I've been going to Seabirds for a few years now. I'm satisfied every time. Even when I order to-go, the flavor and quality is still top tier. Dining in is always enticing though because environment is cozy and the staff is inviting and genuine. I think the enchiladas and stuffed shells are my favorite, but the tacos are all so delicious as well. I've tried almost everything. The Chaffles and Avocado Mousse are amazing desserts. I'm being good today and eating Vegan. I remember Seagulls when they were on The Great Food Truck Race. Back then you would never catch me eating anything Vegan. I was a fan of The Lime Truck. Times have changed and Vegan food has gotten pretty good. I went with the mushroom taco and Mac and cheese. I dined on the outside patio. I really enjoyed the taco. Mushrooms are a favorite of mine. This is my second time coming here. The first time, I got the Al pastor tacos which were amazing! This time, I got the grilled cheese and tomato soup which was perfect for lunch and packed with amazing flavors. The blueberry mint lemonade is my new go-to, it's wonderful. Parking can be a little difficult, and sometimes the wait is long but it's worth the wait! Plus, there are shops around to spend your time in while you wait for a table. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and the employees are welcoming and helpful. My friends also loved the cold brew! The Warm Cauliflower Salad is a full 10/10 in my books because it hits everything I could want in a dish: Crunchy brussels sprouts intermixed with fresh arugula, tender spiced cauliflower accented by the sweet-spicy mini peppers, crispy breadcrumbs and hazelnuts, creamy tahini, caramel-like dates in a hearty warm salad. Cute lil spot with good food and quick, friendly service This Vegan place is located within the lab (the only point of contention being the parking sich, they have like ~20 some spots shared among 7+ stores and restaurants) and they match the boho minimalist vibe of that mall. Easy access and restrooms available. 10ish indoor seats and a couple of outdoor seating. There's no reservations or wait-listing online but there's probably an in person wait-list. We tried the warm cauliflower salad (online menu showed a 1/2 salad option, but in-store dining didn't allow that), a jackfruit nacho bowl, peach cobbler and a booch. Everything was good, fav being the not too sweet cobbler and the delicious jackfruit. The salad was a lil bland and was missing dates altogether (in hindsight I should have raised this to the kitchen but it tasted ok so it wasn't a deal breaker,just mislabeled). Service was great, they're really hard working, intuitive, and follow-up frequently. I'm not vegan, but I also don't look at food and think oh crap it's missing cheese or meat. So if you just eat the food presented without drawing parallels (or even if you do), they do a good job of putting together wholesome dishes that can satiate any pallette. Really enjoyable vegan Mexican food! As a heads-up, this place is located in the Lab Anti-Mall, and parking is usually a little tricky. I loved the jackfruit al pastor, it had a tangy and savory flavor which I was a fan of. The butternut squash enchiladas were lightly sweet and almost reminiscent of a Thai green curry. Truly one of the best vegan spots you will ever eat at. I have a milk allergy, anaphylactic, very severe and I have never once had an allergic reaction at this restaurant! My favorites include the avocado tacos, the purple taquitos, and the mac and cheese. The cold brew also goes down quite smooth. My mother, who is a huge carnivore, cites this as one of the best vegan places she's had. The dealbreaker, for many, will be the speed of service. Since 2022ish, they have been a bit understaffed, so you'll likely have a wait before being seated, and you may not be checked up on a lot. However, once your order is placed, the food comes out quickly, and every single server and host is hospitable and pleasant. Waiting is not a dealbreaker for me if the food makes up for it, and in this case, it does. Not only that, but the interior and exterior seating are comfortable and at a good volume, so I have a nice place to wait regardless. read more

I was really sad they don't have the bimbimbap bowl at this location. Please make it available! However, I ended up settling for the Locals Bowl with added jackfruit and it did not disappoint. Kudos to the hubs for finding this place during our weekday getaway! Their tacos are bomb!!! I got the AL PASTOR TACO and BEER BATTERED AVO TACO. The al pastor style jackfruit was on point so you're getting the authentic flavor. The avo mash, red onion, cilantro, almond feta, radish, and chile lime peanuts made this taco flavorful and filling. The Beer Battered Avo Taco was reminiscent of beer battered fish taco. And I love that Seabirds sauce. It tastes great with fries also. Some places give small taco portions. Not Seabirds. They're pretty generous. My hubs got the BUTTERNUT ENCHILADAS. It was good but he thought it was pretty heavy especially the sauce. My son loved their fries. He also liked their quesadillas and tomato soup. I really commend them for their Covid protocols. Park like benches for outdoor dining, servers wear masks, and sanitizers at each table. I have been coming here for over 5 years and this was always one my favorite vegan spots. I called around 8 pm asking when the last seating was for the night. The guy who answered told me 8:45 pm was last seating. We come in at 8:30 pm and the host says sorry we can't sit you. We are Only doing take out. I explain to her that I just called and spoke to someone and they said they could seat us if it's before 8:45 pm . She kept denying everything and I told her I could should her my call log. And I showed her my phone that I just spoke with someone and she said "nope you didn't call" How can a hostess gaslight like that. My first time at an all Vegan place!! The wait was around 30 minutes on a Sunday but it's located at the Lab so there's plenty of areas to explore while passing time. I originally wanted the Chipotle Florentine, but they ran out (it was around 2 pm). I ended up ordering the Classic Waffle with an addition (+ $3.50) of Almond Butter and Bananas. It was my first time at a vegan place but my meal was more than enough for me. The almond butter was so rich and creamy! They give us our syrup on the side so it isn't soggy by the time we get it. The other meals on the side were super filling and delicious as well. Give them a try!! Definitely swing by here for brunch/lunch! We had sat in an area where the sun bothered us and they were so quick to move us to a different table! They also made sure everything was multiple times throughout our meal. It was very light and fluffy and had good flavor. There was also a sauce on the biscuit that had a great balance of sweetness and savoryness. Updating my review almost 10 years later because Seabirds is STILL amazing! This is a favorite spot for me and my dog. The outdoor seating is so nice and relaxing. My favorite thing on their menu is the grilled cheese and tomato bisque. I miss that classic combo so much, especially during the cold seasons so it's nice I can always count on getting it here. SO delicious. My second favorite things is definitely their nachos! Absolutely perfecttttt! Their chips are so crispy and the toppings all pair together sooooo well. I'm always super impressed with how they cook the jackfruit. I have yet to come here with another vegan, but all the omnivores I bring LOOOOOVE this place! I tend to get a beer when I come because they have a good selection, but their drink menu in general is great and has something for everyone. This place is so tasty! We came here for a friends birthday lunch. It wasn't as crowded as expected for The Lab area. We were seated right away in their outdoor dining area consisting of picnic tables and lots of greenery. Really cool for outdoor seating. Only thing was the table and bench were super sticky making it kinda gross to move around. My friends have been here several times and they love the purple taquitos and fries so obviously we had to get two orders of each. It was Thursday afternoon and our server mentioned they had a special french fry dish with cheese, mushrooms and a delicious green sauce, so we got that plus a kale salad and brussle sprouts as well.
