have very mixed feelings about this dealership. The motorclothes girls are amazing. They are always very personable and willing to help. My issue is with the parts department. I have had many jobs working with clients as well as my own business. When you are competing against online retailers with lower prices you need to differentiate yourself from your competition. Generally speaking 80% of a businesses revenue comes from 20% of your customers. My boyfriend Spends quite a bit of money at this dealership and when Paul was still working here he was always willing to discount a bit extra what any average joe would be able to get on pricing. I know this was appreciated by my boyfriend because he felt like his business was valued. Unfortunately when Paul left the department went downhill quite a bit. Not only was the department not willing to help but they had an attitude about it and on one occasion walked away mid conversation. We always try to support local but at this point we will be like everyone else and either go online or find a business that values their best customers. read more

Just to let you know how they treat employees. Rental department closed May 31. Two employees were there for about 10 years. The last communication they had from their boss was a phone call advising them of closing four or five weeks prior. They both worked their last day without any communication from any management person. No good by no good luck not even an offer to transfer to another department. If this is how they treat dedicated employees how are they going to treat you. Don't know about you but I'm going to another dealership to buy my ride. read more

Took two bikes in to trade on an new one. I got the new car sales pitch that when on for six hours. My bad for not walking away. Essentially they got one bike free. I still go there for parts because Andrew the parts guy is awesome. The rest of them suck. If you aren't buying a new bike they don't give you the time of day. Their sales department has no ethics. My review has to do with Extended Warranties. I bought a brand new HD Low Rider in 2000, yes 2000 and these guys convinced me to purchase an extended warranty for $1500, with the understanding that this warranty was only valid at their dealership. No problem! Also, if I didn't have to use this policy that after 7 years, my money would be cheerfully refunded. In June of 2007 I tried to get my money back but Matt, the GM at that time refused to give it to me. It is now 7 years later and I am still "ticked off". Do yourself a big favor and don't waste your time purchasing from Chandler Harley for a new or used Bike. They provide you a "discount" off of the MSRP but deliberately inflate all the fee's by a few thousand dollars to make up an exorbitant OTD price...Compare other Dealer's Fee's with other Dealers since the fee's/costs should all be the same. I was looking for a specific 2017 CVO since the 2018's just came out the other day. Do yourself a Very Big Favor since I am always looking for the best deal and buy many bikes. Take the time and go online to Cycle trader or Chopper Exchange and look for that new or used bike you want and then Contact that "Out of State" Dealer for your best price. The shipping is inexpensive in comparison to purchasing a new bike in your State and the bike can be shipped to your home and it's no big deal to set up since there are a lot of professional insured/bonded shipping companies available and the selling Dealer can definitely assist. Salespeople are far too pushy for my liking. The first thing they ask me is, "what do you ride." So, I tell them and I'm happy with that. Then when I tell them "No thank you", they cop an attitude with me. "Did you buy it from us?", or, "Why didn't you buy it from us?," if you woulda bought it from us then..." Every time I go in the place I hear the same music. That's why I don't go in there any more. read more

