For a little taste of the best of both worlds you can't go wrong with Sea siam. You have a full Thai menu offering amazing curries along with other dishes and you have a full Japanese menu offering katsu's and sashimi. Pairing for the best of both worlds. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place decor will make you feel right in Asia[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the service is up to par with their culture. Don't expect anything more than fast service and calling the server your way.

The food was delicious I enjoyed everything that I ate. The clear noodles were my favorite! Great portions packed with flavor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant isn't fancy but it has a lot of character.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waiter was friendly and from Thailand. I recommend this place.

I forgot the name of the sushi I got but it was SO. GOOD. It had giant chunks of salmon in it. Everything else was good too, but I loved the sushi. The service was ok - I think we caught our server on a bad day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I kind of love that the restaurant hasn't changed in years.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I want to go back and check out the bar!

I know our eyes are somewhat bigger than our stomachs but the service was slow dues to the large early birders table and other birds, but the food we had was the bomb. We had the veggie tempura, and seaweed salad to begin. I had the sushi, sashimi, tempura combo, with miso soup, mom had the Tom yum goon with shrimp soup, & the beef Padang with brown rice. I did feel bad for the elderly couple who after getting their soup and little purse appetizer waited quite a while for their dinner order which came while we were through our main courses and we came in long after they had been sitting. They did need a few more servers to help out, because the few they did have were overwhelmed. I always enjoy having my sushi and Thai food here.

I ordered the sushi for pick up and wow ! Such a great value for money it was all of this yummy sushi ( a hand roll included ) plus miso soup for $17. It was the veggie combo platter. I haven't had sushi this tasty and for good value in a long time ! Definitely going to go dine in one day. Highly recommend the sushi combos.

Well this evening we decided to pay Sea Siam a visit, which is nestled in Pinecrest not too far from our digs. After a long day at the beach we were both craving some Asian Fusion and some sushi to boot. To start we ordered the Kanisu which was very refreshing and fresh. Really love that crab and cucumber in that light sweet sauce. We also ordered the Dragon Rill as well for an appetizer which has always been a crowd favorite at Sea Siam. The sushi bar at Sea Siam is very good and the sushi chef's are always super nice to everyone as well. Really all the staff are very courteous and always provide us with great service. We have been coming here for years and have always enjoyed it. For our main entrees we ordered the Chicken Teriyaki and the Lady Finger sushi platter. As expected both items were excellent and very fresh. Truthfully for those who have not been here the restaurant is very unassuming and does not look like much; however, the food never disappoints; also, they have a pretty good full bar as well. Martini's or Moscow Mule's anyone? Important to note that you can also order food in the bar area so should you opt for the bar area and you get the munchies, no need to worry they have you covered. Parking should not be a problem either as they are located in a pretty large mall. So if you haven't tried them out and are looking for a Thai & Japanese restaurant that has good food and will not break the bank you should give them a try. Enjoy and Bon Appétit!

I am updating my review to a five star - as the pandemic - needs patrons to appreciate what restaurants are doing in these hard times. I came today after having been to the dentist and I needed to be cheered up. So with my frozen, n numb face I could not be bothered to fiddle around with the contactless download menu option on my phone (great idea - but I was feeling fed up n lazy). I received a prettily newly designed paper one - see all my pics. I chose their duck lunch special for a great price of 10.95 - which includes their soup of the day, egg fried rice, a small spring roll and the dish that I choose. They had a few duck dishes - I have tried a alternative duck one before - see my previous review, so this time I chose a differet one - the red thai curry one. The Service was prompt and friendly, and the food was just what the doctor (aka dentist this time ordered) The soup was wholesome - with big chicken pieces, slivers of chineses mushrooms and beansprouts, with sliced spring onions and had a slight sweet and sour taste - I don't know what it was, but it was nice. My curry was mild to medium (as the waitress said "medium is hot") it was perfect for me - with a nice warmth to it. The duck was succulent but with a crispy skin (my favourite) and served with a lovely creamy red curry thai sauce, and plenty of it (I hate it, when there is not enough sauce). I also love their presentation here, for example their rice is placed inside a triangular dish and upturned onto your dish so it looks pretty - rather than just a blob! (see pics)

