Had the privilege of having my vehicle repaired by Scott's Coach Works. Overall extremely satisfied with their customer service and they did an impeccable job on my repairs. Victor was extremely professional and kept me updated through every step of the job. He is very knowledgeable and I recommend him to anyone. Thank you so much!

They bring your car back with more damage! IJS

On August 2019, I hired Scotts Coach works, Inc. to do some bodywork on my Lexus. I was originally quoted one week it ended up taking 17 days. I had to call weekly for updates. Fast forward two years and a move out of state I noticed the paint peeling on the front passenger bumper. At first I thought it was some bugs but the peeling grew larger and larger. I have a white car and the bumper before painting is black so it is very obvious. In June 2022 I called to see if they could accommodate my move out of state with someone possibly local to refinish the bumper. And their warranty agreement it states "Scott's coach works, Inc. provides a lifetime limited warranty, from effective date stated herein, on paint related priming and painting work against solvent blistering, peeling, hazing, and excessive loss of pigmentation, and a five (5) year limited warranty on the application and adhesion of decorative stripes and decals excluding those defects which are caused by extreme environmental conditions to which the vehicle may be exposed. The shop will re-prime, repaint, re-stripe, or re-decal the specific section or sections of the vehicle warranted hereby (excluding rust repair), when claim is made within warranty period, unless caused by or damaged resulting from unreasonable use, maintenance or care of the vehicle. Scratches, gravel marks and rock chips acquired from driving conditions are not covered." Now I garage my car and only drive to and from work 3 days a week, city driving. My car was shipped in a closed container to Oregon and washed/waxed regularly. I take very good care of my cars. When I asked what they could do to help me out, referral to an auto repair shop that will refinish the paint job they completely poorly, they said there was nothing they could do. Now I have a white front bumper with peeling paint. I wish I could take it back to them, but it's unreasonable to take it back to the shop. I was people to know this because sometimes, it looks great for a couple years and they the true work shows through. I understand it is not their fault that I moved to another state, I was asking for some sort of "working with me" to have the bumper repainted locally. Keep your warranty paperwork just in case something like this happens to you.

To start, I take incredible care of all my vehicles (I used to be a car detailer) and I take pride in my near-perfect paint on my black C63 AMG. After someone hit my car on the freeway, I followed Mercedes Benz's suggestion of using Scotts Coach Works and allowed them to proceed to do the repair. I met with the outside rep, JP at Mercedes who acknowledged my care I had for my car, as well as the meticulous quality of the paint I had (which I had personally paint corrected and ceramic coated previously). I was quoted 3-4 weeks for repair, and I mentioned as soon as they were ready to start work on my vehicle I would deliver it as I would rather my car sit in my garage than outside on a lot. JP agreed and said they could start working on it immediately. A little over 2 weeks later I get a call late-day Friday (after I'm now headed out of town) that my car is done. Yay! ....right? Not so much! Since I wasn't able to pick up the car at a moments notice (as I had ZERO heads up) my car sat outside in the rain for the weekend and got COVERED in watersports and then proceeded to bake in the sun for the next two days. For anyone who knows how to detail a car, water-spots are up there in damage with scratches as they etch themselves into the paint and need to be paint corrected, or removed with acid if they've sat in the sun. I complained to JP, as well as the inside sales rep and JP agreed to fix the situation and that Scotts Coach Works would pay the $600 (which was completely unrelated to the accident) estimate I had to repair what THEY had damaged if I could separate it on an invoice from the rest of my paint that needed to be ceramic coated that WAS damaged from the accident. I pushed my detailer for a revised quote and sent it along. This is where it gets shady. I get a call the next week from my insurance company stating that they've issued me a check for the ceramic coating repairs to my car (mind you, I haven't submitted anything to them yet). JP turned around and submitted THEIR damage to MY insurance company as if it was part of the accident!!!!! This leaves my insurance company thinking they've paid out the claim, but since he had me take off the portion for my bumper and rear quarter panel, it was still missing what was related to the accident! I called AAA and told them to deny the claim as it wasn't their portion to pay and the accident-related one was still to come. JP is now all pissed off, and ignores my calls and texts for a week straight. Finally coming back to saying that he will now agree to pay HALF of the $600 bill as that's what he deems is "fair". Yes~ because you leaving valuable cars out in the rain somehow constitutes the owner needing to pay half of the repair bills... Doesn't your shop make a living off of making cars LIKE NEW again?! I now have a car with waterspot damage sitting in my garage and a company that will not stand behind their faults. Who would think that a company with this much business couldn't afford to provide cars a protected place to park after their done with their work, or the proper staff to give customers more than 2 hours notice so they can come to pick up their cars....? If anything changes in this situation, I will update this post accordingly. *UPDATE* 8/15/19 Derek sent a check for $400 (A day prior to writing the original review, I told JP it could all go away if he agreed to pay $400 of $600 total and he declined). Not exactly what I wanted or the offer that was on the table but I'm willing to settle with this at this point as this has become a very low priority. Everyone runs businesses differently. I've upped my one-star rating to 3.

I had the worst scratch on the hood of my car from a closing gate. Sally, Victor, and the whole team at Scott's Coach Works got it out and it looked brand new! Thank you Sally and Victor!

FANTASTIC, AMAZING, TOP SHELF, INCREDIBLE! Only minimal words to describe the quality of work and friendliness of staff!! I specifically picked this shop for my work because my best friend had his Mercedes C300 fixed there. Looked brand new! Scott's coach work has to fix 13,000 worth of damages to a brand new 2018 Toyota Camry and made my car look showroom ready Also a huge shoutout to ADAM TORRES!!! My insurance company "geico" was a CRAP SHOW to deal with and Adam made this experience one of the best ever!! THANK YOU TO THE SHOP AND ADAM FOR MAKING MY LIFE EASY!!

New bumper and tail lights, paint matched perfectly!

I first used Revive Auto Care to replace a control arm on my Infiniti QX60. I found them on Yelp, appreciated their positive reviews, and liked that they communicated over text. That repair went well, so when my AC started blowing hot air, I decided to return. They initially charged me $100 for diagnostics and a refrigerant top-off, then told me I needed a new compressor and quoted approximately $1,200. I dropped the vehicle off on Tuesday. By Wednesday and Thursday, they still had not identified the issue, but they continued replacing parts including the compressor, condenser with receiver drier, premium line kit, secondary rear AC expansion valve, blend door actuator, cabin filter, and recharged the AC system. By Friday, the vehicle was still not repaired, and they ultimately determined that the battery was bad and not providing enough amperage to properly run the AC system. They replaced the battery and told me the issue was fixed, which naturally made me question whether all of the previously replaced parts were actually necessary. The total had also increased to approximately $2,500, and at no point during the process was I contacted for approval on the additional repairs and charges. When I picked up the vehicle Friday evening, the AC was still blowing hot air. In addition, the vehicle was revving abnormally both while driving and while sitting in neutral. It is now Tuesday, and my messages have gone unanswered. On Saturday, I brought the vehicle to Infiniti for another opinion. I was told that the AC system had been overcharged by 1.73 lbs of refrigerant, which they said was causing the issues I experienced after picking the car up. I understand that diagnosing AC problems can be difficult and unexpected issues can happen, but the lack of communication, failure to request approval for major additional repairs, and returning the vehicle in worse condition than when it was dropped off made this a very disappointing experience.

When I arrived, I was promptly greeted by the owner, Mike, with a warm handshake. Even with a lot full of cars, he assured me they'd squeeze me in -- which was a huge relief. In no time at all, my oil change was done, and they genuinely thanked me for coming in. What really stood out to me was the integrity.