My first experiences with Chandler Harley Davidson have pretty much been pleasant but I had just been going there for social events and dreaming over the new bikes. My first experience with their service department was because they were the only shop that could get my tire replaced when I needed it. They found that the wheel bearings looked questionable and replaced them for pretty much for the cost of the part. It did take longer than they said but this was a Saturday and they were serving free hot dogs and soda, plus watching the bikini bike wash girls made it less painful. The service people seemed much more knowledgeable & helpful than other Harley dealerships so when I got an email from Chandler Harley Davidson with what seemed like a good deal on a Screaming Eagle upgrade, I went over to see what was included. To make a long story short I was quoted $3270-ish out the door. I understood that this included a 30k mile service because that is the total number I was asking for. I walked away and then the parts guy found me in the clothing section of the store. I repeated to the parts guy what I understood (that the 30k mile service was included in the quote) and he said yes. I walked away because it sounded like it was going to be past my threshold for pain which was $2500 plus the 30k mile service. A week later when the parts came in and after the bike was apart the parts manager said that the 30k mile service was not included in the quote. The parts manager did make good on the 30k mile service parts and labor but with a "We know what was said". I also had a discussion at the time of the original quote with the parts manager about if the extra compression on a bike with 30k miles on it would cause other issues and require extra parts like cam chain tensioners. He stated that it should not be an issue because the tensioners are now hydraulic. My discussions with the parts manager evolved due to me getting a call saying the cam tensioners and oil pump showed signs of wear and the service adviser had a figure of $1000 more that I was originally quoted for the work. I agreed to the $300 charge for the extra parts that I was originally told would not be necessary. Well now, after spending $3630 and they were going to charge me another $127 until I complained, for an hour of labor to tell me something they should have warned me about before even doing the work, I now have a bike that is hard to start when it is hot. They are telling me that I need to have compression release valves installed and that will be another $1200 or risk burning out starter motors. Needless to say I am a very unsatisfied customer. I gave copies of the above to the Service Manager and was told that he would get with the Parts Manager. It has been several days and I have heard nothing from Chandler Harley Davidson. Since I found out apparently I was charged twice for some bearings and gaskets that were or should have been included with the stage 2 kit and gasket kit Chandler HD sold me. This was pointed out by an independent Harley mechanic and I searched the parts on line to confirm what he told me. The mechanic also told me that the 4 hours of labor I was charged for a dyno tune was probably a map that they had from doing many other bikes with a similar configuration as mine, a quick test before the download and then after to show performance gain. Great for the shop and the tech that gets paid by billable hours not hours worked. If I had known what the true cost of all of this was going to be up front I would have just gone with a dyno tune and saved the difference for a new bike down the road. Buyers beware ... Over 2 years ago i purchased a 2015 Harley Davidson. I drove it off the showroom floor that day. Now over 2 years later, I got the bike in there service dept., spoke with Steve who stated he would like to change some seals on it. When he put me on hold to get approval on the work, a woman named Kathy got on the phone and told me she would not be discussing the bike with me because I was not the legal owner. When I told her i was in fact the owner of that bike she said we no longer speak with me. So i went to the lender, Harley Davidson Financial Institute, they contacted the dealership with proof of ownership even after I was proved the owner, they refused to return my bike. This started November 9 it is now January 9 and my bike still remains in the service department even though the bank demanded them to return it to me. Susie, who received the facts, recommends that i use a different name when I come in there. Very shady business. I recommend anyone who looks for a Harley Davidson to go anywhere but Chandler Harley Davidson. They're full of shady people. I'm currently seeking legal advice. I'm out $500 a month for 2+ years plus a $17000 trade-in. read more

Sales people are cool and very knowledgable, but at all costs, STAY AWAY from the service department!. I can only assume the way they operate, that they are trained to rip people off. Reluctantly took the wife's bike in for the 10,000 mile service. (I already had a horrendus experience, and no bike for a month, but they hold the service contract), and they tell me I need a new clutch cable........since it's warranty, and fairly hard to screw up, I agreed. Took them a week to get parts...when I finally get the bike back, low and behold, it's the same clutch cable! After my $50 deductable, they charged HD $350 to change nothing.After several attempts, and the service manager telling me it HAD been changed, I showed them the road grime, etc. on the cable, proving it had not been changed. They took it back in to replace the cable, get it back and the outer casing is torn all to pieces......service manager said they have trouble with this on the Screaming Eagles and it must have happened on the test ride. I asked him about not changing the original cable, and he commented that he wasn't sure, (after I had proved it wasn't replaced and he agreed), but didn't want to call the mechanic a liar......even the guy who delivered the bike could tell it was the original cable...now I have to live with a torn up clutch cable! If this had been an isolated incedent, I may have written it off, but it happens so often, I will not even take mine there to have it worked on.....if it wasn't for my wife's service agreement, hers wouldn't go there either!
