My server Natthavi( AKA Ice) was sensational and inspiring in his service to our table. The food was remarkably exquisite and extremely divine. The pad Thai I ate was heavenly and brought me back to Thailand( my homeland). I moved to the States when I was 12(I'm 47 now) and Sea Siam was the most authentic and pure Thai food I have eaten outside of Thailand. The first bite of my Basil squid brought tears to my eyes as it reminded me of my mother's cooking( Like the scene in Ratatouille when the food critic ate the ratatouille). Overall I would rate Sea Siam a solid 11/10 it was the best meal I have ever eaten and I have fallen into a slight depression knowing no other restaurant can top this. read more

Ok, I must say, wow on the volcano chicken....I ordered it based on the waiter's recommendation....it was spicy and tasty. My beau got the panang curry and I tasted his and it was amazing as well. They've come back and are even better than before. We have had two wonderful meals in the last few weeks. It's a great value too. I had the snapper fillet in Chile sauce. Pla Lad Prig. All the sushi rolls were fresh, tasty, and big. We had the California Roll, shrimp tempura, salmon tempura, and edimami. We've gone to this place for maybe thirty years now. I don't like writing a disappointing review but I feel it's to help one way or another. I went today and ordered a lunch special which included a soup of the day (flavorless broth with noodles and pieces of chicken), an egg roll (smallest I've ever seen) and yellow curry with beef, with very good spice level but the flavor wasn't right. This is the worst sushi place I have ever gone to. Service was terrible she wasn't personable, I got the seaweed salad which was good, the edamame was unbelievably salty, and the volcano roll..... It looked like someone puked over it. It was a flip of mayonnaise on top of rolls... I have never seen a volcano roll like that... I hesitated a bit to try it and when I did it was so bad... I only tasted mayonnaise. I am not exaggerating, I was dry heaving as it was bad. I am a sushi lover and had many volcano tolls before but this was horrible. When I told the waitress I didn't like it, she said they couldn't do anything about it. I was livid and asked for a manager, 40 minutes later and after much evasion from the waitress, a manager asked what happened and I told her. She asked if I knew what a volcano roll was and I said that I have had it many times before and she interjected and said" but not here!" I answered her that if I knew it was this disgusting I wouldn't have ordered it. And that it didn't look presentable. She asked if I wanted to take it home.... My friend then got into it and said why would I take it home if I didn't like it... Then she asked if I wanted anything else, I said no because I lost my appetite. Do yourself a favor.... Why. Just why. Their volcano chicken is made with something that taste like rubber chips or shavings that are used in playgrrounds. The servers take your plate away before you are done. The place USED to be good but has gone down the tubes. If you want good Thai go up the road a bit to a little strip mall. Much better food, much better service, and much better customer appreication from management. read more

After visiting with family near homestead, I found this place via yelp on my way back to Broward. I was absolutely starving and sushi was on my mind. After reading a few reviews I opted for the dragon roll & the Tom Kha shrimp soup which I asked them to add coconut milk & spice. My toddler was acting out so after being seated, I had to ask them to make my order to go which they kindly did with no problems. While we waited on our food to be prepared, the staff took a liking to my daughter and all began playing with her which really calmed her down a lot since she was in meltdown mode. I truly appreciated them for this. When the food came, I decided to not try to drive all the way home before eating so I had a little in-car picnic with the baby. She had pb & j, banana & milk in her bag. The first bite of my Dragon roll was like heaven on earth! The avocado was fresh, the shrimp was crisp & so was the asparagus. I couldn't wait to taste my soup which I chose to eat last because it was so hot. Although they added a tad too much coconut milk, it was still fantastic & with the perfect amount of fire. I'm kinda sad that this place is so far from home for me. I may have to pay my relatives a visit more often just for an excuse to visit Sea Siam again. Delicious!! read more

This was my neighborhood Thai restaurant for 15 years and I have never been disappointed yet. Now I live about half an hour away, but I am still a regular. The sushi is always really fresh and their Thai dishes are delicious. Their spicy tuna roll is my favorite in town. The staff is always very friendly and the service is excellent. The prices are reasonable and they have a great lunch special during the week. read more

Excellent pad thai!!! a fellow yelper recommended Origins, which I will be hitting up next time, but I was by the Falls and decided to stop by Sea Siam on the recommendation of another friend. I was not disappointed! I had the chicken pad thai and my fiance had sushi (bagel roll and red rose), I tried the latter and thought it was very good and presented very nicely. She was impatient and walked away when we weren't immediately ready to order. Rude and ungrateful people. Usually the same woman with the attitude and very disrespectful. She is usually the one that "greets" you. I wish I could say it was be because of the tough times and the fact that restaurants are struggling right now, but it's not. They have always been this way. I was a regular too. Once a week almost without fail. That was never acknowledged. I swore I'd never go back after my last experience, way before COVID, but I caved. They are convenient, close to where I live. When I go there and spend $75-$100 each order regularly, and I ask for a little extra sauce, you'd think they'd jump. They bring me one. I ask for another a they all start chattering like I asked for an entire order for free. We had the Shrimp Pad Thai which was excellent, the Chicken Panang Curry which was average and the Shrimp fried rice which was also average, I think they forgot to add soy sauce to it because the rice was still white. I would come back for the pad thai but I give it three stars due to the painfully slow service. I had to ask for water twice and both times the server that came was not even ours, we couldn't find our server. We ordered the Coconut Shrimp as an app and it came 30 minutes later...the food took 45 minutes to get to the table. So, if you come, just make sure you have at least an hour to spare and don't come starving because you'll be waiting sans food for a while... read more