Perhaps the day will come when I will stop being surprised at how many outstanding restaurants…read morethere are in our wonderful city of Miami. Relying solely on the reviews of my fellow Yelpers we decided to try 107 Taste. And I must say in terms of this restaurant, it was love at first sight. First of all the restaurant is really attractive. It is always a good sign when you walk into a restaurant on a random Wednesday night to see that the mid week crowd is comparable to what you would see other popular restaurants on the weekend. When you walk in the door, you're hit with the subtle aromas. They put your taste buds on high alert. Looking at the food on the other diner's tables only serves to make you salivate for what you were about to eat. Even before the first bite, you know you are in for a treat. I love Asian food and already have several favorites, but I had no idea how much I would enjoy this meal. The menu is a combination of a variety of Asian cuisines and tonight we decided to go with the wonton soup and the combination pad Thai these were also the recommendations of our server. Admittedly, there were a number of appetizers that attracted my attention and I did look ahead to dessert with the admission to try those as well. But our two entrées were so filling and so satisfying there was nothing that could've made the meal better. Some key points are that one of my pet peeves is when there are pictures on the menu and the food looks nothing like the picture. These many pictures are spot on so that beautiful pad Thai pictured on the menu was exactly what was put on my table. Same with the wonton soup. The wonton soup was quite tasty with fresh bok choy and delicious homemade wontons. It does have noodles in it, but no proteins outside of the wonton filling. The Pad Thai was the perfect balance balance of sweet and savory that you would find, and only the finest of Thai restaurants I loved every bite. When you order a dish with combination meets you often disappointed because the different proteins require different cooking times and so none of them actually seem cooked quite right. This was not the case here. The chefs take care to make sure that every vegetable, every noodle, every piece of shrimp, steak, and chicken are cooked perfectly. The sauce is so balanced and complements the ingredients perfectly. Food prices were reasonable. I did not order tea, which I usually would at an Asian restaurant because I thought the price was a bit high. I did not ask if complementary refills came with the soft drinks or iced tea. Overall, this was great experience with remarkably excellent food and superlative service. There's parking in the back although I parked on the street. This is a great addition to the growing number of restaurants in South Miami and is one that I am sure to return to.

After a thorough yelping, we landed on this fine establishment, with FREE parking located behind. It's right on South Dixie, great central location! We park and head over. The place is lively with a good number of clientele for the usual "on Miami time" late dinner. I love that about our shining AwEsOmE hometown city! The staff is smiling and cordial, graciously sitting us wherever we choose. We chose comfy padded bench seating. The menu is terrific with delicious pics and many ways to customize protein and spice levels. The drinks look great, but I'm driving and it's late, so next time! With guidance of what's popular, we choose the big house wonton noodle soup and pad thai medium spice with three proteins of steak, shrimp & chicken. The wonton soup is SO Soooo good. Angel hair noodles, unique delicious wontons, whole bok choy...so hearty. We also split the pad thai with steak, chicken and shrimp. It is a true standout: Perfectly spiced, a fine balance of sweet and savory. Yelpies--It just doesn't get any better! Check out 107 Taste when you're in the area and have the craving for Asian. Thank me later! Thanks for following me, happy summer yelping in 2026! ~Tami in Miami

The food is incredible and about as authentic as it gets--fresh, flavorful, and seasoned to perfection. And the atmosphere? Simply phenomenal. I had the Xacutti Chicken, which continues to be my favorite dish, while my fiancée ordered the Patiala Chicken and loved every bite. Our food came out quickly, and every dish delivered an unforgettable experience in flavor. We also had the pleasure of meeting the chef who prepared our meal, and he was wonderful. He took the time to check on us personally and make sure we were enjoying everything, which made the experience feel even more special. It was a fantastic evening at a truly special restaurant, and we already can't wait to come back. This place is an absolute must-try.

I placed an order on December 30 at 5:00 PM directly through the restaurant's website for $75 ($65…read more+ $10 tip). The website specifically encouraged ordering directly instead of using third-party apps like DoorDash or Uber Eats, stating it was better for the restaurant. After placing the order, I received a notification that my food was being prepared--through DoorDash. This was confusing, as the website never required me to sign into DoorDash; all delivery and payment information was collected directly on the restaurant's site. By 6:00 PM, my order had not arrived. When I checked the status, it showed that the restaurant had canceled the order, yet I was still charged. I called the restaurant and a young boy answered, explaining that "Grubhub didn't submit the order info, so we received a blank order and canceled it." I clarified that I ordered directly from their website and that my card was charged by the restaurant. When I asked about a refund, I was told that DoorDash would refund me in a few days--which made no sense, since DoorDash never took my payment. I then contacted DoorDash, who confirmed that the restaurant processed the payment and that the refund had to come from them. DoorDash called the restaurant and merged us into a call, where I was told to "call back tomorrow after 1 PM when the manager is here." They refused to take my name or leave a note for the manager. Two days later, I finally reached the manager, who processed a refund the following day and sent me a photo as proof. However, the refund was only for $65--the $10 tip was not included. When I asked about this, I was told to "call next time if you want something special." I simply wanted a full refund for an order that was canceled by the restaurant and never made. It has now been over a month, and I have still not received any refund. I followed up and was told they "did everything on their end" and was sent another photo of a receipt showing a refund. I can confirm I have received $0 back. Since this was paid with a debit card, I am unable to dispute the charge. After four days of constant calls and messages--and now over a month later--I am still without a refund. Do not order from their website. If I ever try the food or actually get a refund I will update.