We had great hope for this restaurant because we received good revues from frequent customer, but it became a disappointment. It is more expensive than other Thai restaurants, but while the freshness appears good, the taste and cooking skill is quite lacking. The service is subpar. The food flavour even with good fresh ingredients is just not quite there. We didn't have the sushi so I can't attest to that but out of the two lunch specials we got, one Japanese and one Thai, they were both tasteless and poorly cooked. Sea Siam is the best Thai/Sushi combo restaurant in Miami. It is located on US 1 South in Pinecrest. Every single thing on the menu is good. I have never been disappointed. Get there early because on most nights they get very busy and there is usually a not-too-long line. The service is very efficient, friendly, and quick. The gyoza (steamed) is great. The sweet Red Chili Whole Snapper is to DIE for! The Coconut Chicken soup is excellent (and very filling), and the Dragon Roll is the bomb! It was our first time at this restaurant. We started off with the shrimp in a blanket and the vegetable tempura as appetizers. They were delicious. The batter was perfect on the tempura and it was perfectly fried to a nice crisp. I will say though that for the first price, the shrimp in a blanket wasn't really worth it. For drinks we had Thai tea and that was delicious. For the main course, I got something simply, I ordered the pad Thai with pork and my mom ordered the volcano roll. The pad Thai had a nice level of spice, which I liked, but overall I wouldn't order it again. The volcano roll was a disappointment. The topping was over cooked and there really wasn't anything volcano about it. It was actually more of like a really crispy pancake. The roll underneath was pretty good since their take one the roll was with salmon, but still it wasn't what I expected. As far as the service, our server was really nice and attentive, but the wait between the appetizer and the main course was too long. By the time the food arrived I was no longer really craving what I ordered. All in all it really isn't a place I would typically come back to. Maybe I just came on an off night. read more

Sea Siam is a Pinecrest Thai and sushi staple. They serve up an excellent fried spicy whole snapper, which in my opinion is one of the stars of the restaurant and perfect for sharing. I recommend trying their curry puffs for appetizer, it's a little different from the ones served at Indian restaurants; the ones here come in smaller bites and the dough is a bit denser, I find myself ordering this every time and I have noticed a subtle improvement in this dish. Their sushi is decently delicious, good quality and won't make a hole in your wallet. Their Thai/Japanese dishes are more Americanized. The pad see ew is by no means authentic, features pad thai thin noodles instead of wide flat noodles. Needless to say, it's not my go-to dish here. I always get the Thai iced tea, love that stuff! The atmosphere is always fun and friendly, service can be slower during busier hours. Overall, they do a great job and I always enjoy eating here. read more

Been here many times because it's my dad's favorite place for sushi. You can dine in the main dining room, and there is also a separate area to the right as soon as you enter that has a bar with small TVs and more dining tables. I've eaten once at the bar, and the bartender was very nice. The food is always good quality, and the prices are reasonable. The spicy tuna roll is different, topped with plenty of sweet and spicy sauce. I love coming here with a group and getting one of the big sushi boats. The chicken pad thai is yummy, one of the better ones I've had. I'm not a big fan of curry but my bf really enjoyed the yellow curry. Anything tempura here is great too! And I'm surprised others have complained about the staff. Every time I've been there, the staff has been very friendly and attentive. read more

Honestly I should skew for Miami food - especially Miami Asian food, but Sea Siam is just not great. The pad Thai I ordered here was much too oily and salty, and I couldn't really finish much of it, nor did I want to. The papaya salad with shrimp is decent. I remember I used to think all Thai food in Pinecrest was expensive, and I suppose for what you get it's not the best price point. However, I don't really remember if Tani Thai is better or worse, I just know it's around the same price point. I think it's just hard to do Asian right in the Miami suburbs, so maybe venture a bit further north to sate any cravings you might experience here. read more

I am a big fan of Thai food and this was awesome! They have the best fried JB roll I have ever had. HOWEVER, I have a huge problem with this restaurant which will cause me to never return. I ordered an item that I did not particularly like (even though everything else was really good) and I mentioned it to the waitress who called the manager. I told the manager that I did not mind paying for it but I did not think the dish was done right. He told me that he would give me a refund since I had only had one bite, but it would be charged to the waitress. I thought that was incredibly unprofessional. He said that so that I would pay even though my item was not good. His attitude was not exactly nice either. It was embarrassing for the waitress and for us. Never coming back! read more

We have been here many times. The last two times have been a disappointment. The boys love sushi and their sushi is always good but not great. The spring rolls are horrible and so were the crispy crab appetizers. The beef teriyaki was so hard and over cooked that we cook not eat it. Very mediocre restaurant. Will not be returning. Too many better options. Oh and I really hate the no refills on the soft drinks. Very tacky in my opinion. Soda is very cheap...especially when bought in volume like for a restaurant. read more

Outstanding! Sea Siam is in a no-frills shopping center but it's been there a while and has no shortage of patrons. We were promptly seated and given menus and while our server was not overly talkative, she was super efficient, answered questions and made recommendations. Curry puffs were delightful, seaweed salad perfect and the edamame kept my daughters quiet. The two sushi rolls my daughters ordered were beautiful and yummy. My husband ordered volcano chicken and I had a coconut curry chicken - both delish but I admit I handily out-ordered my hub which always pleases me.