My dad and his beloved partner Ellen loved PF Chang's. It is in their honor that I return here and…read moredine on their favorites. While still not quite up to what I hope for, our local P.F. Chang's here in the Falls seems to have better food and better service than the restaurant that I went to with with Dad, but his memory is still the highlight of my meal. There are a lot of special dinners and honestly, I have not taken the time to figure out if it saves me money to take advantage of them, but I find it easier to order from those menus. Dad and Ellen were particularly fun of the spareribs and the lettuce wraps as appetizers, the egg drop soup, the Mongolian beef and the sesame chicken. So I generally will include these among my choices for the evening. I cannot vouch for the authenticity of the egg drop soup, but what I can't say that it is my favorite egg drop soup anywhere. The consistency is somewhat different and helps the flavor linger on the palate. I always enjoy it. The very first time I ate lettuce wraps was actually at a P.F. Chang's. So for me that has set the standard for how it's supposed to taste. So I can never come here and not order this. But I try not to fill up on it the appetizer and have discovered that the way they separate the lettuce and they filling makes it perfect to bring home for a snack later on leftovers. I generally order the chefs feast. This allows me to share an appetizer and have my own perfectly portioned entrée and soup or salad. There is even an option to add on one of their delicious desserts. My go to options are the Mongolian trio or the sesame chicken. Mongolian trio is chicken, beef and shrimp in a really delicious sauce. The sesame chicken is quite good and the sauce is delicious but the chicken is never prepared crispy. This is also true of what they call the crispy honey chicken which tastes great, but it isn't crispy so either change the name or make it crispy. I would like it much better if it were. These meals also come with rice, white or brown, or fried rice with an added up charge. Frankly, the fried rice is not all that good to make it worth an up charge. Occasionally, when with a larger group we will order a la carte from the menu, but often get the same dishes, adding and some additional appetizers like the spareribs. On our last visit, they didn't offer the chefs feast although they told me afterwards that I could've gotten it. That was a little disappointing. My main problem with this particular restaurant is inconsistency. The food is always at least very good, but sometimes is outstanding. I am not sure why it can't be outstanding every time. The dishes vary very slightly in flavor from visit to visit. The food that has crispy in its name is never crispy. The service is also variable. I have been seated and then forgotten until I go and get the waiter and I have waited sometimes over a half an hour to get a check. Other times the service has been impeccable. All of these issues are fixable and while I rarely would give five stars to a chain restaurant this one has the potential but to get there they're going to have to step up their game every time I visit. Incidentally, the few times I've interacted with managers there, they are outstanding. Hopefully they will rub off on the rest of the staff.

Hey foodies! This…read morereview is a little extra special to me because this place has been special to my husband and me for years... even though they have no idea! Gyu-Kaku is hands down one of our favorite restaurants. Anytime we find out we're in an area that has one, we always make it a priority to go. We've been eating here for about 14 years, and somehow it never gets old! If you've never been, it's a Japanese BBQ restaurant where you grill your own food right at your table, making it such a fun and interactive dining experience. One of the best parts? Their all-day Happy Hour on Sundays! You can choose between their all-you-can-eat menu with set pricing or order items individually. We always order à la carte because we love trying all our favorites. We started with the Fried Bacon Chips and Miso Wings, and baby... chef's kiss! For our sides, we ordered the Garlic Rice and Garlic Noodles. They are definitely shareable, and they prepare them for you. They are packed with flavor! For seafood, we went with the shrimp. Now for the meats... we ordered the New York Strip, Ribeye, Garlic Basil Chicken, and Teriyaki Chicken. Every single bite was worth it. Let's just say... I needed to be rolled out of there! And yes, I happily took leftovers home and enjoyed them again the next day. And if you enjoy a good cocktail with your meal, Gyu-Kaku definitely doesn't disappoint. Their drink menu has plenty of delicious options to pair with your BBQ. After 14 years of eating here, I can honestly say this place has never let us down. Great food, a fun atmosphere, and one of our favorite traditions whenever we're traveling. Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Atmosphere: 10/10 Experience: 10/10 If you've never tried Gyu-Kaku, add it to your list. Just make sure you come hungry... very hungry!

Their spicy soup is indeed spicy and a big upgrade over the miso soup, which is easily the worst miso soup I've ever had. I do think they should offer more veggies with the feast for 6 but otherwise it's a good deal that will leave everyone stuffed. Lastly, as someone else noted, the grills can be very inconsistent. Either way too hot or not hot at all most of the time. Overall a great experience though.
